I'm a 91 yr old woman from the Gulf Coast of MS. You've consistently inspired me with your common sense. I eat NO carbs of any kind (on a carnivore lifestyle). Your surgery-avoiding exercises have me in awe. My 3 stenoses love you!
Hi, simply laying on your back with a pillow behind your head point your toes forward and hold for 15 minutes twice a day, My knees feel so much better, it's religning my bad hip and my leaning in foot. Even my disfigured knee cap has changed shape I dont have that bone on bone feeling when I sleep at night so much I am on my fourth day doing this and it has completed changed my life for the better. Good luck all and I hope someone benefits from this post. Thanks for uploading
You are fantastic! I woke up to the glutes 2 yrs ago when my ANKLE seized up. If I'd known about your channel, the journey would have been very much faster. I had to find out that I couldn't get the glutes properly fired until I fixed the pelvic floor (I hurt my back at age 32), and then they all follow. I'm still on the journey. - I'm 75. I can now even jog gently At 65 I thought I was on the way to being an invalid. Finding those glutes has been a lifesaver and I've still a LOT of work to do!! You're going to help me. I'll subscribe. Rosalyn
Hi.I am Elena, physiotherapist, 51 yr old, from Romania, Europe. I became a physiotherapist at the age of 50, and now I am doing a master's degree in physiotherapy. I am interested in this profession, I like it and I try to learn as much as possible so that I can help others.
Hi Pceli, Thank you for sharing your journey, Elena! It’s inspiring to hear how you’ve embraced a new path in physiotherapy at 50 and are pursuing further education to help others. Many people don’t realize the dedication and passion it takes to learn and grow in this field. We wish you all the best in your studies and your journey to help others! Keep up the great work!
My wife has had seven operations on her left knee for replacement. She was prescribed medication to fight the infection/rejections. The medication affected her kidneys, to the point she was put on dialysis. Before the last operation, I refused to doctor that prescribed the bad medication to be used again. So far things are working out. That doctor is in Oklahoma City and claimed that he sees 50 patients each day. Thankfully another discovered the problem and took my wife off the medication. Oklahoma City Bone and Joint Hospital.
I have been told I need a knee replacement from arthritis. Recently my knee was swollen and I had trouble bending it. I have had an ACL repair on my other knee so I’ve done many PT sessions. Yes they focus on quads and hamstrings. So I went back to my exercises. This was making it worse. I did one session of your glute exercises and my pain is gone and I can bend my knee more. It totally helped me!! Thank you so much in just one session
Hello doc, I'm from the Philippines. I've been watching your videos from 12 midnight till now past at 3:30 AM . I was diagnosed yesterday with osteoarthritis. Before deciding on getting a hyaluronic acid shot after PT sessions, I'm gonna try doing your exercises shown here. Hope it'll help me keep better. I thank God for the likes of you who are being honest and truthful with our physical ailments.
Glad i found this video. Im a month out from left hip surgery and im out of pain. I was told my hips and knees are bone on bone. My right hip isn't bothering me but my knees are really bothering me. Im going to try your glutes strengthening to see if I can get relief for my knees. My X-rays show that my right knee is out of alignment. Its not in the groove where it should be. It has been like this for years.
I just started doing your suggested exercises for pain in my knee from bakers cyst and arthritic knee and I feel absolutely NO pain whatsoever. I walk 2 miles on the treadmill and can go up and down the stairs with ease. Thank you!
Hi. I’ve just been pointed to your video’s from my Brother ( who lives in Wales/UK) And I’m absolutely delighted with them. My issue is my left hip and I find the walking style very easy and so relaxing that I can’t believe how well I’m doing. I’ve now passed on your ‘knee’ videos to a friend who is in pain. Thanks a million. Anne 🇨🇮
Even just relaxing my knees burn and ache. What would help me so I don’t hurt. Taking Tylenol through out the day, but then people tell me I’m hurting my stomach. What do I do. I also need to loose 30 plus lbs dr said.
Thank you for this information. I’ve been walking with my toes pointing forward, and every step has hurt for months. I’m squeezing alternate glutes and pointing toes out a bit and the pain is greatly diminished. Thank you! I hurt my knees 50 years ago, I’m 68 with osteoarthritis and a meniscus issue. I am going to start this today. I’ll keep you posted on my improvement. I do not want surgery, I want to heal this problem. Thank you, I’m from Ennis, MT. 😊
I'm from Blind Bay, British Columbia. I'm awaiting a total knee joint replacement. My knee is bone on bone. I am thrilled to find exercises that may make it easier and less painful to walk.
For future reference: 1. Low resistance high repetition (like cycling) but use glute muscles not quads 2. Strengthen your glutes, and get constant control of them 3. Stretching with muscle activation 33:00. Use your muscles to your advantage to get full range of motion if you have knee stiffness
Hello Dr. David 🙋🏾♀️ I was scheduled once again for knee surgery Jan. 2023 and chickened out again. It really scares me! Even more than the Breast Cancer Surgery I had back in 2017. I'm going to do exactly what you say. I'm hoping this will help me. I was told it's bone on bone...but the pain has gotten so much better after losing some weight. I will stop exercising my Quads & will do your Glutes exercises! That table leg swing exercise has really helped me so much! I just wanted to Thank you for your video & helping us without surgery!!❤️❤️
Hey Jacqueline, so sorry to hear about your bone on bone knee. It can be scary, but you are taking the right steps if you are trying to avoid surgery! Keep working on those glutes and keep us updated on how you are doing!
@@epmanualphysicaltherapy Hello Dr🙋🏾♀️ Just wanted to give you a update...it's been about 9 months now and I'm doing terrific!! I've now lost a total of 62 lbs! As I told you before I have been doing your exercises religiously. I've also been following a strick Ketogenic Diet and the inflammation in my knees & elsewhere has almost disappeared! I feel absolutely no pain at all in my knees! Thanks again Doctor ❤️❤️
Hi Dr Dave! I’m 59 yrs old. Just want to let you know that your videos has really guided me to understand more about ways I can do for my right knee after a meniscectomy surgery 6 yrs ago and now has arthritis issues (wish I had someone like you to educate me then) and now I’m dealing with meniscus repair surgery 5 weeks ago on my left knee and presently recovering from it. I’m presently doing PT. But your videos are giving me an insight to hear your knowledge about your specialty. Thank you for your passion in helping ppl through your videos.
Hi Vera, we are so sorry to hear that we are having knee meniscus issues that led to surgery! We appreciate your kind words and for being part of our community. We are honored to be part of your healing journey. We wish you a speedy recovery and continued relief!
So glad I found you!. I have had 2 meniscus surgeries and now my Dr surgeon tells me I'm bone on bone and need a full knee replacement. I do not want to do this surgery since I have MS. I've been going to physio for 4 yrs and now I'm trying fix my knee seeing a chiropractor. I am going to give myself a year to try and fix this to avoid surgery. And yes it's osteoarthritis I have in my knee.
I also have a meniscus tear from a fall and it has taken me 3 years to find the right physiotherapist n chiripractist. Didn't know they have such diverse approaches. One kept printing out exercise routines, not understanding how to push on despite the pain, as advised 'no pain,no gain'... I had to stop as they didnt improve the inflammations. I went to different ones but didnt improve until I saw Dr David's videos. His advices are to strengthen the glutes and always exercise enough before it hurts. Something I had to experiment and adjust as inflammation easily hinders progress. Dr David rightly suggested, 'low resistance, high frequency' rather than 'no pain,no gain'. Thanks to Dr David I gain much more strength now to walk without the walker. Another physical therapist's videos that I check out is Will Harlow, HT Physio over-50s Specialist. I am so blessed to have Dr David's and Will's professional expertise otherwise, according to my doctors, surgeries are often thwarted as the better option. I'm writing from Australia.

