Lemon And Lavender Shortbread Cookies! | EASY cookie recipe

Recipe:
½ cup softened butter
⅓ cup sugar
1 teaspoon lavender
Zest from 1 lemon
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
¼ teaspoon salt
1. In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the softened butter and sugar on high speed until the butter is lighter in colour and fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
2. Add the lemon zest, lavender and vanilla. Continue mixing for a minute.
3. Add the flour and salt and mix until you see no more flour.
4. Take out the cookie dough onto saran wrap and wrap it up. Put in the fridge to chill for 30 minutes to an hour.
5. Once chilled, take it out of the fridge and flour a clean work surface, and flour the top.
6. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough to ¼ inch thick. Use any cookie cutter you like to cut out cookie shapes. Continue to roll and cut until all the cookie dough is used.
7. Add cookies to a lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
8. Bake at 350°F for 12-14 minutes or until the cookies are just starting to brown on the edges.
9. Wait for the cookies to cool before moving them from the pan. Enjoy!
