Are they with the same guy that guides this one?
This was excellent. Really well balanced and easy to follow and find the stillness. Liked and subscribed and saved to my meditation playlist. Thank you.
When he says, "release all focus", and I haven't been focusing, so I start focusing 👍
Glad I’m not the only one 😂
Me😂
Omg im not the only one
I keep falling asleep and then he gently wakes me up, 😂
Lol
I felt so guilty every time I was called out because every single time my mind was wandering. Then he told me not to judge those thoughts because judging is thinking. Well goddamn.
Same.. I was judging too
God had nothing to do with it, you need to delete that program or whatever is making you say that, that’s bad karma, putting down god , speaking that out into the universe does nothing for you but bring back that energy you put forth. Happy travels!
@@crimsoncollective that person may not be religious or have the same beliefs as you. don't push your views onto them
@@crimsoncollective its not "bad karma" to say "goddamn". first of all, that's not how karma works, second, not everyone believes in what you do, and also, you can't "put down god" lol. if he is the source of all, you think god can be "put down" or even materializes as a mere HE or a SHE. jeeeeez jfc. stop.
Agree!
I love this session because the speaker understands the exact attention span of the user. The moment my mind wanders, the speaker tells that it’s normal but bring it back to the breathing. Love the understanding and the synchronisation with the audiences’ mind. Thankyou.
Your comment helped me push play! Turns out, this is exactly what I need to help me keep focused! 😉
How did u focus on natural breathing
I mean it way too difficult
I couldn't

Omg me too! This comment is exactly what I was gonna write
I agree 100% , the attention span needed was perfect !
This was great, I like the lack of music and the voice is very soft and not distracting at all. Thank you
Thanks!
Me too
i agree, music is so overused in meditation
@@DeclutterTheMind you made an outstanding video
There is literally no music in this video Jack ###
This 10 minutes was the best 10 minutes I’ve had in a long time. 🥰
Exactly!
So calming
Also the longest too 😊😆😅😅😅
Right? This world is so distracting that I forget sometimes how unbelievably good it feels to slow down and be present to one thing at a time.
I didn’t even notice it go by
The first time I meditated after a month. July 2, 2020. I can do this. It's ok. I'm okay. Everything is going to be okay.
You're okay
I’m proud of you
Yes. You can do this.
What's so proud in this?
How's it going? I hope you're doing fantastic!
I do this each morning before studying and it helps me stay focused on what I'm doing throughout the day. Thank you!
Throughout the day?! Please tell me that wasn't an exaggeration because I have ADHD and am desperate right now!

Doing this I started to realise how shallow my natural breathing is. This made me wonder: does anyone else get more anxious (and even a bit desperate) when doing meditations that require you to focus on your breath? I always get the feeling that I'm suffocating, my heart starts pounding and I start to feel really eager to just stop. I don't know if it's related to the shallow breath thing or if it's my mind playing tricks on me whenever I try to be still, I just know it's absolutely horrid.
joyful journey yes I definitely feel this way! This always used to fuel my anxiety because people would just tell me to take deep breaths and that always stressed me out more’
I'm so sorry for you! Meditation should actually calm you down, I think you should slow it down a little and don't take this deep breaths when they tell you to do in the meditation - it would maybe help you when you take in the next meditation only one deep breath and as often you practise you can do more breaths when you feel comfortable and your body geta used to it! Also you can do 'meditation travels' where you just have to listen and feel relaxed, there are no breath technices required :)
Meditation, especially such that's supposed to make you feel "calm" and "still" just makes me more jittery and annoyed. So I see how it can make someone anxious :( I don't know how people actually get relaxed with it, it's quite an unpleasant experience
Hello ! this is because your missing the most important concept in meditation: Do not judge!. Focus on what the speaker says without judging, so in your case, you are judging your breath: My breath is shallow, im suffocating, etc. Just feel the breath as it is. One more thing is that the natural breath is shallow. If you do not force your breath, it is very natural to be shallow! :)
Abbabb12 Abb I second that! I know my breathing is not that great , and I have gone down that path of feeling anxious because of my breath. One thing that has helped me is just reminding myself that I am surrendering to the experience, regardless of what I think of it
This is helpful. I never noticed how often my mind races to other worlds. Thank you.
That recognition is the first step. You are welcome!
Don’t give up! I’ve only started meditating for a few months now, and at first it was difficult to focus , but now when he starts asking “if your mind is wandering to bring your attention back” I notice how good my focus is actually getting because my mind didn’t wander the whole 10 minutes! Of course as I go on I’ll try and do 30 minutes eventually an hour, but progress is slow and steady!