Hi Dr David, Oxfordshire UK here, thanks for your videos - so clear, they've already helped me. Regarding orthotics, c 18 yrs ago age 45 I had knee pain - both knees -, a young GP said prob the beginning of OA. Already was wearing NHS orthotics, but later by a series of 'chance meetings'/miracles I found a guy who made customised orthotics, by scanning the whole foot 360 degrees, that info put through a computer prog to turn it into 3D graphic, then the shell printed from that, correct flexibility for my weight, foam layer added and non-slip topping.. brilliant. End of knee pain. Then last year I twisted my ankles walking on mud which had baked hard, full of ruts. Within a day or two my knees started stinging, then became more painful. X-rays show early OA, by the end of last year using your glute exercises, and better diet, pain had gone. Then early this year I reaggravated the knees by climbing very steep steps - so frustrating!. This time the pain is mainly at the front, at the top of the shin bones, underneath front of kneecaps. Wearing tubigrip helps support them, but after a while the pressure seems to make the knee pain worse. Any advice you could give on this would be much appreciated. Stephen

Cornwall here. This man is brilliant and helping me with a recent bad episode of knee pain brought on by unbeknowingly damaging quads / knees in a repetitive stress situation. Age 79 and it turns out bad osteoarthritis in both knees. I am converted to the glutes! Plus castor oil pads helping the inflammation. Pretty well dismissed by gp. Thank goodness for El Paso.

I had knee surgery in April of 1976 so I've had decades of experience recovering. The OS said it'd last 25 years maybe and I'd need replacement. It lasted till this year. Swimming is by far best exercise for arthritic knee. Lap swimming. Soooo boring but knee strength way Betta. I rode 25 miles on electric bike more fun than swimming.
I’m from Australia Your videos are awesome. I had a stroke in my leg so movement in my knee and foot has been affected. My walking had been affected big time and standing for too long l go to the pool 2-3 times a week Your videos are helpful for me THANKS

Hi Dr. David, I live in Northern CA. I'm 83 years old & have OA on both bone on bone knees. I use a walker at night & in the mornings because of stiffness. I walk with a cane during the day. I've been doing chair yoga stretch exercises but need to start doing your easy, effective ones again. I've had so many injections in my knees over the years, including stem cell, cortizone, etc.. etc.--nothing worked for me! Going for knee surgery will not work for me either for various reasons. If I lived in Texas, I would go to your clinic for a thorough evaluation.
Hey Caroly! We are so sorry to hear about your knee arthritis on both knees! Using a walker and a cane are a great idea to offset your symptoms and allow you to move around! Don't ever feel about using them. In order to find long term relief, it's important that you strengthen your glutes and improve your muscle imbalances. For a month now, I have been having mild pain in my right knee, worse in bed. Tylenol helps. I use a wrap around the knee at night. You are the only one who has mentioned strengthening the glutes. This makes sense to me. I am an MD myself.

Thank you for sharing Dr. David, I'm happy to be more informed now. I wish you shared more besides bridge exercises to strengthen the glute. I will check your other videos. You were so helpful. Much appreciated.
Take some moringa. I take 4 capsules per day. The swelling went away and the pain too! I’m 74 and my right knee was just so painful for about 2 months. I will definitely be doing some glute exercises!
I am following you from the far end of the Indian peninsula. I have started working on my glutes and core to take load off my knee having lost all cartilages from them.
Thanks for the information. I'm happy to get some straight information about knee arthritis and how to help myself from declining any further! I'm 74 and want to continue my active lifestyle.

Thank you DOC. I have just come across your channel and your video is very useful. The last 4 of my spine was jammed together with lots of pain, no ligaments in the leg to my toes, but after a few years of therapy and changing of my diet, cutting out on limes and tomatoes, not accepting to do surgery ,or taking injections i am 90percent mobile. I am just using a cane for support. From Grenada 🇬🇩

