      I would let you know once I start my car and how it goes. I still have to take out the little rod from the ignition, wire the two black wires to the clutch switch, and connect the reverse lines. Does it matter how the wire is connected to the clutch switch?

    • @adorno1010

    You do not need to take off any pin from the ignition switch. There is two wires in the shift harness you have to jump together in order to get your key out.

    great video man, listen now my questions it's 2. 1st question. I want to buy a clean shell automatic eg hatch right but I want to convert to manual, do I have to do all same process as far as it goes with the EK body. I'm looking to do a conversion on a EG body, is it all similar, process and all parts I need to, and get all prepared as same steps as you did? and also for the EG hatch Auto to manual, I have to remove the piston the type of thing that it's inside the ignition steering column ? let me know. I'm more interested about this EG auto to manual conversion, I have a rusted manual hatch it's pretty rusty and I want to get a clean eg hatch but all I see unmolested are the old people's car... automatic so clean eg hatches unmolested fully stock. I can get a manual eg hatch but those cars were pure run fuck down hard and chopped or rebuilt title. .... you follow me why I want a auto eg hatch cus its clean, and unmolested but my only concern just the conversion

      Dawolf 69 everything for the most part is exactly the same. if you can't find a donor car just piece the swap together. put as far as the swap itself the mechanical parts that need to get swapped are all the same steps and yes you have to remove the piston in the ignition switch

    • @adorno1010
      @adorno1010  4 роки тому

      I'm not quite sure what your actuall question is. If you are asking if you can change the engine harness from obd2a to obd2b the answer is no. For example if you have a 96 to 98 car that is the harness you need to use a 99 to 00 harness will not work

    • @martinezben2364
      @martinezben2364 4 роки тому

      Ok. The car is a 98 ex coupe obd1. D16y8 I’ve done everything just need to do the wiring. I had a p2p ecu that came with a manual engine harness to a y8 obd1.. so I don’t have to run wires out for the reverse. I can just cut by the ecu, to run out for me. But it doesn’t turn over and I can’t hear the fuel prime

I took the intake manifold from a manual z6 and did the 3 wire to 2 wire swap on the engine side and ecu side. • @adorno1010

      speed sensor on the trans might be faulty, the vtec not working could be multiple things like the solenoid being messed up or the screen on the solenoid being clogged. the iac wire swap wouldn't make it do that since it's just there to regulate the idle.

      I dont understand your question. for the brake pedal I installed all 3 pedals from a 5 speed car. if that is what you are asking. if you are using a automatic brake pedal just cut it so you dont press the brakes when trying to press the clutch. did this answer your question?

    Many conflicting opinions; can you run the auto ecu with auto iacv and car will idle fine ? Until I get around to putting the manual ecu and 2 wire iacv in. Don't care about codes just care that it idles properly with auto ecu and auto 3 wire iacv after manual swap.

      remain devoid it will run with auto ecu I'm pretty sure you already tried it by now

    So you dont need to connect nothing to the clutch, you dont need to it's just optional right?

    • @adorno1010
      @adorno1010  4 роки тому +1

      If you connect the wires like I showed then no you dont need to do anything to the clutch. Look at the previous video on ot and I show how to connect the wiring

      Jessie Altamirano that's pretty much it. it's hard for me to try and diagnose with out being there. I believe it has to do with the wiring. do your plugs look like mine where the shifter used to be? Also did you take the the little cylinder out of the ignition.

    • @jessiealtamirano9056
      @jessiealtamirano9056 7 років тому

      EJ8 SEDAN yes at look just like u and everything looks like yours... i know u used at stick shift ecu but the auto ecu have 4 plugs and the stick shift have 3 plugs... did u used the stick shift harness or u using the auto harnes and reping the auto harnes into the stick shift ecu
