I was studying as a bible student with JW for 4years now, being single mother at the same time, I am hoping to get marry again, but they don’t care my concerns actually but just keeping me to the congregation,also told me it’s very hard to get married again. I was so heartbroken, I don’t want to be alone in my entire life .. and I think there so many people are better then them but the congregation just told me all other people that doesn’t in the Kingdom Hall I need to be careful..I think it’s time for me to leave after seeing your videos, thank you so much
Off course you can marry again. But they see you as damaged goods now.they don’t concern about you personally. They love bomb you as long as you come to the meetings. They want to seperate you from ‘wordly’ people and cut ties with them. Don’t fall for that. Just feel in your body what it does with you, trust your feelings. If it doesn’t feel right just run.. their interest is just to baptize you and after that they don’t care about you anymore

Just spoke to two on the door, l was in many years ago so knew what to question them about. Their minds are so closed off to any logical questions, asked them about new thinking to have a beard now,they answered that they have always being able to, thats when l told them l used to be in and l know you are lying, they left😂You certainly did the right thing leaving.

In January I learned about the Australian Royal Commission and decided I was ashamed of the jw religion protecting paedophiles and calling their victims liars. I gave a letter of resignation to the congregation secretary. What freedom I felt as I walked away from him! You are right - Even Jesus told the Samaritan woman that in the future God would not be worshipped in a place - not on her mountain, or in the Jews' Jerusalem - Instead God would be worshipped in spirit and truth. No organization is needed as they are all run by men. JWs worship the 8 guys that call themselves the governing body. Silly rules they make and keep changing. They do not have the "truth" - Every prophecy made since 1870 has turned out false 🤦🏻♀ yet JWs hang on to these men like co-dependent abused members of a family. Agreed…..but you know what I have realised in 40 years “OUT”…?.? In LIFE unfortunately people form CLUBS in different aspects - Political Clubs / Sporting Clubs / Religious Clubs / Social Clubs / Military Clubs…etc. They ALL come with Rules & Regulations. It just means that IF you feel the “ need to be part of a Club”……be aware and weary of its Rules and Regulations. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Me. I was discouraged for the beard a very very small one A alder follow me all the way to the bathroom asking me if l was sick or if leas on a health treatment. I was shocked , didn’t understand…. And when on. Way l have that facial hair. I was good, didn’t feel no shame to present my self, or to be observed by Jehová in that 28:10 simple state.
Listening from Australia left in 2020 at 80 years old. Was born in. Not because off internet but things written in WATCHTOWER . That was an option. But i stayed because i wanted to talk to her when she was still alive. I honoured her from my home. A funeral is not that important for me. Last words would be more important and that was already gone so.. but i get you🙏

I was still terrified about Armegedon until I realized that “this generation” had indeed passed away. Yet here we are. Man has lived for thousands and thousands of years. We are a species. We live and we die. Religion was “invented” to explain what we didn’t yet understand. There very well may be a creator. But he/she/it has zero to do in our everyday lives. @shiftyourmindset2 Thanks, I have found peace. I've come to the revelation it's about a relationship with God/Jesus than being a member of any church. We were similar when I noticed the love and fellowship instantly fade it only hardened my resolve to leave and stay gone lol that first week after I left last year was a huge sigh of relief I didn't even realize I needed it until I left.
I got baptized at 16 because I wanted to leave the religion and as a female hard to do you have to pick an JW guy in a very small congregation full of.old people. So let a guy at an assembly who was wondering the hall like me so to not have to listen to the crap. Our parents made us still go even at that age. We never dated without my brother along only kissed once before we got married at 17 he was 19 We had allot in common and decided to get baptized so we can get Married so we can move far away together and leave the religion still being able to have family. So that was our plan and it worked out great. But yeah, kinda ashamed to say I got baptized to leave the religion. Crazy. But it worked. Me and my husband were best friends but not a match for a couple so after we both got on our own feet separately we said goodbye to each other. We stayed friends. Now all my family are in JW religion and they talk to me because I've been inactive for 40 years. So I wouldn't recommend this method but it worked for me.

In LIFE unfortunately people form CLUBS in different aspects - Political Clubs / Sporting Clubs / Religious Clubs / Social Clubs / Military Clubs…etc. They ALL come with Rules & Regulations. That was an option. But i stayed because i wanted to talk to her when she was still alive. I honoured her from my home. A funeral is not that important for me. Last words would be more important and that was already gone so.. but i get you🙏

I was born in like you. 30 years in and now 32 years out. I have 7 wonderful children (none on the organization) two step children, a wonderful wife and 6 grandchildren.

I was still terrified about Armegedon until I realized that “this generation” had indeed passed away. Yet here we are. Man has lived for thousands and thousands of years. We are a species. We live and we die.

Calling it “the truth” was an excellent marketing tactic that the cult adopted early on that everyone used and spread as they went door to door. It’s much like the “newspeak” tactics used in Orwell’s, “Nineteen Eighty-Four”! It was easy for me to leave over 30 years ago because my father never converted and my older brother had left ten years earlier. I wish you good luck in your new life, and in your future journeys!

Why you should be invited to a funeral? Nobody can forbid you to attend the funeral of your relatives, you don`t need their permission, you just go thats`it. And if they shuned you shuned them back you are here for your mother or father or whoever it is thats important for you.

We were similar when I noticed the love and fellowship instantly fade it only hardened my resolve to leave and stay gone lol that first week after I left last year was a huge sigh of relief I didn't even realize I needed it until I left.

I got baptized at 16 because I wanted to leave the religion and as a female hard to do you have to pick an JW guy in a very small congregation full of.old people. So let a guy at an assembly who was wondering the hall like me so to not have to listen to the crap. Our parents made us still go even at that age. We never dated without my brother along only kissed once before we got married at 17 he was 19 We had allot in common and decided to get baptized so we can get Married so we can move far away together and leave the religion still being able to have family. So that was our plan and it worked out great. But yeah, kinda ashamed to say I got baptized to leave the religion. Crazy. But it worked. Me and my husband were best friends but not a match for a couple so after we both got on our own feet separately we said goodbye to each other. We stayed friends. Now all my family are in JW religion and they talk to me because I've been inactive for 40 years. So I wouldn't recommend this method but it worked for me.