This is fantastic. Doctors you must understand, we go to see a doctor and they don't even touch you nothing. Get some over the counter pain pills and live with it. That is an appointment. I'm really into home workouts and now working on my butt muscles to reduce using my thigh muscles. It really takes time to learn how to work the muscles this way and I really have to start alone to concentrate. Great stuff. The key for me from this video is reducing speed.
Hey @patlalla148, it is great that you are understanding this! Make sure to slow down and get the glute technique right! Best of luck to you on your knee health!!!!
hi, i'm 68 y.o. female. Left Knee popped just a little on a bend of it last week, & hip & knee are now excruciating, so Tailgate Swing, every hour, from now on ! YAY !!! TY💜✨💫😊
To do with descending the stairs, I have for at least 8 years now, walked down the stairs sideways, it seems to be easier on my joints & less pain, I climb the stairs that way too, but I focus more on the descension compared to ascension, but I agree that I need to work on my glutes (I thought mb, I just didn’t want to do the wrong exercises), now I know. This video was AWESOME 👏 I’m glad I came across it 😃 Thanks ❤
Hi... Brit Expat in Colombia, I have been treated for ever worsening osteoarthritis since 2016, every Specialist gives conflicting advice, at 65yrs, I was fed up with it, having had at least seven nerve blocks in the knee. Then I was sent for a course of hydrotherapy, and wow! it has certainly helped with the pain. I am back to walking 4km with my dogs in the morning. Hopefully I can signed up for another course, in the mean time, you are stuck with me.
Hey Phil! We're thrilled to hear about the positive impact hydrotherapy has had on your osteoarthritis pain.🎉 It's wonderful to see that you've experienced such significant improvements, allowing you to resume your daily activities and enjoy walking with your dogs again. Finding a treatment approach that works well for you can be a journey, and we're glad to know that hydrotherapy has been beneficial in managing your pain. Continuing with another course of hydrotherapy sounds like a great plan to maintain your progress and further enhance your overall well-being. We're delighted to have you as part of our community. Keep up the positive momentum, and we look forward to accompanying you on your continued progress!
Dr. David, You rare doing a great job. I appreciate your dedication and sincerity for patients like me. So far watching your video I am convinced that at this age I should avoid the surgery and keep strengthening my Glutes. So I am seeking your advice. Here is my current condition. Age: 70 yrs., 5’-5” tall, Weight: 138 lbs. Exercise: On average 3 days per week least 30 min., per day. as directed by the N euro-Therapist. Ostia Arthritis since 2016: Taking 1.5mg Meloxicam on need basis. (2023 left knee MRI, no meniscus tear or bursa but the Petillar cartriledge is almost worn out.) Cortisone injection, Uflexa gel injections had no impact on the pain or arrested movement on the joint. Glucosamine tablets did not help. Orthopedic surgeon has given his final say; go for Knee replacement. But am very hesitant to take such a course now So I am waiting to see a Pain specialist.
Hey Muneem, so sorry to hear that you have been struggling so much with your knee osteoarthritis :-( This can be really tough, but there are other things you can do to help with this. Can we use the long term solutions that you teach us while having the gel shots as lubricant? ( Haha I live very close to the border here in AZ as well!)
Just discovered you. You have a life long fan if you stay logical like this! I am still unhappy with the "physical therapy" I got last year for not being able to walk more than a few steps without bad pain. I have psoriatic arthritis BUT like many people, I have more than 1 kind of arthritis. I was a competitive skater and still have very, very strong quads and old injuries. Has anyONE EVER paid any attention to that? No. Everyone goes straight for PsA as the sole diagnosis and strengthening quads as the sole non-med treatment (but straight to drugs first). I already feel some relief, albeit temporary at this stage, just doing the few glute stretches you are showing. I will have to look for hand and shoulder exercises, plus more on this rest idea. You probably already know from the skating history that my philosophy is "Oh. You fell? Ok. Get up and do it again." I'm doing everything seated right now. Ready to buy a motorhome and come stay there while you run me through everything.
Hey Lindaray, Thanks for sharing your story. Being a competitive skater must have been so much fun. yes I can see how you have been over working your quads. When that happens your body wants to turn them on all the time. So the idea is getting those to relax and increase the dependence your gluts for activities will be most beneficial for you!! We have great RV spots by the mountains. @@epmanualphysicaltherapy thank you so much 😊 I will definitely keep in touch and use all the info I receive from watching and listening to you. I have been very aggressive on my body with Bike training and racing , I used leg weights to build strength for competitive cycling, also the past 3 years I have been doing a lot of aggressive snowshoeing 🤦♂️ I hope to get myself healed up in the off season so I can be out there next winter. Blessings to you and your team🤘🙏🧡
I have bone on bone on my left knee. My knee is getting more and more straight as time passes. I can bend my knee at less than 45 degrees! It’s making me limp as I walk. PT in the past I’ve seen only teach me to strengthen my Quads!! Thanks to you my same knee no longer buckle by strengthening my glutes!! 😄👍
