good video but for 799.99, I don't see the value in this product. Spend a little more and get a bixpy or spend a little less and use a trolling motor. Good showcase any how.

@Trance T okay there you have a point. If your kayak doesn't have a rudder system then this could be for you.
I think this would be advantageous if you were fishing rivers, or have multiple boats. I could put this on my commander, ck1, or big water 132. I think m that is a huge value eliminating all the mounting hardware needed to outfit different boats.
Try accessing that Bixby all the way in the back when it gets covered in weed and slop! This can be mounted right behind the seat and easily accessible to clear jams and to also raise and lower easily. This system is far more versatile from anything else I've seen. Can't wait for mine to get here in June.

@@AliexFolgueira I noticed you installed it on a sit-inside. My speed on my Coosa was a bit less than 3 mph using my battery. Were you using the battery they sell with it? I am working on a hack to mount it to my utility tracks to avoid having the strap around the bottom that interferes with the anchor trolley and might catch on something.
Hello Aliex, Does this works with a Tandem Kayak? How will affect the speed in a Tandem Kayak?
It works with any kayak and obviously the more weight it has to push the slower it will go.

How wide of a boat can they be used on? Can I use this on a 48" wide Jon boat? .
From what I can tell, likely not and I wouldn't want too. A regular trolling motor way better for a jon boat where you can use a regular battery and trolling motor for a much cheaper setup.
Would we need to register our kayak with this motor or the bixby?
Most places require any motorized boat to be registered unless it's only used on private lakes.
