So P1D Takes over the Lucy Cam on this flight as we fly from KPGD to KSPG.

Classic duo! Baron was the first twin I every flew. Make sure the window latches in back are secure! Pretty sure I wet myself when it snapped out and hit the stop. I knew the tail fell off.

I enjoy all the videos from all 3 of you. I first came across Stevoe then your self Baron and then Premier when you did a combined vid in Greg's jet. I grew up in the airline industry in Australia with my father working for Ansett and myself for 10 years. The closest to flying I get is with xplane 10 these days so I enjoy your videos and get lost in the joy of flying!!!!

You two are on my regular rotation of videos (or vi-jay-os, as one UA-camr calls them). I'm a pilot and a retired air traffic controller. There's always something to relate to when I watch you.
Today's videos take me back to my training days. I did 200 hours, Commercial and Instrument (and Private, of course) at OPF back in the '60s. In an 18 month program, that's a fairly concentrated syllabus, especially when you add in the junior college curriculum which included ground school. And, as a consequence, there are some days when you just need to log the time--you've done all the chandelles, lazy-8s, and turns-on-pylon you need. So, you tour the beach, go to PBI for lunch, take up a date, and push the envelope of the airplane (responsibly, of course).
You talked about "high flights" and it reminded me of the time I took a Cessna 150 (I have about 200 hours in a 150) up to 13,000 over OPF (long before the MIA TCA). I felt a little exposed up there.
As you both mentioned, back to our roots. I never managed to get into the play for pay track--ATC was it for me (and it was awesome), and I haven't flown for 20 years, so I can get the vicarious experience watching on the computer.
Why don't you stop in at OMN sometime and I'll take you out to lunch.
Now, that was fun! Can't wait to see the return flight.

I’m a recently retired long-haul truck driver and I’m beginning an unknown journey into a second career as a pilot after an 11 year hiatus from flying. Such a cool video, on leg one and also Gregs leg back, thank you to the both of you. I felt I was in the back seat with a grin on my face listening to you both chatting about your experience and thoughts about the beginnings of your flight life. I am a complete novice and love pilot chat, I like to drive to my local airport here CCR California. Hang out with some old timers in their hangers as they discuss their flight stories.