Let’s gooo man !! That’s the way to go keep pushing it
Imma go ahead and say, for people with anxiety, meditation is so very healthy for both mind and body. Often times i find myself beating myself up when I look in the mirror or in my head when I'm at social outings. Meditation allows the mind to release and relax helping you to separate yourself from stressful thoughts and view them clearly. This meditation was so peaceful and I plan on coming back here again and again.
i guess there are two things to do to stop overthinking: distraction with something so hard that you cant focus on the overthinking (difficult multiplication, singing a song, saying the alphabet backwards), or meditation. Nothing else works because the first thing i try to do is rationalize with myself. but you can't beat the monkey mind. it's too strong.
I really like the fact that there is no talk about focusing, just practice, self observation, much closer to silent meditation but with a voice guiding back
I feel limitless for a millisecond when this meditation ends. Love it
Trying to complete really important paperwork and there’s a dog constantly barking around the corner very loud.. hoping this works **update: it worked amazingly! I completed a lot more paperwork than usual and was able to think clearly and feel relaxed and not rushed!** thank you Declutter the mind!
I like that this guided meditation has a very normal voice. Some meditations have that breathy, vocal fry type voice, but I prefer the frankness of something like this. Thanks for the meditation!!
not gonna lie this is the most effective 10 min meditation i’ve ever done. the fact that there was ease, no big intentions/high expectations, no distracting music. my mind feels centered:)
Wow! This is one of the best "quick" meditations I've experienced. I was totally relaxed after taking ten minutes to allow myself to let go and focus on my breathing. Thank you!
(Imposter imperceptible) I agree that the church is a little bit more than a few other people but I think I’m going to be able to get it to work on the church or after church or do I need to get a hold of them or do I need to be there in the morning office...............##################################
I needed a short meditation before transition from work to studying and this was so helpful! It gave me a quick reset which was much needed. Thank you :)
Okay lemme make it clear! If you are feeling stressed or anxious just go through this. Make your mind before you start the video that right now while playing the play button you are relaxed and you can do what you want! Hope this comment works. Great video bcz helped me alot!
Thank you for this, I am 51 years old doing a career change into IT/Cyber security, studying an online at home program for 6 months (which is mildly agonizing at times). This session has been perfect as the final step in my morning routine to get my brain relaxed and focused to begin studying. I've been watching this video for 2 months now about 5 day a week, 10 mins is the perfect amount of time to focus for me, any longer and my mind starts to fight for distraction.
yeahh, just so you know you're not alone. So I'm a student who's lately always distracted, so very absent minded and overwhelmed with constant internal thoughts. I'm always confused and in conflicts with my own decisions. And it's really affecting my studies for the worst. I hope this meditation works out positively.
I feel different after finishing. My mind is clearer and I feel happier. Will keep doing this every day. Thank you
During the final minute , the part where we have to release all focus and allow our mind to do whatever and at the moment my mind was actually quite , when we focus our mind or force our the mind to focus our mind can’t stop talking but when we are relax and let loose we are into deeper awareness 😊,, it was such a great transformation for me ,, thank you for made me realise we can’t stop the mind by focus but by awareness and relaxation
great meditation video, love it!
Thanks for all the feedback and comments! If we made you feel good at the end of this practice, just know your feedback and appreciation makes us feel great! If you didn't enjoy the practice, we still want to hear from you, too! Please let us know how you felt at the end of this practice :)
The first time I meditated, last week. My head began to hutch for three days. I had a pressure on my forehead it was not fun, peaceful it was a bad experience. Why? I’m very reluctant to meditate ever again and I can’t find the answers I’m looking for in the internet concerning that pain. Will it happen again? How to prevent it? What did I do wrong. And what approach should I take
the talking suddenly stopping & starting again personally kept triggering my panic/stress response
❤🙏
Felt great, centered. Ready to take on the day.
This was really helpful.
@@jamarmartin884 I think it's because you're trying too hard to focus, rather than just breathing and making sure u don't "unfocus" meaning that your mind doesn't drift away. I used to keep saying '"breath in, pause pause pause pause pause, breath out, pause pause pause pause pause" rather than just doing the exercise and getting my focus back on the breathing when it drifts away. The goal is relaxed concentration.
when u said "let your mind wonder", my mind had nowhere to wonder. And i love this cus you knew exactly when i was just totallly distracted.
There are some times that you can tap into another state you feel like you have left reality for just a moment... For me, this meditation has the power to bring that state. Thank you!
I have regularly used this meditation prior to studying for the past couple of months, and I must say it is truly one of my favorite guided meditations on this platform. The lack of background music is perfect for letting my focus sit entirely on my breathing, and the voiceover is a perfect match for this meditation. I will likely continue to use this meditation for many months to come. Thank you for this one.
