OK this one sparks the imagination. No holes in the boat , differential thrust steering, and recreational boat swapping ability at the beach. The ability to add power from a different battery. The ability to flip the drive arms up for cleaning out debris or just to decrease drag when paddling/pedaling. What is the time the battery will last. How fast will it go on a full size kayak? How control-able is the speed? Will another battery just extend time or can it also add speed? A controller that is not water proof is a red flag. I guess you could put it in a zip lock bag just for safety sake. Good concept. Good video. Hmmm $800 for basic system without battery. From their site.
@@AliexFolgueira By the way I've seen those motor shafts vibrating when underway, I'd say that the shafts have a very good chance of fracturing if they strike an underwater obstacle. You generally don't have to worry about that with a Minn Kota, or Motorguide, electric trolling motor since they have tough composite motor shafts. I've personally owned Minn Kota trolling motors for over 36 years, and have never had a single problem.
You can raise each shaft and lock in place when you are in shallow water. Then you have no worries because the props are pretty well at the same depth as the bottom of your kayak.
Aliex can we see this on a Old Town PDL106? I think this guy can be on to something great here🤔. Good work fellas 😎 🤝🏼. Thanks for sharing and until the next one ✌🏼Aliex.
I will definitely buy one if it has an anchor button . Very interesting. Thanks for sharing this video

Looks like a good fit for my pelican castaway
My motor is just about on it's way to me!! I can't wait.
That's awesome ! Congratulations
ALIEX como te pareció y servirá para mi native titan 10
im gonna try it on the 106 PDL soon, ese test nos dira como trabaja
Only thing I don’t like about these is smacking into stuff and potentially having the arms break.
Great little throw and go motor system though!
it is attached by straps so most likely it give way or break the straps

It looks like it’s on top of your anchor trolley. That could be a problem.
I'm thinking if you are moving along and all of a sudden it becomes shallow or there is obstruction underwater it will destroy this thing
@ThePhrozenOne it needs some kind of breakaway that let's it move when hit hard
Great idea
It is! Love it in combination with my bixpy
