Creamy Broccoli Salad

8 cups broccoli
½ cup bacon bits
¼ cup green onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup dried cranberries or raisins
1 cup mayo
⅓ cup sugar
3 tablespoons white vinegar
1. Cook bacon until crisp. When bacon is cooled, cut into small pieces.
2. Cut green onions and shred the cheese.
3. Cut the broccoli into small pieces, add to a bowl along with the green onion, cheese, cranberries/raisins, and bacon bits.
4. To make the dressing add the mayo to a bowl along with the sugar and white vinegar. Stir until combined
5. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and stir until combined.
