Best video yet. Love the personality in this one.
Thanks! Kim helps bring it out on camera!
I thought I would have helped you get killed down to normal when she 1st started out. She was nervous of tight update and she was trying her best to learn all the gadgets around that wants to be so bad of a pilot. You're trying to explain physically like you do and I'm glad. You have patience with other guy that transfer is awful young and I don't think too much of him. He's global that's because he kno is everything and the blowner. It's not that quoh 5 but hes got a big spy on his face. Kim is a nice woman. She's a very difficult and you guys encourage her that she's doing good that gives her a boost. And it hurt morale and she won't give up show keypad and trending pro herself and make a good pilot and be someday fine heroic plane
Congrats Jes! All the best
Awesome, love the split screen on landing , very cool.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for another nice flight!! This "ride" sure covered a lot of beautiful scenery. Btw, I totally agree with you about Spruce Creek being a 'Disney World' for pilots!! What an awesome place to live, just being able to take the few steps from your house to your hangar!! This is definitely what you would call a pilot's dreams come true!! Regards, Ernie
Glad you enjoyed it Ernie!
A friend of mine used to live there ,also a professor at Embry. Sold the whole works and bought a live-aboard yacht and now resides in New Smyrna somewhere on the intercostal.
Every weekend at the gun range, just west of SC,we see most of those planes flying in formation heading towards breakfast somewhere. 👍🏻😊
That would be my second choice too!
Wow, awesome video. So many cool airplanes. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Thanks for watching!
Outstanding!
Thanks!
AWESOME Chris!!!
Thanks
Great video and place to flight. Very lively conversation. Kim is very attentive.
Thanks
Great video! Great copilot! See you again!
this was enjoyable to watch after a spring/summer of COVID. thanks for creating it. can't wait for 2021 and beyond.
Glad you enjoyed it. Looking forward to 2021 as well.
Wow, What a great place, thanks for the video!
Thank you for watching

Another great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Nice! Yet another great vid from Mr. BP!
Thanks!
Beautiful place. Went there to visit my Cousin a few years ago.
Thanks for another Great Video
Thanks for watching!
Another great video. Good to see Kim by your side and hope to see plenty more with her joining you in your travels. Would love to live the #AvGeek life and be park of such a community. Fantastic that the fly-in breakfast went so well.
You will see plenty more with her by my side! ;-)
So bummed I missed this. Hope for another one soon
Planning my next one now!
Outstanding place good people what more could you want cheers and thanks for sharing
Not much more!
My sister and hubby live here and loves it. (Skyhawk 172)
Nice video and place to be invited, very lively conversation while attentive to flying the airplane. Kim is very attentive and a good “copilot.”
Thanks! She is great!
Great video, what an amazing place !
Thanks! can't wait to go back!
Now THAT is living! I couldn't even imagine. Seen a few communities like that via UA-cam - never actually seen one in person, though. I can only dream! 😎
Kim's got eagle-eyes! She'd make a great pilot - I can see that happening at some point. 😉👍 Thanks for sharing, Kris - this was great! 🍻
Yes it is. And I completely agree!
Awsome place
Awesome vid, thanks for taking us along!
Thanks for watching
Great Vid!
Thanks!
Great video , and meeting someone from my home country ( Ireland ) is so cool , hope that guy gets his wings and makes the American dream come alive by getting the job and the plane .. Keep it up .. well done , general aviation alive and well ...
I am looking forward to following his progress!
Baron Pilot me too , does he have Insta or a UA-cam or FB page that you know of , ??
Kris, Nice job on the video. Thank you for the time you put into these. Glad to here the engines seem to be putting out good and more power. I have a new one due in, in a couple of weeks myself. I hope I also see a increase in power. Everyone I have talked to said I will notice a difference. Really burning the fuel breaking them in 33 gph.... At least I should only run about a 15 gph burn. But I only have one to deal with. Have a great week end.
