I'm impressed! this kayak is impressive and it does even better on the water, video coming soon want to buy a Old Town Loon 126? use my affiliate link at Ecofishing geni.us/ltOGbk
Found one of these a few summers ago, used. Loved it so much I bought another identical 126 for a friend, used. I have two Hullavators on my ride, because this IS a heavy rig - catalog says 57lb. This boat is so stable that I don't think I could tip it if I tried. I go on big windy lakes in this no problem, and deep rivers.
@@AliexFolgueira My man, YT does not care about people making content or being active in the community, and sometimes, it honestly seems random for channels not getting "the push." A 300-view video is a banger for me on my channel. My 16,000+ view Garmin review is one of my least favorite videos I have made, and yet it is promoted in the top 5 videos when you search for Garmin's Striker Plus 7SV . Nothing special about it at all. Then I have videos I put days into editing, and I am really proud of. UA-cam then doesn't even show the video when I search for it by title and filter upload options. I got 46 views in two days, almost all from subscribers. Quoting Alfred Montaner - it was a real chit show. Unfortunately, the only thing to do is to persevere, modify expectations, or give up. I am honestly surprised this hasn't become your full-time job. I know it's not your channel's focus or likely a goal, but you know so much about kayaks and fishing; ever considered maybe doing charters or even your own kayak shop? You would probably crush it and have the affiliates already to make something special. Remember, bud, you just had another video pass 1,000,000. It happens, but it is rare. No matter what UA-cam hamster in a running wheel generates, you have done great things over here, and I think you will continue to do them.
@@AliexFolgueira I hear you. I know I enjoy your content and conversations. I also know that doesn't pay the bills, but you have a really good channel.
Great video man. Appreciate all the hard work. I’m looking for a secondary kayak for those calmer situations instead of hauling big one around all the time.
Im looking to get another Yak and was considering a "Hybrid" due to its lighter weight and weight capacity, but this review (and the other one) is making me put the Loon on my list of Yaks to look harder at! Thanks for the review!!!
Thanks for the vid. We are trying to decide betw Loon and the Pungo... I just saw a review that said the Loon is VERY unstable in wind. Can you give any feedback on that aspect?
The long 120 is long, and you sit low, I don't think you will have a issue with the wind as long as you have some kayaking experience. I didn't have a problem with its stability
I'm on the fence myself between these three. The ext 123 and loon126 looks like a toss up to me. I might have to flip a coin on it to see which one I'll get.😂👍
If I am not mistaken the Loon is the only of the three made from 3 layer polylink 3 and the most durable material. Looked at the Pungo but chose the Loon,
I think they make an air bladder for the front of the Loon. I remember I was looking at the Loon or the Ultimate 12 from Native and ended up with the Stingray
How did you get the anchor setup? I recently bought this kayak and do not know how the anchor system works. If you could do a tutorial video on how you set it up that would be amazing as not a single other one exists on UA-cam
@@stockboy87 thank you! I think I have 4 videos on the loon, if you search "Aliex loon 126" they should show up, I also have a second channel that will be all about kayak review only @aliexkayaktest

Great to hear you're loving the kayak cooler Aliex! Thanks for the shout out. Looking forward to your thoughts on the heavy duty kayak cart too.
soon! thanks for sending the cooler
You are right! I cannot go through waterlily like that with my electric motor canoe. I think I may finally buy one of these tomorrow here in Maine.
Another awesome video! Looking forward to the exclusive fishing video & seeing you stand up in it.
That's gonna be a chitshow but that's what we do here haha
Watching that kayak glide through the Lilly pads was impressive
Yup it is a piece of really great art! Yooo let me know what you think about my rant at the end

A sit in can handle big water . Most open water kayaks are sit in .
Lol 😂
Love to see this kayak. You got my thinking.
It is a nice one

Ok, I've never seen a demonstration where someone used the roller on the side of the car. Looked so easy.
I'm going to order the same but in camo color on the 106 Angler

My friend between loon 126. , pungo 125 and Ex 123. which is the best in your wise experience.
I haven't try the others but from what I can see the loon since to have an edge
get the loon if you want to mostly paddle with a bit of fishing here and there, get the ex 123 if you plan on fishing a lot or standing up.

Great review, thanks!
