Please note that my channel is for entertainment purposes only. You should NOT rely solely upon the information and techniques discussed and displayed in my channel.
I'm not a professional woodworker or woodturner and working with machinery can be dangerous.
It is recommended that you fully research each technique and decide for yourself what the safest possible work method is for you.
Thank you to everyone’s amazing comments it’s so nice to hear you love this one! This one had lots of ups and downs and I love bringing you all along for the ride so you can see the problems along the way as well , I think that’s important and not many people show it this way . Some fail and some win but either way I’ll always show you what happened . Good or bad . Much love to all of you and thank you so much for watching . It means the world 🙏🏽😍
Thank you for the amazing and super fun commentary you've always added! That is what has really had me coming back to your channel for more than two years now!
Showing us the good, the bad, and the ugly of all your processes really says a lot about you and how truly happy and inspired you are while filming!
Keep up the great work!
Hello Nick! It is so fun to see your ups and downs, I must tell you that I learn from that and I have a tip for you: when I have checked a lot of videos of other woodturners I have seen one who use hus compressor blowing air between his mold and the piece with resin to loosen it, it seems way easier than banging the mold with a hammer.
I'm not sure if there is a mold release in use though. 😄👍Love the videos. Keep them coming!🤩❤❤❤👍
That wood grain was really cool
Great project Nick. I enjoyed watching and I always learn something new
And I like the crystal know
Thanks
Dave
I did enjoy your project, it's definitely worth my time even with the ups and downs. Im happy that you show us the mistakes along the way and how you overcome them, hats off to you. Take care and happy vacation 👏👏👏👏👏
You know what I love about Nick? He doesn't just film his successes. He shows us how even with much experience, happy little accidents still happen to everyone.
He very much has a Bob Ross sort of mindset. Nothing gets scrapped that hasn’t been used up and well and truly reached its full potential.
If he only filmed his successes we would get a video every 6 months 😂
I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who has a mess with epoxy. Still trying to separate colours for swirl.
It's all in the journey and having some fun along the way for Nick. If it works out, great but then the fun is done. If it doesn't work that's almost better. He has a phenomenal attitude.
I actually learn more from his mistakes and enjoy his animated reactions.
This is the kind of guy I wished lived next door to me. I'd be at his house every day just helpin' him out. Nick... you're awesome. That's all I gotta say!
I would just watch and me amazed, all day long lol
So, you'd be stalking him? Hope you'd at least be bringing over the beer?
I too would like to hang out in his shop looking over his shoulder.😄
I would borrow his tools and beer. 😂
1- Make a plan
2- Follow the plan
3- Expect the plan to go off the rails
4- Abandon the plan.
5 -Move on to completely different item & make good.
Thank you for your excellent planning skills, Mr. Snart.
Only plan i heard was "not a bowl." Success!
No plan survives first contact with the enemy.
6- realize that life is what happens while our plans don't exactly work out.
I would turn the resin piece with the stick inside.
I like how you show the good and bad results of your projects.
I'm always amazed at the wood pieces and other items you use for your projects.
I keep seeing a base for a lamp.
Nick my man. I think the UA-cam gods really dont want me watching your very entertaining videos as this is the 3rd time I've had to resubscribe
You should do some experiments with loofah.. idk I think it would look cool in one of your projects.
Also this piece is stunning!
Always fun to watch Nick and see what transpires after he “WHIPS” on them super dooper gloves!
Wha a funk-a-delic mess! HA. Which means it’s gonna be funk-a-tastic!
As much as I hate to see people struggle like that, it is a bit comforting to see that even master craftsmen have days where things seem ten times harder than they should be. I have those days all the time.
Not only are you a true craftsman but entertaining as well! Gorgeous work
Absolutely beautiful! Thanks for interacting with the camera and not just doing the turning a d showing thrend product. Love your channel.
For the batch that set up too fast, drill a bunch of small holes into the voids, hold it down into a wildly contrasting coloured epoxy, then vacuum chamber the air out!
That would look cool
Nick, my heart went out for you every time something went south but you pulled it off yet again! That piece is just stunning! That shine is phenomenal.
You can’t take life too seriously. Nick always reminds me that it’s ok to relax.
Nick really makes my day with he's humour 🤗😂😂
If there was ever a piece of yours I wish I could own... it would be this for sure. This thing is absolutely incredible...... Wow....
I agree!
sounds like a bidding war could be in the making ,and I would be in it
Honestly thing it turned out gorgeous~ Everytime I come here I wanna get into wood turning lol. But then I remember I'm poor and can't afford the tools.😔 So let's live vicariously through Nick!!!!
