I'm not watching yous long loving your videos. I do watch a lot of channels very similar to yourselfs. Last night I watched one were you spoken about fire safety and was thinking the whole way through listening to you both, all the utubers I watch build outside kitchens the frames made from wood also wodden barns / sheads and some have wood storage along the sides of their houses besides fire safety think anyone who lives in Portugal or looks at a lot of utubers in Portugal knows that wood beetles are a problem and it's a no no to store wood along / near your house if the beetles got into the house. The question I have if people are supposed to be fireproofing their homes and land would wooden frames building not be a no no. I really interested and am learning so much from these channels. Another couple I watch in Central Portugal said by law they have to take all wooden beams out of the home they are renovation put a concrete roof in basically fireproofing the whole house. And yet others living in central Portugal don't have to do it or are not doing the same.
I really love these channels especially the growing / gardening parts.
The laws differ from one parish to another 😀 but if this other channel has a place where the fire danger is very high, then the laws will be stricter

Will do! I have been missing out on watching regularly.The last 5 weeks have been really busy at work, with long days. Once I switched off my work laptop, my eyes couldn't take much more screen time. I am gradually catching up 😃

To bad about the mother beam, but like Luke said... in a way it was a good thing he accidentally broke the beam. Otherwise it would have been a disaster afterwards 😱 Timmy is quite an acrobat 😅 that he doesn't hurts his tiny paws on those wires.... and Molly as usual...a real diva in front of the camera ❤ I can imagine she was trying to steal the show, when the secret camera crew was there hay 😅 your strawberries are good taking care of Sarah 👍 see you guys

Hi Sarah. Your garden looks very lush still, and productive. Did you start it from scratch? And how many years going? Also, do you ‘cure’ your sweet potatoes? I’ve seen videos that tell to do so, and it sounds complicated. Thank you for the video.
Hi Tamar.. we didn't bother curing them because we didn't have a big harvest. Curing them extends their shelf life considerably apparently but we ve never done it.
@@lukeandsarahsoffgridlife. Ok. I didn’t cure Mine last year either. They seemed fine, but didn’t re-sprout in the spring!
