Hi Kino! I hope this comment finds you well. I want to let you know that I have never felt more amazed by the quote "Practice and all is coming" of Sri K. Patthabi Jois. Thanks to your videos (and my determination 😅), I have started to be able to put both of my legs behind my head (not at the same time, but still is really something for me). Also, I started to make the jumps through from above (like lowering down from handstand pike) the way you do it! And when I started practicing I couldn't even lift myself up of the floor!! So thanks a lot for being a great support to all of us who can't afford a teacher! 💖💖🌌🌌🙏😇
Great lesson! Please, upload some more videos like that, almost an hour's duration and in a class. It is great for my practice at home!Thank you so much Kino. You inspire me!
Yey! This is so awesome! I totally forgot that we were filmed at your workshop. It's a precious memory for me and I am happy that now I can relive it through this video. Thank you, Kino! You rock ;)
I practiced with this video this morning and god was it tough!!?? Especially the Navasana 5 repeatitions!! Core burning like on fire!! Phew!! Almost gave up midway! :P
You are so funny and light hearted! Of course your instruction is great, but your personality really shines through and you had me laughing. I will definitely follow along with this class repeatedly in future
Thank you so much for recording and uploading this video! This came at a perfect time because I will miss my Ashtanga class today! =) I am really grateful for your free classes, especially this one. I consider you my teacher, even though I rarely see you in person. I hope to be able to see you again next year somewhere in Europe. Namaste.
That class is so crowded but great practice thanks for uploading. I don't like going to yoga class my ego gets in the way snd I feel like I have to do my best because others r watching and I feel pressured so I only do practices alone and on youtube
Hi , Your explanation is very good. Am huge fan of you. Have one doubt like, could We repeat this 1:23 mnts sequence of series as port of daily practice. Please could you share your suggestions.
Fashion Perk in addition to yoga there are other forms of flexibility training that you may find helpful. For instance, Kino sometimes works with a circus trainer. Here is a good resource: reddit.com/r/flexibility/comments/2j8sup/dont_know_where_to_start_click_here/
Yes it means they stop at Navasana (boat pose), skip the rest of the primary series and go directly to back bending and the finishing sequence. Each Ashtanga practice consists of sun salutations A&B, the fundamental standing poses (forward fold and the triangles) then comes a series of poses, either the primary, or the secondary series etc, then after that, no matter which series you did, there is back bending and the finishing sequence. Took me a while to get this since my first teacher never told me about that scheme. =) Hope this is helpful.
I'm trying not get angry inbetween her voice her tone and the bad accent sha has at sanskrit .Also her voice is trembling . Also the opening Om and her chanting is frightening ....in sanskrit 1/3 goes out and 2/3 stay as vibrations in the body .
Doing this 5 days a week for 5 months from zero head stand I learned to do head stand. Thank you Kino!

why no primary series for your videos?
Excellent video, nice work to all, thanks for sharing!
Impossible to follow this class now because of the interruptive advertisements throughout. A pity.
What’s with the ads during??
They're called Ads
why is the half primary series an hour and a half but the full primary series is an hour and 45 min??? I'm confused

I love this one! Kino is extra sweet
Kino, what does a half primary series mean? Are some poses omitted in such a class?
Yes it means they stop at Navasana (boat pose), skip the rest of the primary series and go directly to back bending and the finishing sequence. Each Ashtanga practice consists of sun salutations A&B, the fundamental standing poses (forward fold and the triangles) then comes a series of poses, either the primary, or the secondary series etc, then after that, no matter which series you did, there is back bending and the finishing sequence.