Lovely work as always Nick🥰🥰
In some places there is a workshop where people can go and do some woodturning and use the lathe and all the equipment they have. Maybe you can search the internet and see if there is a places like that near you, or maybe there is some woodturner near you that can help you try on his/her lathe!😄 Maybe you can put up a note in your local food store!
Me too
@@annwahlstrom149 Great ideas!
That live edge looks like it can make a lovely forest environment globe
Like using fake moss, trees, shrubs, rocks, and miniature figurines
Gotta respect that kind of tenacity! Looked great in the end.
I must say, I grimace when your project is going off the tracks! But I know without a doubt, you’ll be taking a disaster and turning it into something beautiful to behold! You are imaginative, creative and so amazing! I’m glad you hang in there each time! It’s more than lovely; it’s unique and gorgeous! 🥳
You normally think things through, this time you kind of said “screw it I am going to wing it, what could go wrong!” Wait never mind that is normal. In the end great project as always.
So much fun.
My kids love your humor.
"Dad, are you watching that funny guy again?"
Thank you for your family safe content!
😂😂🙏🏽👍🏾👍🏾
@@nickzammeti I started watching your channel a few years ago. I have enjoyed your content and that you focus on creating in your own unique way with your unique personality.
Thank you for not only the entertainment, but also the inspiration.
My granddaughter (2 yo) loves watching this channel also.
Considering all the problems that arose during this project, I am absolutely amazed at how BEAUTIFUL it turned out! Love it so much!
What I like is the humor and the ups and downs he lets it all show.
It makes me smile, I don't get alot of them these days; still recovering from a heartattack.
That project was gorgeous! Congrats to Ur son for passing his tests and his job and college! That's awesome!
Watching you is like going on an adventure! If a stumble comes along the way you pick yourself up and go a different route. The surprise at the end is always worth the treck. Lovely piece!
The battle with this project was worth it. The end result trinket pot is beautiful . I enjoy your projects in any form. Enjoy
This deserves three thumbs up due to the fails and adjustments made to make the project work. Real world experiences are important because otherwise too many people end up thinking, "Well, this is too easy." IT IS NOT EASY.
That was such a beautiful piece and an amazing video to watch
Nick, you have a wonderful personality and attitude!! You aren’t afraid to show your mistakes and include us in your solutions. You can laugh at yourself! That is so important!! That’s why we all love you so much and relate to you!! I also LOVE your accent!! Keep on being a little off center and quirky for us!!! ❤️
Beautiful, I was on the fence about this piece. The burl was gorgeous and then you immersed in resins. It turned out the resins didn’t hide the beauty. Thank you for your quirky artistry. Sending sunshine and butterflies your way.
Thank you so much 😊
I love to see what you do when things go wrong. That's real inspiration.
That came out a whole lot more awesome than i expected after that little mishap, let's Bob Ross this and call it "We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents".
On to the next silly project :D
Nick, its truly inspiring to see that even a genius has to have a plan B, C, &…….. You rarely give up & keep us hugely entertained throughout. Thank You!!😉
This piece of art would indeed make a fantastic jewerly box. Every girl will want one for all their precious pieces of jewerly. Thank you for all your hard work making this fine piece of art.
Beautiful finished project. I love that you show your 'happy accidents' and how you recover from them to create something of which you can be proud.
🐼 Big Bear Hugs from a 68 yr old grandma in Kirby, Texas, USA 🐼 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
That is so BEAUTIFUL. I really appreciate the time and effort you take in showing, explaining, and making the things you do especially pieces like that. It's a true work of art. AMAZINGLY AWESOME & BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks for all the smiles today. Beautiful canister! Keep up the good work
That is a remarkably beautiful piece. This is the first time I’ve seen this guy, and Natalie is a talented, he is hysterically funny.
Love how you kept the blunders that were part of the project in the video, instead of cutting them out like other creators do. Gives a better story to the piece and process as a whole.
Also can't wait to see what you do with those top wood cut offs. Some toppers? Some pen blanks? The world may never know
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Congratulations to Charlie!!
I like this one so much Nick it has given me "the Wood". Stay awesome and I'm looking forward to what's next. Thankyou.
Truly beautiful. No messing around. Absolutely gorgeous. And that burl, real nice
And yes, the little round box is gorgeous.
Never give up and see what you can do. Very nice peace. Love that you showed all the mishaps. Makes your videos stand out more and shows what you can do by never giving up.