I can tell you’re real smart even though you studied your profession what you know a lot of those other doctors don’t know is that some people if they have knee problems they usually have weaker calves or a weaker leg on that side at least from the knee down very wise man thank you
Hi Manual. Listened to your video and I benefited, thank you. Very grateful to as I can now think about my knee , bone on bone and not to overdo the physical activity, by resting the knee and not forcing it with excess movement. I must say that when I had no stairs where I moved to for a few years, my knees improved a lot and the pain went. Now with stairs, you have taught me how to take extra care overall, thanks again
J I am from trinidad, I am y8 y68yrs I have oaestoarthritis, the doctor told me I have to do therapy, before a NY knee surgery but I have a bandy legs, I fell down, and a lot of pain, thank you,
On the subject of orthotics, I can’t imagine walking without my knee sleeves, for me it definitely helps, I think my knees would be much worse without them. What I’m surprised that you didn’t mention, was how important it is to wear the proper footwear (especially flip flops- I think for preventing injuries), that’s how I got my heel spurs, from wearing my shoes long after the soles wore out! You’re amazing 🤩, though, I just subscribed to you.
As usual, your instructions are excellent and passionate. If you could find the time to post about exercises for strengthening the arch too, am sure it would be appreciated by many followers.
Thanks, I think you are going to save both my knees from TKR. Watching most of your videos on knees. So far it is going good. I am still practicing the stairs glut way. Oh my, it's really difficult, but I am determined. Thank you so much.
I found this video to be very helpful. I never thought to use my glute muscles for my knees. At this point, I will try anything. I am 43 and suffer from OA of both knees. So, thank you for this!!
San Diego California here. Thank you. I am bone on bone. Just got a rooster cone shot and having the other done soon. They say I need both replaced but with what I hear some people go through alot of pain. I don't want it..
I'm from SE Arizona, not watching this in real time. My knees are so painful to walk ok. I sleep in a recliner which helps a lot. My x rays show not really bone on bone, the cartilage is getting worn down because of the stress I put on it (another story). But they both creak and grate on each other. I watched just one other video from you, and I'm going to try and walk outside just a short distance tomorrow for a start. We'll see what happens after that. I have to loosen up a bit in the house before I do anything at all. I'm going to keep follow you and see what happens...
Thank you so much Dr. David for your generosity in spending so much time and knowledge and passion on UA-cam! I got your course for osteoarthritis in the knees. On day 3. Makes so much sense! ❤
@@epmanualphysicaltherapy very good information Dr. My knee is very weak my right knee go right back and fall me since I did back surgery I find my knee gone way back thanks for what u are doing.
Phidelia from south africa Johannessburg Soweto suffering right knee pain Thanx for your sdvice i will definitely start with strengthening my glutes muscles
Dr. David, you are genius, a great instructor and my saver. Everything you said, the suggestions, and the exercises really came from your heart, the years of skill and experiences. They are making sense and really work. It has been 3 months that I pulled the door close and accidentally hit my Rt toes. Due to the sever pain on my toes up to my top ankle, I quickly pull my Rt. leg and slammed my foot down to the floor too fast and realized that it was not the right time and the right angle, from that day my knee was so swollen burning and painful when walking. I have been searching for the suggestions and solutions through in the internet: I did rest, use cold compression, NSIAD votaren gel, and exercise. The swollen, burning and pain is slowly a little bit less but still flared after a short walking. I felt that it is too long now and my problem might just be the improper alignment of my knee joint that I still could not overcome. After been watching so many info in the internet, THIS CLIP OF YOUR IS THE BEST ON TOP OF ALL. I already followed your channel. Thank you so much sir. and May God bless you for what you are doing!!!
I've been focusing on using the glutes more now, thanks to you: when swimming, cycling, and standing teaching a class. It has really helped. Just found out yesterday from my orthopaedic surgeon that my knee is in a very bad condition, so I can't avoid a having a knee replacement. However, your exercises and advice will help build strength in my pre-op and post-op phase. Overall, I think "glute" swimming along with weight loss has helped immensely in managing my OA. Appreciate what you do to educate people on managing their pain. Physiotherapy is so crucial for recovery.
Love the advice and passion about *not* strengthening the quads! I think my quads are super strong, since I was a fencer back in the day and have done extensive squats and lunges. Bridges can sometimes cause cramping on the backs of my thighs. How to address cramps/cramping? Thanks for all you do and for all the videos!
I am Dr.vijaya 75 yrs having rt kneepain since one month. Can I do walking and what exercises I have to do.i used walk about 2.5 miles a day and playing shuttle cock daily and yoga.please guide me

