It's actually all the above. Better driving experience, better fuel economy, more acceleration, better torque.

Auto to manual is a very straight-forward swap. Doesn't cost much and was done in a day.

You may have to buy one. They cost around 35 to 40k

And what made you change to a manual gearbox!! Is it worth the effort!! Also what happen with the comouter unit that control the Automatic gearbox!! Do you have to remove that !!
Hi. So far I have not encountered any problem. The set up works perfectly. There is no need for changing the ECU. You will still use the same computer. Believe me when I say that the swap is worth it. I don't regret.

@@Yo-shi-t there are no major wiring works. The manual gearbox has less electrical components, and you don't need to change the ECU.

I used loom for an automatic on my manual engine swap nissan almera big problem it does not start with key its just turns no crank or wat but if i short wire starter it starts any advise?
Looks like you need a wiring expert for this issue. I can recommend my wiring guy if you need any referral
car thinks its in drive. Ground the safety switch for starting and should fire right up

Is it possible I get a six speed manual Gearbox for my 2003 Toyota Mark II or its just a 5 speed. Its a 2000cc AT
I am not well-informed on the drivetrains that power a Mark II. You will have to do research and see if there is any 6-speed gearbox that is compatible with the engine you have. I am assuming it's a BEAMS engine?

Why starter motor won't work after swapping auto transmission to manual?
Hi. That means the engine and gearbox are not compatible. In corollas, that happens when you put an A series engine with an E series gearbox, or vice versa.
I also need advise my almera wont start with key changed from auto to manual only starting with hot wiring ..wgat can i do

Awesome content. Been contemplating of executing this swap. Also, I am thinking of turbo charging my 1nz hehe. In your experience, is this doable in Kenya? Is it a good idea to start with? is it troublesome ?
Thank you 🙏. I recommend the swap to everyone. Manuals are more reliable and economical.
However, I don't recommend turbo-charging an aluminiun block, such as a 1nz-fe. It has a higher probability of being trouble-some. But if you still want to try it out, I can recommend a garage for doing that.
You can try a 4E-FTE swap instead