I am not a woodworker in any sense of the word. I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos, your imaginations is amazing to me. I love the final results intended or not. Keep doing you, and I'll keep on watching. You must be so proud of Charlie, cant wait to see what he makes next.
Thank you and yes he’s a great lad and very proud dad 🙏🏽
Hi Lisa, it’s nice meeting you here.. I’m Richard by name, it would be nice getting to know you better, if that’s ok with you? My mom once said good friends are never too much to have. if you don’t mind, can we be friends??
Lovely smile you got there on your profile picture, it can brighten up the most darkest atmosphere of any man’s world😉.
@@richardsmith7696 one can never have to many friends
@@lisadix4953 Where are you from?
My daughter name is Lisa as well 😃
@@lisadix4953 I don’t think here is a good means to converse, can we communicate on a better platform?
In spite of the setbacks, this turned out pretty nice. The burl and the resin came together in an almost tortoiseshell pattern. Slick!
This item is absolutely Gorgeous!!!!
Nick the accidental lathe turning whisperrerrrrr! Excellent work my man. 👍🏼⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏼
Would have liked to see the off cuts of the wood turned into the handle for it instead of that crystal thingy.
...me too, but of all those geegaws, i think the crystal was the 'best' choice.
I was kinda hoping for the butterfly. 😊
This is really elegant Nick. Great job for a piece that almost wasn't. I can wait for Charlie for ever. Congratulations to him for passing is exams and his job. I know you and his mum area really happy.☺☺☺
Ooooh Nick it's absolutely stunning 🤩 you're right it looks like it's made of marble! I'm really loving that metallic resin color, hope to see you use it again sometime:)
I can't believe Charlie is heading to college already! & his first job too! Wow do they ever grow up fast, congrats to you both & best wishes to Charlie with work & college 🤗
AND have an awesome time in Spain! :)
Thank you so much for posting what went wrong. It gives us mere mortals hope!
I love the humor that you add to your videos and everything that you make. I watch your videos more than any other video.
I'm watching this while doing a bunch of grading for a group of lazy students, you made me laugh good and proper, thanks so muchly lol. Great project by the way, love the result. Have you ever considered taking all those resting and wood offcuts, dumping them in a bucket, and filling with a different colour resin and turning some up out of it, perhaps a table post or some other Doo-dad?
You can't call students lazy anymore because the word "Lazy" is offensive to them. Modern diversity movements are quickly eliminating the idea of students being lazy. Soon you will need to bow down to them. Good luck !
I LOVE this piece!! I think I would've preferred the round silver top instead of the crystal, but really, one of the happiest accidents I've ever seen!
I too like the round metal one but it seemed the stem or whatever it is called wasn't long enough.
Absolutely gorgeous ♥️♥️♥️. I love wood, the resin just a beautiful piece!
I love watching wood turning
What I love about this guy, he is funny and crazy, and he is not ashamed to share with his viewers his successes and as well as his failiers, and that is what make him so awesome.
Jan Hurter
South Africa.
That is so BEAUTIFUL! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ The resin actually makes the pot look like solid wood. My Grandpa used to make clocks with slices of wood that looked similar when sanded and waxed. Absolutely gorgeous!
If you have ever seen the Disney version of Hercules and remember the river of souls in hades; that's what the resin looked like when it was demolded. Very cool
Gorgeous piece. I love that you make lots of different things. I follow a lot of niche makers, who are all hugely talented, but I also love watching makers who do a range of different things and really get creative. Keep up the awesome work!
Oh yeah! Back to the future 3 playing in the background. Great craftsman, Great taste in movies, great grit and wax. This video has it all. Good show ol' chap.
What a wicked woodshop. He's got serious skills.
I love nick I wonder what he said off camera when the mold melted lmao . Nick thank you, for your persistence . Yes the Wood! Is beautiful. And I'd love to see a sphere or some such with the wood cutoff. See a lot of pple do eggs but not too many spheres. Have a great holiday!
The colours are amazing!
The crystal is perfect.
“Insertion” makes me LOL every time.
Also the shavings used to display it are a really cool idea
Definitely an awesome piece
So beautiful. I was hollering “orange” at your color choice, and that’s kinda what you came up with. Great job, Nick.
Another piece of artistic craftsmanship. Truly beautiful work.
That is absolutely gorgeous. I love the colours and the handle. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
That is one of the most STUNNING pieces I have ever seen turned! Two thumbs up Mr. Zammeti!