Did you go factory or overhauled? I have a video coming out very soon about engine break-in that you may want to watch. 😉
@@BaronPilot Went with a factory rebuild. My core was over 40 years old so I decided the cost different to risk of a overhaul was not in my favor. I will keep a eye out for it. I will be in Alaska for a couple of weeks so not sure how many videos I will be watching but once I get back I will get caught up. Once again thank you for the work you put into these videos. I know it cannot be easy.
That was exactly why I did it and based on my experience, I will choose that option every time! It is a much better deal and no worries about surprises.
I used to work ATC in Maryland (in Arizona now). We had 2 guys, I won't reveal their callsigns, but they departed Georgetown, DE and Salisbury, MD for 7FL6 and I always wanted an inside look.. thank you for that!
So fricken sweet!! Fun fun!!
Glad to see the channel is doing well, love the channel and keep it up.
Thank you and Thanks for watching!
nice camera work, great angles and a really nicely timed cut-on-action edit at 6:18
Yes its very nice there
Awesome video
Thanks!
So cool, thanks!! Shirt ordered ;)
Great video.
Thanks
How cool is that? Every house has an airplane hangar built in. Should be some wild stories up there about flying! Thanks man, for taking us along -- as always your dry sense of humor always keeps it light and your copilot is delightful -- she's a match for you I think. Camera placement was terrific and the editing was sharp. Keep us flying along and I promise if we meet up the espresso is on me!
It was amazing!! Glad you appreciate my humor!! ;-) Hopefully I can take you up on that espresso one day!
Great video!
Thanks!
Good stuff! Great vid!
Thanks!
Great video! I've been following you and P1D for about a year.
Ah you got me disappointed, I read the comment about P1D I half expected the scene of him showing aircraft taxiing around to end with a premier 1 taxi in.
Thanks Eric!! MrJaiimez, Kim and I weren't good enough for ya? LOL
@@BaronPilot No, I never inferred that P1D was at the Breakfast...someone else made that assumption. I'm not even sure that their airstrip is long enough to land the Premier even if Greg did want to come. It's nice that you brought Kim along and got her breakfast.
@@ericecklund676 I know, I was just messing with MrJaiimez ;-)
Great video
Thanks
I almost moved there a year ago..still haven't ruled it out yet. Awesome neighborhood and folks down there!
Ya I really want to move there
Nice video, I’ve looking for a place to park a plane at home and we were curious of what it was like, lol I don’t have a plane YET but will soon. Thanks for the time you spend showing us all what you do
It was so cool. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Awesome place to live! What a dream!
It would be.
Spruce Creek is an amazing place. I was invited there in the early 90’s, to a mutual friend’s home. I’ll never forget walking into his massive “garage” and there sits three airplanes. One was a bi-plane that offered my first aerobatics training. I marveled at residents taxing to the store for milk etc. Wonderful people and saw John Travolta’s airplane (one of them). Great video, that brought back special memories ! 🇺🇸🛫
I have always heard about it but as you know, seeing it in person is so much better!
Baron Pilot Yeah, I had never seen anything like that. Being a newer pilot at the time, I decided that day, I WOULD live in an airport community one day. I’m getting closer, we just signed a long lease on this trailer and we’re just a few miles from a
R/C airfield. We’re thrilled !! 😂🤣
Lovely video. Informative and enjoyable thanks for sharing. I know it takes time money and effort to do these. Cheers from New Zealand.
Glad you enjoyed it and hello New Zealand!!
Two new engines......classy new lady friend….beautiful weather......life is good.
Yes it is!
Nice video! Enjoyed spruce creek.
It’s an awesome place!
Love Spruce Creek
Hard not to!
Awesome
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice VD Chris, give Kim the controls on the way back. She seems to know her stuff. Pretty much a KEEPER for ya buddy.
Oh I plan on keeping her!! ;-)
I have to admit; I had heard of Spruce Creek, but it is "better" in real life! Thanks for the video!
That would seriously be heaven to live in a community like that!