I am so glad I have found your show. I have the bone on bone knee problem was told this years ago. I started losing weight after having COVID. And that helped but standing for even five min hurts.Anyways can knee problem cause the back of the leg to hurt. The area above the ankle . I asked the doctor and she asked me if I hurt my back just normal back pain that’s heard to explain. Like if you sleep wrong but the back of the leg burns
You are the best! No dooctors ever told me about strengthening my glutes, you are 100 percent on the right track, ever since my friend Nikita sent me your link, I have taken your suggestions, You helped cure my neck pain with the arm stretch overhead and the glute exercises are helping my weak stomach muscles and it seems that my hiatal hernia is not as bad, Thank you so much, Also, i had a few injuries, in past, which I plan to look up most of your videos to get more help, many blessings to you and your family! I live in New Jersey, but maybe one day will get to visit your clinic. Take care and stay safe, Marie
I have bone on bone pain which is excruciating as well as the noise in the knee, well I should say I did but since I have been watching your videos the one where you said place a small hand towel behind the knee and place the leg on the bed and slowly lower and hold also the swinging gently back and forth I am ecstatic it has been so long since I was without pain so I am doing these exercises 2/3 per day and thinking before kneeling or climbing a ladder or pruning trees taking a break instead of going non stop until I am finished. So I just want to say thank you so very much . ❤️
Hey Caroline, sorry to hear that you were having excruciating bone on bone pain in your knee :-( we are so relieved to hear that you have found our content useful in helping your knee! You are so welcome!
Thank you for answering a question about alternatives and not pushing knee surgery that is constantly mentioned by the sports medicine folks. At 84, I do not fit the bill for surgery. My legs work just fine. My problem is pain while walking or standing for a long time. I have worked out since I was 18 and still use my treadmill periodically to avoid overworking my left knee where I have the pain with some fluid. Tylenol works somewhat.

