I'm addicted to all of these videos! I've learned a lot but believe it or not, I've learned more from the mistakes. And your reactions to the mistakes make my day! But you always find a way to work around them and make something beautiful. I was a wood worker (wood carver, furniture and cabinet maker). Sadly, disabled now from a spinal cord injury. Partial paralysis in my legs. I never had a chance to work with epoxy resin, but I enjoy watching the channels that use it. Number one is your channel, Nick! In a lot of your videos, you are the definition of "go big or go home". Lol
So true! That mistakes are so valuable and in these days of perfection so many other people conceal theirs.
Sorry to hear of your injury. Definitely have a play with epoxy. It's great fun and there's lots you can do without going crazy big like Nick does!
@davedavem Thanks Dave, I appreciate it. I've looked into epoxy, but it's a little expensive. Found other ways to keep myself occupied though. I started writing bedtime stories for my grandkids. They really loved them! But mostly, I've taken up painting. Wildlife, landscapes. As you can see from my profile picture, I'm especially fond of wildlife. And I've got plenty of reminders of my woodworking days. My grandkids have toy boxes, play tables, chairs, jewelry boxes. My oldest is going to college next year and she's bringing her toy box as a blanket chest. Her play table as a coffee table and her tiny chair (2nd b-day presents) just because she doesn't want to leave it.
You never learn anything by doing it right. Remember “ the ladder of success is built with the rungs of failure”. Learning how to negotiate failure is the only way TO STAY at the top.
@@timisme8360 that sounds wonderful 😊
This would look so cool with a bright LED light under it in the base, turned out great!
I was just about to comment exactly the same thing 😂
@@timsuttonlovinlife- Same here
Just what I was going to suggest!
Nightlight!❤
I thought the same thing.
Ooooh you should make a glitter ball! Pour multilayers of different colored glitter that would be nice!
I’ve been watching these kinda channels for a while now and have not seen anybody use these skills. Respect.
It's so great to wake up with a new Nick Zammeti video! This was a fun one! Waffle on! 💯💯💯
Nick, as a maker, you are extraordinary! Amazing ideas and well done! Plus, you are always entertaining. I've always enjoyed watching you come up with the crazy ideas and making them a reality. Thank you so much for sharing your work! Keep on waffling!!!
love that Sphere cutting contraption - that is a cool piece of kit ! fabulous sphere :)
Many thanks!
I'm wondering how that would look if you drilled up through the center and put some LEDs in it? I'm curious if the light would penetrate through all that confetti. If it works it would be an awesome nightlight.
I was thinking of a pendant light. That would look fabulous in my living room. And the wooden base puts me in mind of some sort of acorn like nut
Awesome Unicorn confetti🥰
That almost looks like a bowling ball. It's really cool!
Absolutely beautiful, as are all the creations you make.
There was never a doubt that crazy things would be made. That's why I'm here.
If you had a way of rotating that sphere, it would make a really cool nightlight. Have it slowly spinning with a light shining up from beneath
One of my favorites!
That's pretty cool - it makes me think of a giant Whamo Superball! Very cool!
So shiny... ❤ Looks like an awesome planet to me with the middle ring. Great job Nick!
Thank you! Cheers!
💖💖💖 Thanks Nick
at the point you said you were thinking of doing a pot, I was thinking similarly. I was thinking cutting it in half at the witness line, making two bowls/pots and then putting a wood lid and finial. Using different woods for each pot. But I do like the sphere as well. I've stopped planning my projects personally. I take a blank and make it round, then I start with an idea and think, maybe a pot but as I start turning I'll start to see something in my minds eye. I've started to trust it and just go with it. My projects are getting better and better and I never know what I'm making until its done. LOL Kinda like you 🙂
My first thought when you started making a sphere was that you should make a miniature bowling set for a child. I have no idea what kind of resin would be appropriate for a bowling ball, but it could be a lot of fun, plus making the pins too.
Hi Nikki Z! It looks like a giant bouncy ball! 😂 i ❤ it!
I love your sphere and I love "Back to The Future” behind you. 😂😁
Good work, thank you. 😊
I watch a bunch of dashcam vids, few others... I saved this for last, because
I always like to save the best for last. Thanks Nick!
Your genius is amazing. Love the waffling too.
Lover the 80s music sir! Love your work! All your zany creations are great!
Looks like a cool planet. What I enjoyed here also is watching how you use your tools. I don't have a lathe but if I were fortunate enough to ever get one I'd actually have a clue what to do with it. There is always something to learn from all your video's and the stuff you make , good or bad. Please continue.
It started out looking like throwed up birthday cake but it came out pretty cool lol. It would make a cute lamp.
Love love love this project.
Love your videos, we’ve watched them for years! My daughter Nora said it’d be cool if you could make a Lego figure head out of Lego mini figure heads in resin! Regards from cold Norway!
Fun orb! Beautiful, looks more like space than Christmas lol love it though! 😊
Absolutely beautiful 😉😉
Nick ignore those people full of criticism as they are what we call in Australia “wankers” so you do your thing and we that think your creation process is amazing will watch both your channels with much appreciation 😊
Beautiful! ❤
Thank you! 😊
Really cool Nick, here's an idea for a sphere project. Hollow the sphere and run a wire through the base into the sphere and give a little light to brighten someone's day.
