Thank you, Kino. I'm an old gymnast who found your work years ago. It is right for me, the approach, the progressions, postures. I add meditation and extra breath work. But when I want a session, I want the kind of concentration you offer.
The vibrations of the ancients resonate in your voice. Thank you for being a true Yogi and charging this atomosphere with your divine energy, Ommm to you
Its two months i am on yoga. My life has changed for very good. Urge every one to start learning yoga. Union of mind body and soul. Just to add you also realize at the initial stage that how rigid your body is. I could never sit in crossed leg but i am now able to sit but not in padmasana which is lotus pose
I'm enjoying all these different Primary practices - even if they're hard for me, but thank goodness for the 'pause' button 😄 Thank you Kino, Namaste 🙏 🕉
Thank you!! I started Ashtanga this week at a yoga center in Louisville and this is helping me practice so I don't need as much guidance from the teacher.
I never thought that this practice makes me fire as hell. I was burning all the way. I was able to realize how the practice calms the mind and the long breathes makes everything regulated. Definitely a good teacher like you on the class can correct me along the practice. It was so fast that I have to take breaks often to re-watch and take regain some energy then get back. It was wonderful indeed!! thank you for sharing this wonderful video. Namaste
Kino, thank you sooooo much!!!! Thank you for your kindness, offering us so much with all’s these inspiring LIVE videos!!! I love you....!❤️💕 all the best wishes from 🇬🇷 Greece
Thank you Kino. I am attempting to push through this primary series one pose at a time. So challenged. But motivated to keep going. Much love from Cleveland. Namaste
🌞Thank You for making this quicker guided Primary Series available here! That bit about it not being a 'spectator sport' and that you're watching those practicing at home... 😅 I paused it to practice nadi shodhana at the end. Namasté. ❤
Thank u kino for taking my 1.23min,really enjoyed n practise. Doing with josep is exciting. I am imagining his beginning of yog class 🤔. Once again tq kino for making us wake up! 🙏🇳🇵😍
I'm really excited to take this class! It's so awesome you're providing so many great videos for people. I started yoga practicing at home 10 years ago and there were really only 15 minute videos. Oh how this platform has changed. I still do yoga at home (not COVID related) but, because my teacher lives across the country ☺️ I took your backbending workshop today! It was amazing! So many things for me to incorporate into my practice 🙏 Sending an abundance of love from California!
Thanks! I graduated in hatha but I love Ashtanga. Always wanted to practice and learn more... I lack discipline tho 😰😣 thanks for the video, I hope I can start practicing ashtanga more after watching this ❤️😊
Thank you for the practice! :) This is my first time trying Ashtanga yoga and it is interesting how different it feels from other types of yoga. I like it! It is much more difficult & I'd like to get better at it. :) Thanks again!
Thank you Kino for these classes and for sharing them. I sometimes forget the gazing points during the practice. Could you please call out the drisdhis for each posture during the guided practice video? Namaste and sending you love.
Очень понравилось сопровождение словесное Кино. Очень много взяла для себя нового в развитии вкуса к движениям в каждой асане. хочу на курс к Вам вкус развить
Thank you so much for these videos! I've been practicing Ashtanga daily now, and my hamstrings are getting looser but the front of my thighs are getting really tight. Any chance you could do a yin practice with focus on front of the thighs? I really only know a few stretches but they hurt too much for me to hold them
Hey Kino! I have done the 75 and 90 min practices here on UA-cam. Wondering what is more challenging to stretch out the breath and go slower or to move faster, what do you think? Or does it depend on the student? I always wonder about this question..... I definetely enjoy more going slower, and I can feel more benefit after the practice always when I do that.... Thank you.
Thank you Kino for the class! I'm grateful that I'm able to start my weekly practice with you every week, especially during this hard time. Two quick questions: how long did it take you to fully integrate all of the vinyasas (each side during seated) into your practice? How long did it take you to do the vinyasas with jump backs and jump throughs? My teacher recently gave me the go-ahead to practice the full primary, and whenever I do all of the vinyasas with jump throughs and jump backs, I don't have enough energy to do the arm balances. Any tips? Thank you so much!! Looking forward to next week :)
Thank you so much , I love how you keep the attention on the strong pelvic floor .I personally need that reminder. Do you have any video's specifically for that ?
We all need extra awareness there! I have an online workshop on breath and bandha which is all about the connection to the pelvic floor. It’s on my website :)
Question: In Marichyasana D at 46:46 and 47:35, how does he manage that his arm is not slipping away from the knee? His skin is visibly sweaty at this point, but he doesn't need a towel or anything. So how is it done? I am constantly failing at this point without knowing why or what could be done.
Thank you so much for this videos! Due to time difference I'm not able to do this in real time, but always practicing after :) I'm curious if you planning on doing maybe second series video? It would be really helpful. Send you lots of love and greetings ❤
Thank you for this video! If i wanted to add simhasana into the practice where would you suggest? After Sirsasana? or maybe before Baddha Padmasana? Thank you!
Still hoping someone somewhere creates a *constant tempo* primary video to vibe to! It's so distracting when the breath counts are random! So maybe a sequencer(music computer) playing breaths so that it fits maybe 90 minutes for the full 1000 breaths? This means learning how many breaths after involved in each of the transitions...
The sad fact is that if you have an online presence you will face attacks. It does not reflect in any way on the type of person you are. Put it this way, there are people who behave horribly who are celebrated online. That doesn’t those people behavior right, and it doesn’t mean those derisive comments about you are either. To put it bluntly, a lot of ppl are ***holes. And being online allows them to be so anonymously. Look at how many people have benefitted from your teachings, from your practice. And these are people who are actually connected to you through their yoga and yours. They matter more than these anonymous online trolls. And of course the people in your life: your friends and family matter most. You bring light to them, and vice versa, and their attitude towards you matter. Be strong, and keep being you.
hello kino! i was practicing and noticed during supta padangusthasana, the leg extended on floor...joseph’s feet on both sides are not flexed but pointed. does this matter?
Totally understand. I’m working with UA-cam to edit the midroll ads. Meanwhile this video is on www.omstars.com where you can practice along commercial to it and over 3000 other classes (plus free weekly live classes!)
kino, I normally love all of your classes.... but this one you took so long counting.... I feel bad for that guy. and you can hear all the mouth noises drinking water at the end, etc.... 😅