I can now even jog gently At 65 I thought I was on the way to being an invalid. Finding those glutes has been a lifesaver and I've still a LOT of work to do!!

There's a lesson in this story. Always get a second opinion.
Naming the medication would be helpful
James mentioning the medvwould be helpful
@@lyndamay1749 any inflammatory will decrease kidney function. Medication has to pass kidneys and liver , it will always affect them.
Her body rejected the replacement? That's scary.
Hey Tammy, you are so welcome! We are so glad that our content has helped get rid of your pain and improve you knee bending!

Thank you!
Hey Linette, we are so glad to hear that you have found improvements! You are so welcome!
Hi. I’ve just been pointed to your video’s from my Brother ( who lives in Wales/UK)
And I’m absolutely delighted with them. My issue is my left hip and I find the walking style very easy and so relaxing that I can’t believe how well I’m doing.

I'd love to hear how your recovery goes. Best wishes in speedy recovery.
I'm from Blind Bay, British Columbia. I'm awaiting a total knee joint replacement. My knee is bone on bone. I am thrilled to find exercises that may make it easier and less painful to walk.
For future reference:
1. Low resistance high repetition (like cycling) but use glute muscles not quads
2. Strengthen your glutes, and get constant control of them
3. Stretching with muscle activation 33:00. Use your muscles to your advantage to get full range of motion if you have knee stiffness
Hello Dr. David 🙋🏾♀️
I was scheduled once again for knee surgery Jan.

I am hearing you loud and clear, I am from Trinidad thank you Doctor Davide
Hi Sam, Thanks for joining us! 🇹🇹🧡
These videos were wonderful. I am from Chicago and you gave me more information than the physical therapist. WOW
We are glad to hear that Cheyenne! We love to help people understand these issues better!
Thanks Doc, Am so happy to have found you. I suffer with Arthritis, bone on bone. Your videos are very informative and God bless you.

Stephen

Take some moringa. I take 4 capsules per day. The swelling went away and the pain too! I’m 74 and my right knee was just so painful for about 2 months. I will definitely be doing some glute exercises!
Thx for the Moringa idea.

I am so glad l found you …… you give such clear information xxx
Hi Dr. David. I've been having arthritis for a Year, and as soon as I saw you on UA-cam I started to follow you, and as of now I feel better than before. Thank you! Watching from Aiea, Hawaii.