Not trying to be funny but that looks just like a bigger ball that comes with Jacks love it ❤
Love the view through the sphere between any surface confettis!
I like my waffles and mood music
I waa ao waiting for you to put a light in it.
Evwrything you make and attempt to make are fantastic. 😊😊
I liked it when it was octagon shaped. I think it looked really cool
Hey Nick! GREAT project - know what ... another FANTASTIC shape this project would have lended itself to ... a solid Hour Glass shape!! With all those small bits of confetti in there, I think that would have been spectacular ... Just say'n, LOL!! Keep up the content - LOVE IT!!!
So amazing. I wonder what it would look like with a light inside? ❤😊
Please keep making these.... They bring me comfort
I love all your "funkadelic" projects!!
You always amaze me with what you are willing to try!
Love love love ❤️
I can actually see this being part of a water feature… like the top of water fountain that has 3 or 4 tiers… 😍😍
Beautiful creation, and you can ALSO EAT IT! 👍
Brilliant. A new planet
This looks awesome 🤩 the look suspended in their. Turning it into a light would be next level
Nick you are absolutely amazing, love your channel ❗️🙏🏻🥰🤩
This concept would be cool to do as an Easter egg for a table centerpiece.
I think it would make a Fantastic light, make it light up 😊
I think it’s a magical ball. 😮
you sure do have a cool mind . no telling where it's going to end up . thanks for the share as always and hope your day is good .
Nice, the sphere reminds me of a planet. Maybe a fun idea, making a bunch of planets with several layers of resin?
I wonder how the spheres would look with polymer clay confetti.
You make crazy fun art . I like to see more of wood and different stuff added to what you turn or make tables.
I like the 3D effects of the ball!
This would look so cool with an LED inside!!!
Hi Nick I love your videos, waffle and all it makes the video fun. I like the fact you aren't scared to show us your mistakes and how you get around them. The unicorn confetti sphere is magnificent and unique I really love it. I like the piece of wood you used to stand the sphere on. Well done Nick Amanda xx
With that split in the middle it reminds me of a marble hey that would be a good one use a bunch of marble's and make a sphere
It still turned out great
Love this. Have you ever made a bowling ball? I bet you have and probably extraordinary too.😄
That was pretty nifty, I would like to see you do another one in black resin. Very Cool. 👍👍👍
Awesome job, Nick!!! Now we know that sprinkles won’t dissolve in resin!!!
❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hey Nick, random idea here:
Would it be possible to make like a mold that allowed you to put a large cavity in a shape and then fill it with a moving liquid like you did for your snowglobes, but to make something like this?
Like suspending one material for the outside but leaving plenty of vacancies so you can see to the spinning layer on the inside? So like when you turn it one way or the other the liquid swirls around and gives you a double effect?
You could easily make a hollow sphere if you used a resin that was compatible with rotocasting AND had a machine to rotate the mold across all three axis at the same time.
Larger version of the diffuser mold
Absolutely LOVED what you came up with❤
And I thought it was going to be a bowling ball. Very pretty!
Always a glitter fan!
Considering that reusable take-apart mold, could always take it out and take off the top before adding more. With that in mind, could do that to put waves and divots or whatever else in the same way as setting objects to give different layers with transparent pigments, etc.
Keep the videos coming 🎉
Wow! Turned out way better than I expected!
Cool ass project, mug and medallion ❤❤❤
Pretty neat! Nick, you make some really cool stuff! 😃❤️👍
Looks 👀 good possibly good with centre drilled out and put an LED bulb in it for colour changes. My 6 year old son noticed BTTF behind you
I love it! It looks like a giant bounce ball
Brilliance just Brilliance n Happy new year to you all...
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hey Nick, I think a good idea for another project with the same material. Is to do pours around 1” thick. Then cut thin to equal 1” squares, then put them back together in the 1” thick slabs. Resin all the slabs together in a sort of mosaic pattern. Then tun it on the lathe. Just a thought sir 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Reminded me of a bowling ball…love the base❤❤❤
Absolutely beautiful! You have great talent. I'm actually trying to figure out how to do the epoxy or resin things.
Thanks so much 😊
Cool!
That is very pretty.
It really looks like a Candlepin bowling ball!!
Beautiful
Absolutely lovely jubbly😊
That turned out pretty well 👍👍
Are you sponsored by 888 Poker Nick? ❤ You'll get there... don't give up.
I was waiting for the installation of an LED in the base! Oops! My bad! Love this!
Nick, i follow you for a few years and learn a lot, ive been using the lathe more often at working
Gorgeous 😊
Very Funkin piece. That's a nice mug on your mug
Cool
That's beautiful piece have a great weekend ✌️
Nick you should make it a little bit bigger, then make it into a Bowling alley ball with finger holes. Then make the pins for it. ❤😊
I liked it the first time, liked it now. It's a good video! 😊❤
You always make something crazy! And you always make something cool, and you always make something crazy-cool !!! ❤
Super cool!
Cool 😎😎
Yessssss🎉🎉🎉BIG PARTY ON SATURNUS 🪐 🎉🎉🎉
Oh my I want it !!!
That's so cool!