Love this meditation 🧘♀️. I am now focused enough to read a book without allowing anything to distract me
They ask me to leave a comment, I leave a comment. They absolutely deserve every thing needed to support their channel. They are good people. PERIOD.
Been going through a bad breakup and I'm having a ton of trouble keeping my focus or even just starting work. Went on UA-cam and searched up "deep focus meditation" then found this. Helped me immensely. Found it perfect even. Whenever my mind starts to wander or I worry about doing my breathing incorrectly, the speaker comes in at the right moments to help with it. Thanks! Super helpful!
At the end when he said "noticed how you feel" I started crying
I went back to my videogame addiction and only after this meditation video I realize I was coping, I think the crying was from finally understanding I was hurting from the death of my grandmother and other personal stuff
Thank you
I am a beginner have meditated only a handful of times before. In the last minute when you said "release the focus, let the mind do what it wants" this was something new and I felt something I had never felt before. Thanks for creating this!
the best meditation ever............i have watched it too many times now
My favorite focus meditation on YT
I have ADHD and this is my fav meditation so far to practice attention. Something about the no music, and being allowed time to practice in silence but also the speaker stepping in every few minutes is the perfect combo to let me train the focus but also making sure I don't go completely off the rails for the entire ten minutes! 😅😅
Thank you so much
I was distracted during meditation from few days but I am getting better now
What a session , no unnecessary background music to distract and wander the mind even more than it does , nothing unnecessary, concise , simple and utterly peaceful 🙏
this is the best guided meditation for focus by far
Good morning everyone, no matter who reads this one thing is for sure. You're struggling. Don't see it as a sign of weakness, see it as a right of passage. No one learns anything otherwise. Have a good day, wishing you all strength during the pandemic
I loved that there is no music in this meditation💖
When he said it's okay if your thoughts are distracting i recognised actually my thoughts were wandering but the way he realised the attention span and said that dont judge as judging is also thinking why am I not able to do it properly and rather than doing that focus on what is controllable of what is in your hand that you should bring your focus back on breathing
Amazing experience it was!!!
i LOVE the lack of music. i love the silence he leaves us in between each step
I am so ready for my first day of grad school. Great session!
I added this to my short guided meditation playlist a time ago and it still makes me feel good. Thank you!
that was the fastest 10 minutes ever! this is one of the best guided meditations i’ve done, the lack of music really helps
I was really distracted earlier as I woke up and try to remember my dreams because I don't want to forget it. But as I do this meditation, when my mind actually wandered, I happen to suddenly had some flashback scenarios of my dream that I was forcing myself to recall. I don't know if this meditation has something to do when it comes to remembering but after meditating, I clearly recalled that dream scenario that I was forcing myself to think of earlier. I believe this helped me to focus in remembering, thank you! 🤍 Will definitely listen to this on a regular basis.
Oh, by the way, I'm a newbie. It's just my 2nd time doing a meditation on my own, I'm glad that I've accidentally clicked on your channel when I was looking for my first meditation. Great thing that I decided to stick on this channel.
I love to do this before a study session. And even in the session when i feel like losing focus. Thank you. It really helps.
I prefer the guidance here because the pauses are not so long and I don't have time to get into some of my super fantasies or reviewing the day's most interesting conversations. His voice is calming but not in an artificial way, but rather in a straight forward, realistic way of speaking. He is vocabulary is clear and simple too which I like. Meditation is simple (in theory) but very difficult to sustain and you have to hard work to improve your meditation.
Nice and chill meditation vid to start the day!!!
This guided meditation couldn't be more helpful. So simple, so efficient, so undistracting.
This was a mental massage, just what I needed. The bit at the end, to ‘let the mind do what it wants’ made a world of difference to me. Will be using the techniques mentioned here for sure!
I love how this meditation guide session knows when my mind starts to wander off and brings it back normally and understands. Im going to use this session for morning meditation before I study.
Great focus meditation - thank you!
I did this to get me focused on applying for a job I've been putting off....worked like a charm. I still didn't WANT to apply, but I found it MUCH easier to just get up and do it. I know I need to.
Been doing this on breaks during an open book exam and it really helped me focus! thanks heaps 🥰
I was feeling overwhelmed with my to do list before the practice, now my head feels more open and different sensation around my head. Thank you so much for the practice.
Thank you so much for this guided meditation. I am so grateful to you.
I am much more calm after this session. Decluttering the mind has definitely worked cause my MIND who is always running on thoughts, even when my boss is talking, hasn't thought of anything. It was just BLANK. Till I got to the idea of writing this comment. Thank you, I will make sure to do this every morning.