Absolutely
Baron Pilot, a viewer for about a year. The best I can do is fly the Baron E55 and B58 with Lockheed Prepard3d Home Sim. Enjoy your videos and learning about the
Baron. My favorite plane on the Sim. Bet you are happy about the new engines, welcome back. and, thank you very much for your videos. Mike USAF (Ret)
Hi Mike! Thank you for your loyal following!! I am glad you enjoy my videos! I am very happy! But If I could fly I would be on the sim too!!
Disney World for pilots - Love it!
How else do you describe a place like that?
nice video !and just for your information and you can tell her i said this, but the woman in the right seat blows the socks off of the one from along time ago who was always full of flying fear. She seems not only adventurist but very out going makes good conversation and fun to have around and along on your flights.Great choice and you seem very happy with the Barron back and "her along" :]
Thanks & I am very happy!!! And having the Baron back is great too!! ;-)
Great flight, HAZE??? Video I'm editing now has HAZE!!!
Love that Jess is learning and participating.....
Just to clarify, Jess is the one in the back. 😉
@@BaronPilot
Ooooppps....
My BUST!
"KIM"..."KIM"..."KIM"....
I was editing a video and was typing my wife "Janis", so I had "J's" names on my mind, or at least that's my excuse and i'm sticky with it - HA!!
Beautiful hanger homes reminds me of @flightchops visiting Peggy Wagstaff parking right on her ramp.
You mean Patty Wagstaff, or are you talking about the Fabulous Captain Julie Clark?
@@scotabot7826 I am sorry it was the fabulous Julie Clark.
That is amazing! Nothing like that in Australia (I'd love to be proven wrong!).
Hopefully when I visit there I can! LOL
Keep the vids coming, great job and congrats on the new engines! Will you be at Oshkosh this year? Would like to meet you! Andy
I will be there all week. Will be posting meet up time and locations soon.
Okay, that was a great video. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Been too long since I did a $100 breakfast (haha - as if it was really only 100 bucks!) Didn't know about Spruce Creek - it's on the list now. Be a cross country trip for me, though. One of these days......
Worth the trip I promise!
hey i got in touch with kevin and jamie they rock to loving your vlogs keeep it up 75 wiskey out
8:05 "Why were you up late last night?" *Both people smirk ever so slightly*
Geoshua Holsinger You caught that too huh ? 😁
There were a few references to "shenanigans". Does anyone blame him? Haha.
What happened to Lucy?
Rainman Not sure, good question.
There was hijinks methinks...
What an awesome community! I graduated H.S. with a girl who bought a home in Purcell, OK that had it's own runway and hangar just like this neighborhood.... she skydived into our 10th reunion and her husband was right behind her... I asked them if their plane crash landed or what ? lol.... Great video Kristopher. Looked like loads of fun!
I can't think of where that would be. There are a couple of airport communities between Goldsby and Washington Ok.(About 10 miles NW of Purcell). Pacer field and Paradise. Paradise used to have a skydiving business there. You had to really watch for jumpers in that area. I'll keep my eye out for it next time I'm near Purcell.
@@srvafool It was a private residence and airstrip.... I've never seen it, but she told us about it.
SuperDave21 Cool, I’ll keep my eye out for it next time I’m around Purcell. Have a good one SuperDave21!
Sounds like a girl you needed to stay in contact with! LOL
@@BaronPilot Ha, ha.... she was married when they got the home/airstrip/hanger. Since she's divorced and moved to Oregon.
You need to do a cross country (to really break those power plants in) to Napa! KAPC. Let's taste some wine! Thanks for the video.
I hope to get a nice literal cross country in soon.
Those new engines sound nice
YA THEY DO!!! :-)
Awesome video! Now that is living, walk out back door and go fly.
Thanks and yes it is!!
Dang you have a spotter!!! great Videos! keep it up!
Ya I do!! Thanks
Chris great video if your ever in chicago stop by LL10 private strip west of the city.
I will have to check it out
I've seen videos on Spruce Creek before, but now we have the Baron Pilot perspective, cheers! Kim seems like an excellent asset in the cockpit as well as a lovely passenger.