I'm enjoying all these different Primary practices - even if they're hard for me, but thank goodness for the 'pause' button 😄 Thank you Kino, Namaste 🙏 🕉
We all agree that primary is hard. We just keep practicing
Thank you!! I started Ashtanga this week at a yoga center in Louisville and this is helping me practice so I don't need as much guidance from the teacher.
Yoga is not an exercise
Its a philosophical alignment to the universe
What a beautiful comment 👍

I think it’s more challenging to slow down and work really deeply and thoroughly, but it does depend on the student
Thank you Kino for the class! I'm grateful that I'm able to start my weekly practice with you every week, especially during this hard time.

ممکنه به من بگویید که دعایی که قبل از شروع یوگا میخونید به چه زبانی است؟
Why the odd singing voice to speak words that get higher pitch at the end?
hello kino! i was practicing and noticed during supta padangusthasana, the leg extended on floor...joseph’s feet on both sides are not flexed but pointed. does this matter?
If possible point the foot, but if you feel better with it flexed then always listen to your body
You sing the routine and breaths like Pattabhi Jois did
It's hard to keep the flow going when there's an ad every 5 minutes.

🐤🐣🐥🐧🐦🐓🐔🐹
Why do all Ashtanga teachers count with an Indian accent? Especially when hit that number 3.
would be great, but ads every 5 mins. stopped after 10 mins
