The Yamsquad/Cameron has quickly become my 2nd coach almost. For example, the mental toughness video really helped me (more than my coach actually) and it's just fun to watch the Yamsquad/Cameron.

Bryan Evan same, Cam’s vids have made me so much stronger mentally and I am very thankful for that.

Hmmm, the irony is not lost on me as I sit here eating a bag of crisps, while you talk about good nutrition (which I need to practice if not for me, then for my 17 y.o. novice "free speed" rowing son). Thank you for being a good role model!

My lockdown heroes - Yamsquad, Dark Horse Rowing, Training Tall & Push It Don't Pull It Indoor Rowing. As a newbie, i've been using an Oartec Slider for 3 months now on loan, but my Concept 2 arrives next week can't wait !

Another great post. Just watching you steady paddle I'd suggest you need to tap down at the finish on bowside. Hopefully it will help with the finish and set you up to keep the blade off the water during recovery. Stroke side is ok so hopefully you can get bowside doing the same. If theses stars align you maybe rewarded with the gift of balance 🤞. As for the work piece and the splashy catches. We can save this for another day. #yamsquad

He is getting better! Anyways, it's a process that takes a big amount of quality time in the single.
Cam is improving, and soon will be at a really good level.
I wonder how fast he can be in a 2km Race when he got a good techinque and eficiency. I truly believe that he can be really fast. He will be eficient enough pretty soon.
      Keep up the work Cam!

In my almost daily smoothie I like putting in flax seeds, hemp hearts, and chia seeds. It's an easy way to get some extra important nutrients - hemp hearts are not cheap, but I think worth it. Regarding yams - I like to boil a few yams, then mash them up with beans, salsa, spinach and add some mexican seasonings, then it all goes into a tortilla and heated up in a frying pan. It's a really cheap way to make 5 meals at once!

Maybe, try to practice with stops above the shoes and square the blade. Like that, after when you row normally, try to always focus on squaring above the shoes so the catch will be easier and more relaxed 😜

I'd say that you might need to work on faster hands on the finish. There's a small pause at the finish which is sometimes thaught in sweep rowing but you want to get rid of it when sculling. Fast hands away, especially in the single

Is it the camera angle, or do yours knees point to your right at the start of each stroke? Does that matter?!

There is a little bit of a push to one side actually, little bit to do with balance I think but been looking at evenness of the legs too! #yamsquad

Interesting how you back the blades in when you scull but miss so much water when you sweep.
