Amazing practice and very humbling. Ive been doing hatha, vinyasa and power for 6 years and have just visited ashtanga.. I feel i am starting again, so many challenging poses and beautifully done. I can see how this takes years to do, what a beautiful journey i am about to embark upon. Thank you Kino
Slowly getting back into Ashtanga after doing other types of yoga for many years. For some reason I've been drawn back to primary series again. This was tough for me but i'll persevere. Thank you.
O yes.....a well trained student! You go teacher! I always love your videos and regard your teaching with high respect! You have helped me and others so much so thank you Kino! Love you, Michael 🙏
Thank you for sharing this. I did not feel like practicing this morning... felt achy in my heart and unsteady in body. but your energy and the joy you share in the practice is contagious. Namaste
Amazing class, Kino. I thought I had been doing the traditional ashtanga primary series for a couple of years, but your class really humbled me! Incredible!
That was inspiring! What an effort to talk through, clearly and with enthusiasm, over an hour of poses and breathing! And the yogini doing the series is amazing - beautiful to watch.
And thank you for sharing free videos Kino! I am not allowed to practice with my teacher in the moment, cause of government restrictions. Your videos help me to keep practicing and not losing focus. Thank you
I'm trying hard during this period of staying home, too. I had to stop doing the flows between the sitting postures, and giggled out loud at my struggles with a few postures too. Haha. This was fun to try, but I'll have to stick with some of Kino's simpler flows, like her recent one, Yoga for a Happy Day 😍
I am so much thankful for this video!!! I follow you on Instagram for years and you became like someone who I know, I trust. How amazing it was to find out your video with ashtanga here when I needed so much! I gave up yoga group classes since the quarantine started and only now decided to continue online. Had no idea which video will pop up after my search. And it was you! I feel so happy to come back to my beloved yoga and with one who I trust a lot! Unbelievable!!! Thank you!!!❤️🧘♀️
Enjoyed it a lot. Appreciate the counting and encouragement. Some of the last quarter ads as were new to me, but I enjoyed seeing them. I feel strong and content. I’ll be back. Thank you and your demonstrator. You were both wonderful.
Thank you so much Kino!! I love your practice. In my studio, they never do the full ashtanga series, so I wasn't familiar with some of the poses, but getting there now ;) Thank you so much!! stay safe and healthy. Greetings from Taiwan :)
Thank you so much for this video. I was waiting for this. Well, I have to modify the jump through as my core not strong enough yet, so I just hold my body crossed legged and hopefully once will happen the jump through too. :D Thank You. Namaste
Thank you so much for these free led classes. I was sad to lose the guidance and inspiration that you get in a room of people, and these videos are a perfect substitute. I like the pace in this one. I always wonder if it's better to try to slow down, or if timing depends on how you feel or how advanced you are. :)
Hi Kino! I've been practicing for 9 months now, I still can't do all the postures perfectly (if that exists), I'm working hard on strengthening my body and also working my flexibility, but I'll give this practice a try, just will do my Best listening to my body. Thanks so much for your videos. Lots of love!
This was wonderful! A beautiful mix of stretching and strengthening. I couldn’t do a lot of the moves, which gives me something to aspire to. I will be revisiting this session and practicing! Thank you Kino!
Thank you for sharing this lovely practice and energy. I'm also loving this yogi's leotards!!! The colours bring joy to my heart! Any idea what brand they are? Thank you Kino sending love xo
I been practicing Ashtanga full on for the past 8months now. I been doing Yoga for about 15 years, I’m a qualified Pilates teacher. Always been very active, strong flexible. At the moment I feel like my practice decreased, my strength not so great etc. Can someone else relate to this? Does my body exhausted and needs a rest? Namaste 🙏
Namaste from India! Wonderful energy and great led class. I have been practicing for almost 3 years now and still found the session too fast. In a hurry to keep up the pace I ended up injuring the muscles around my right rib cage. I can't properly recollect but I think it might have happened in Marichyasana A. I should have listened to my body, that's the lesson learned. :)
I agree with you, this was too fast. My student Barri was just so fast to get in and out of the poses and I guess we were both a little nervous so I counted faster than usual and she practiced and was breathing faster than usual. Check out the class I did yesterday and you might find the pace better.
@@KinoYoga My intercostal muscles are pretty bad now. I have been doing half primary after the pain began, but now it has worsened and I have to stop practicing Ashtanga all together till the pain subsides, Chaturanga and downward-facing dog is painful. I did very gentle and mindful stretching today, mostly hamstrings, hips and bit of shoulder rotations. Put my entire focus on the breath and the painful area... hope I recover soon. I can't wait to get back to my regular full primary practice.
Ashtanga is one of the best things that happened to me.
From Italy , in this moment of crisis ... the deepest gratefullness for your sharing.

I know! This Saturday I’m going to slow down. My student Barri was just soooo good that it was all so easy for her.
Omg I managed only half and switched to smth slower. I will come back again and again and in the end of quarantine I am going to perform the whole 😍😍😍
Thank you, this is sooo good