@@epmanualphysicaltherapy Thank you. It's concentration for me.
hi, i'm 68 y.o. female. Left Knee popped just a little on a bend of it last week, & hip & knee are now excruciating, so Tailgate Swing, every hour, from now on ! YAY !!! TY💜✨💫😊
Paris, France. Hearing you loud and clear. Thanks for your videos. Pierre
Hey @pierrot0538!!! ❤️🇫🇷
Thank you soo much for your teachings on knee exercises . I.m doing them and getting my butt muscles strong. God bless you
Hey Rosemary! You're very welcome! Glad to hear you are getting your glutes stronger!
Dr. David,
You rare doing a great job.

Can we use the long term solutions that you teach us while having the gel shots as lubricant? ( Haha I live very close to the border here in AZ as well!)
You are amazing- and so generous in sharing your knowledge & experience so generously with us. So grateful 🙏🏽…
You fell? Ok. Get up and do it again."
I'm doing everything seated right now.
Ready to buy a motorhome and come stay there while you run me through everything.
Hey Lindaray,
Thanks for sharing your story.

I sure wish your practice was in Louisiana! You are PHENOMENAL! Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
I am from Bangladesh. Have a lot of pain in my right knee. Have swelling on that leg too. Your exercise would be helpful. Thank you.
Brilliant videos helping me so much! Thank you Doctor David your videos are helping so many people. Worcestershire United Kingdom 🎉
Thank you Dr for this very educational live session. Also, appreciate the links to the other videos, especially how to walk on stairs properly.

Thank you for sharing. The pain in my knees are disappearing after I did some of your exercises, with proper position of feet and legs
Wow this is a pure gold podcast Thankyou 😊
Salt Lake City - I have been watching your videos for about 6 months. It is helpful. Thank you.
As usual, your instructions are excellent and passionate. If you could find the time to post about exercises for strengthening the arch too, am sure it would be appreciated by many followers.
Hey Fong! Great suggestion!
Lots could do with that .
What a helpful , knowledgeable , interested professional. Thank you !
Aw thank you Carol!! Glad you've found us helpful! Have the best day!
Thanks, I think you are going to save both my knees from TKR.
Watching most of your videos on knees.
So far it is going good. I am still practicing the stairs glut way. Oh my, it's really difficult, but I am determined.
Thank you so much.
Hey there, you are very welcome! We appreciate your support!
Florida. My knee is getting better with what you have taught me.
Greetings from Texas! We are so glad to hear that your knee is getting better with the techniques!
Thank you so much Dr. David for your generosity in spending so much time and knowledge and passion on UA-cam! I got your course for osteoarthritis in the knees. On day 3. Makes so much sense! ❤

Phidelia from south africa Johannessburg Soweto suffering right knee pain
Thanx for your sdvice i will definitely start with strengthening my glutes muscles
😊
I've been focusing on using the glutes more now, thanks to you: when swimming, cycling, and standing teaching a class. It has really helped. Just found out yesterday from my orthopaedic surgeon that my knee is in a very bad condition, so I can't avoid a having a knee replacement. However, your exercises and advice will help build strength in my pre-op and post-op phase. Overall, I think "glute" swimming along with weight loss has helped immensely in managing my OA. Appreciate what you do to educate people on managing their pain. Physiotherapy is so crucial for recovery.
Excellent video ! I feel so encouraged! Thank You!
Hey Antoinette! You're welcome! Hope it helps! 😊
I am from lndia, have severe arthritis...love your videos
Have you written any books on this stuff? Please do it soon!❤❤❤❤
Thank you for giving me a chance to try before surgery
Love the advice and passion about *not* strengthening the quads! I think my quads are super strong, since I was a fencer back in the day and have done extensive squats and lunges. Bridges can sometimes cause cramping on the backs of my thighs. How to address cramps/cramping? Thanks for all you do and for all the videos!
Electrolytes really help me!
I am Dr.vijaya 75 yrs having rt kneepain since one month. Can I do walking and what exercises I have to do.i used walk about 2.5 miles a day and playing shuttle cock daily and yoga.please guide me

Thanks doc for your input.
You’re welcome Mary!!!
No dooctors ever told me about strengthening my glutes, you are 100 percent on the right track, ever since my friend Nikita sent me your link, I have taken your suggestions,
You helped cure my neck pain with the arm stretch overhead and the glute exercises are helping my weak stomach muscles and it seems that my hiatal hernia is not as bad, Thank you so much,
Also, i had a few injuries, in past, which I plan to look up most of your videos to get more help, many blessings to you and your family!