Whew I cried some tears during my meditation it was nice though.. it was when I had to count each breath inhale (1) exhale (2) inhale (3) and so on until I got to 10. And around 8,9,10 I felt it and stayed in the meditation until I did it 3 times it was very helpful a release and more understanding will be gathered through my day.
Thank You.
this was amazing. i liked how when you started talking again, you started off soft as to not scare the listener
This has helped me with focusing and concentrating when I goof off
I’ll be here again tomorrow. I believe it will help me train my focus
This mediation put me in a zone. I felt great after completing it.
It's literally amazing, what a beneficial 10 mins I spent here. ThankYou.
My head feels quiet for the first time in a long while
Thank you
It was incredible. I totally surprised that 10 minutes was already over
Glad I came across this practice. I highly recommend this meditation for those who have had challenges 'focusing. I find it beneficial and can help you to be more mindful and intentional.
This is very well done. It is hard to find guided meditations that include a lot of quiet spaces between directives. This is essential for me. The lack of white noise in the background if another thing that is rare in these guided meditations. Great way to start my day. thank you 🙏🏽
I have a really hard time staying focused on pretty much anything. I get distracted very easily. As I listened to this session the speaker's voice was calm and soothing. Every time my brain started to wander he somehow sensed it and reminded me to return my focus to my breathing. I come from a very mentally abusive home that constantly fueled me with anger. Listening to the speaker helped me listen to not only my breathing but the pain within me and helped me focus on just that so I could isolate it and then neutralize it. Thank you whoever's the speaker is for helping me out in this session and know I look forward to attending to more in the future.
Hope things get better for you.
This 10 min video really makes you realize how unfocused you are and have self-realization for improvement. Thanks a lot.
Loved this it was short sweet and straight to the point
Literally helping me sort my life out, much appreicated. A lot of people dont realise the importance of mental health. It's a shame.
Glad it helped and couldn't agree more! Thanks
I meditated using this video and I am feeling not at all anxious about about. Stress relieved and now, I am getting back to work.
Whoa. When the guide said let go of all focus and so I did my mind went all over the place with many thoughts. I've never been aware of this withing myself. Crazy.
This meditation session feels so good. Prepares me perfectly for a creative/productive day. Thank you for creating this. More music on the way 💫🌎
This meditation was amazing! It really allowed me to focus and the speaker is calm and gives time for people to relax and focus. Thank you!
Need this. First day back and I'm prioritizing it, my life has been getting me down and this is the only way I know to control my restless mind.
thanks, my focus was shot since i was on tiktok but now I'm ready to do my school work
That was AWESOME! Once you said “let the mind do what it wants” I was in thoughtless meditation from just relaxing after so much focus. Well done!
I really liked this meditation a lot. It is quick and quite effective. I am going to come here everyday from now on to improve my focus and concentration.
Just did this twice on a day where I have a very important test. It was recommended by me to try guided meditation by my girlfriend. I never thought I could meditate cause I could never focus, but here I am doing it. Thank you.
I love this session, because rather than putting background sounds, you will hear your own background noise. It creates peace.
This really helps calm the mind! I've been doing this meditation for a while now, and it really helps out. Thanks!❤
First meditation I have really been able to focus and stop my mind wandering.
Actually felt very calm and focused after this. Thank you
Great tool for beginners on the journey of focus and mindfulness. Saved it!
Nice and simple meditation before i study, now im focased and relaxed thank you
I've always felt that 10 minutes is less.. bc i think i waste it but... this really helped 😃 these 10 minutes felt like 30 minutes but it felt refreshing 😊😊
4th time of me completing meditation using this video!
when he says release all focus and let your mind wander, my mind was literally empty like i was so concentrated, my mind got rid of all noises in my head that were distracting me! love this!! ❤️
This was really helpful I was able to focus more.
Awesome Andrea!
Loved this meditation!! It was so nice to feel though i was just a passer by, watching the traffic as it passes, enjoying the scene for what it is. Feeling motivated to start my creative practice now, thank you!
Ah I like that analogy! I might borrow that in a future meditation if you don't mind. Watching traffic go by is a brilliant way to put it.
Wow, my head feels clear. By the time he said NOT to focus, I was fully focused. Amazing!
This really makes me aware of how busy and noisy my mind is. Controlling the distractions is very difficult but getting better. Oddly, when I'm told at the end to stop focusing and let my mind do what it wants, that's when I suddenly find I get fewest distracting thoughts.
Thank you! Simple doesn’t mean easy and this was great. All the best.
Thanks!
This is the best meditation I have used I felt soooo relaxed
I felt very successful doing this...not too much mind wandering! I think 10 or so minutes is about my max.
