Just for info really but I am not sure of US prices but here in the UK this Gold would cost today 28/7/24 about £600 and if you got it there today you would of paid £940 for it. So best check prices in your home country before buying again. One thing to add is, if you want to buy a chain in Thailand it much cheaper there because they don't charge as much as the west does for making them.
I think up to $10k u can bring into your country same as rules for cash.After that it has to be declared..
Think d confusion is d terms used, instead of using premium what would be more appropriate would be workmanship fee. As gold prices are regulated mostly by the governments, prices by the baht/gram does not chance from shop to shop. Of course there is a difference between jewelry and bars, due to the manufacturing process. Definitely easier to make bars than necklaces.

In Canada I paid $1200 without the premium for 15g . My bank charges $10 per G . It's a rip off but I still buy gold .