Congrads to Charlie, not an easy year to do exams with lockdowns and other interruptions.
Actually, a great time to do exams... fewer distractions when you literally can't get out and do anything else. Stay in and study.
That turned out beautifully despite all of the obstacles. I love the wood grain and the epoxy colors too. Great work!
Nick we all love everything you make, even the happy little accidents!
Love the wood and the color! Turned out great!!
It turned out quite nice 😊 Lately I’m a bit into miniature photography with those railroad figures. The burl gave me a mountain vibe and I’d love to see some kind of diorama with small trees and some of those figures. Have a nice day!
Not me sitting here at 1am in the US watching my favorite UA-camr 🤣
Hahahappy Dayz 🥳🥳🥳
@@nickzammeti I love your content so much! Please don’t ever stop 🥺
Nice job, Nick! I really like the colors-they compliment the wood nicely. And that wood is gorgeous! All in all, it’s one of my favorites of all your work!
I'm DEFINATELY giving the thumbs up for the WOOD, bloody nice piece
That's definitely a B-E-A-utiful Stash Box 📦
I love the way you just make things work out. Sooner or later it all comes together turning out to be somethin special. A joy to watch. :)
When you said “a goose!” With the milliput I lost my sh*t 😂 I say that all the time for the dumbest things, tin foil, paper I’ve crumpled, whatever.
Love LOVE how this piece turned out!! Honestly thought you were gonna turn it in to a lamp base at first, like one of those Edison bulb ones or something. 😂 I can’t wait to commission a piece from you one day. You’re so talented!!
Also, tell Charlie CONGRATS!!! 🎉🎊🍾
Ik that's from something Jim Carey did, but I can't for the life of me, remember what it was! Either way, it was just a hilarious coming from Nick as it was from Jim Carey!
@@alicianorris9352 I believe it's from Liar liar or the bloopers from it.
@@dabblingwithbonsai That's what I was thinking! 😄 Jim Carey is hilarious
Idk how I missed this when it was posted, sorry! Another beautiful project Nick. That would be great for jewelry on my dresser💜
A beautiful final product. The timber & resin colour worked out.
Charlie’s in college 😳 my god time flies.
Take care all.
Beautiful. I’m so glad you choose the crystal. Awesome
Nick: Definitely not making a bowl....
Later: Bowl
Bowl - but with a LID✨✨🤌🏻
I was thinking "Now we know where he keeps his Cookies!"
I love watching and seeing what you come up with. I am going to be getting my own lathe and getting into wood turning in the near future. Just need to finish moving to our new home so I have room.
Beautiful! 💖 Love it. Would look great on my dresser. Waffle on and stay arty! 🌹Charlie is done with school? Where does the time go! Is he still playing guitar? Cheers to Charlie. 👍
I love when you use color in your projects. Very Creative!
Your crazy is beautiful. The insanity of creation leads to some wild rides. Thanks for the adventure.
This turned out amazing! Thank you for showing your failures ans your successes and not giving up. Maybe you could make a wood resin waterfall lamp in a future project? That would be funkadelic! And I love those colors! I might need to get some Black Diamond mica myself 😎
I am surprised you havent started using a vacuum and stabilizing some of these pieces yet. Might have helped with the softness of the wood and those cracks a bit!
That is so Beautiful!!!!! Incredible job my friend. What a Lovely one of a kind piece of art! Thank you so much! For all your hard work and hard tedious work editing all this for us to watch. Take care bro. God bless you and your family.
i dont know but this guy make my day every time i watch his chanel...
I gotta say, your process looks like absolute unfiltered chaos, but it always turns out beautiful at the end!
My "like" is for you, the wood, the resin, the pigments, and the miliput oh and your emblem and the topper... as well aa the lathe and all the attachments and tools needed for this video. I don't like to pick favorites. :p
That was quite a wrestling match, well done sir!
I was worried it would be a “funky” pencil by the time it was done! Lol. Turned out beautifully in the end despite the mishaps along the way!
What was the spaghetti for? Did I miss something.
Love your videos. Always brightens my day. 🙂
I just commented the same thing. I had to go back to make sure my brain wasnt coming up with things. I think it was just kinda implied that plans changed but curious what his original plan was.
Ha. Thanks!
@@leonasamuel7791 Yea, me too. I was expecting to see him tearin' into a big plate of pasta!😄🍝
What a Gorgeous piece! The resin blends so well with the wood color!
The crystal makes it Classy! Great colour combinations, with the burl! Nice one!
