Story 1: you're extremely lucky that she's not very bright. Inheritance assests aren't awarded in the outcome of a divorce. She doesn't even need a prenuptial agreement but, by asking for one once she obtained "assets," her true colors were shown. Do not enter a marriage with her without a prenuptial agreement.
Not a American here but can you explain to me what a prenup is ?

Signing a one sided pre-nup is giving the other party a complete license to screw you over! 😠

Fun fact: many states have premarital asset protections during divorce. Any assets obtained prior to marriage are safe during divorce. Only marital assets can be legally split in my state. In other words check the laws in your state and see what is considered in a divorce.
Story 1 HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE RED FLAG. Take your assets and get rid of her cause she is clearly greedy and selfish. She wants what hers protected and wants to take whatever is yours with you having no way to protect it.
If a woman refuses a prenup, she wants the option of divorce and taking at least half of everything you have.

Story 1, the divorce rate is 50% and no one ever plans to divorce when they marry but people change. Hope for the best but plan for the worst. She just wants his stuff and doesn’t want him to have her stuff. Dump her. Anyone not willing to sign it will take everything from you. Protect yourself. It’s not a trust issue or a plan to divorce, it’s reality. Many people don’t make it.
What most women fail to realise a prenup is like life insurance. You dont get that expecting to be in an accident or die early you get it as a safty net. This is why it’s true men think logically while woman think emotionally thinking that you get a prenup means you don’t fully care for here and expect things to end in divorce. Best way for the world to work would be mandatory prenup signed to allow a wedding to commence. After all you can’t open businesses without insurances you can’t drive cars without insurance. So a prenup should be considered the insurance for couples getting married. You need it to make any unforeseen divorce proceedings fair and quick.
first story - OP, I am so sorry but it's time to call this relationship a day. Look at it this way. OP makes 250K, and fiancé makes 65K. Even if both sign the prenups, the fiancé is still going to come out ahead in a divorce because OP makes FOUR TIMES MORE than the fiancé. OP will lose most of everything post-prenup and will most likely pay a hefty alimony due to the income discrepancy. The fiancé never planned on inheriting her grandmother's entire estate and it showed her true colors (and in my opinion, true intentions).
Story #5 Beth has every right to be buried by her 1st husband who was killed in an accident. Matt has no say because they are divorced. Mom needs to protect the feelings of her daughter and not listen to someone who is no longer family. Mom, step up. Matt back off.

If he is that negative about everywhere they want outside of the USA, i know i would want to go alone as well. I very highly doubt that the OP is going to go to France just to "have fun on the side". The extra family drama is rather unwarranted here too... they all need to stay out of this. I say just go to France for a week or so and enjoy it there.
250k income dependent on where it comes from. If he’s smart he should put his stuff in a trust fund instead of any natural person. As money can be taken away from natural person that easily.
A good income should be an 8 figure salary. 6 figures or 5 figures are simply unsustainable. $43,000,000 is a good yearly salary

There is no option for you to sign hers alone. Personally, I would go with Option 3 as she has shown her true colours already. She doesn't respect you and sees you as her provider. If you were to ever lose your income, she would be gone faster than a rat off a sinking ship.

story 4 - I don't understand how people can be so greedy to expect their ex to pay child support to others' children. Would the OP's ex-wife pay child support if it was the other way round ? 100% it is due to greed since the ex-wife didn't even know OP had already planned the money in advance.

Not one another, not kids, not duty to the relationship, but an external experience you pay for... Her second husband is the one I grew up calling my grandfather and I love him but I respect my grandmothers wishes. Last story: I beg to differ, the husband ran crying to his Mommy when she did not cancel her vacation. What kind of behaviour is that? And if he does not trust her to be on vacation alone (which was not said anywhere in the story) then that is on him not her, not trusting your partner without any signs for infidelity is very bad. And whoever would want to cheat does not have to travel and pay money to do it, they can do it right at home.
The story sounds like the husband is someone who does not like to compromise and do things differently every now and then just for the enjoyment of his partner. Sometimes in life we have to do things that we don't enjoy a 100% to make the ones we love happy.
A solution for the future might be to either spending two weeks of the vacation like he wants and two like she wants, or alternating years, one year using the vacation for traveling the US and one year the world.
As for this time she should go on her vacation, it would not kill him to be without her for two weeks. Mommy dearest could take care of him and babysit him until she comes back.