I cannot imagine the UK ever having such a community - we don't have the real estate, nor the airspace I suppose. Neither do I have the finances (or the licence) even if we could have a community like Spruce Creek. :P Heck, I probably wouldn't be granted a virtual invite in FSX LOL
In Aviation everyone is always welcome! All we ask is that you share the passion!!
Funny at 3:30 the ATC says DECLINE & maintain 4K just after TO, I would of had to say, jeez, gimme a chance to get there first. Unless I misheard that is or I’m not getting something.
As always great video. Sorry couldn’t make it, was out of town.
There will be more! ;-)
Morning Mr.Baron.
Morning!
@ 5m4s, is the EGT showing really high on the right engine?
Greetings from PGD. Since I saw your last video you got new Avidynes. What model are they. And you spoke of your glasses cutting through the haze. Do you have a link to them. Yep Spruce creek looks like heaven. All the best neal
I have the IFD550 on top now and there audio panel as well. Love them!! The glasses are Method 7. methodseven.com/sky-overview/
Nice to see 75W working well for you Chris, Also nice to see you competing with 310 pilot with nice looking co-pilot ;) hehehe
Competing with 310?!?! 😂😂😂
Nice
Thank you
Awesomness hahaha
ONE way to keep out the Rif Raf!
Hiya Chris, Kim and most definitely Jess.... she is a hottie!!! Lol. As I see not many say hello to Jess!
That radio stack sure is sexy. What is it? And what about those big tinted sun visors? those are awesome.🛩
New motors? What type?
Avidyne IFD550 on top. Ifd440 on the bottom. Rosen Sun visors and jetshades in the windows.
Continental IO470
You can tell that Kim is much more interested in the flying, and airplanes in general. She's also got a sharp eye to see traffic before you saw it, so good on her.
As much as I want to fly again, the honest answer is I never will, but if I could, I'd love to own a place in somewhere like Spruce Creek. There'a fly in community a few miles from me, but nothing like that.
Besides, I've decided, when I win that lottery, I'm going to buy a 65' catamaran. No medical needed, but sailing is almost as good as flying, isn't it? :) :D :p
I will wait for my invite on that Catamaran!! If I was gonna buy a sailboat, that would be it!!
@@BaronPilot You got it, Kris! You and Kim for a week or so in the Bahamas.
What is the big lens you have on your blue go pro
Just a camera case and filter
wow
Awesome, so when do you move in?? 😬
As soon as I get a big raise! But it is my goal!!
I'm just curious about not using your tail number at a non towered airport, is this not required, I always thought it was?
Prior to ADS-B your tail number didn’t serve a purpose. Plane to plane you aren’t looking for a tail number. You are looking for a type and color. Now with ads-b, tail numbers can be useful to spot them. I don’t fly into in controlled airports often so I just need to get in the habit of using my tail number now. But to your question, I do not believe there is a regulation stating you need to state your tail number.
Thanks for the reply, safe flying.
Enjoy your videos! If I'm not too nosey, what do you do for a living?
I work in TV production
John Travolta and NASCAR Driver Mark Martin both have houses in Spruce Creek
I lived there 18 years ago. At the time Mike Skinner and the late Benny Parson lived there as well.
Tank you vidéo magnifique super ou tu a les caméras
Thanks!
Kim seems to be very up to speed with aircraft.
Isn't she amazing?
Thanks for another great Video! If you are ever out west, come check out our Airpark in Alpine (46U) Wyoming, would love to meet you someday! :)
Now with the new engines, At some point I hope to take a trip out west.
You don't need an espresso. 5 hr energy does the trick
I also have one on standby in my bag 😉
Wow. Do ya think those folks at Spruce Creek are into aircraft ? !
Ya reckon?.
Connection $&@ was listening for my voice. 👍
That would have been cool!
Great idea with the GoPro in front of the radio stack. I’ve always wanted to see that in videos.
Glad you like it.
VERY hungry to land there! Did you see John Travolta?
He lives in Jumbolair.
Saw his old house
she was baiting you in the needs department lol
She usually is 😉
Are you planing a trip kosh?
Absolutely. Will be there all week
