I love the roostertail that my VX Cruiser makes. It gets over twelve feet high, and lets everybody know that I'm coming, so kindly move out of my way. :)
I have always been curious about the potential effects of removing the visibility spout on the flow of water to the intercooler and engine block, and whether this modification could lead to an improvement in thermal efficiency.
This was the 1st thing I did when I got my GP. I was in a no wake zone with my wife on the back and a tail wind. She got soaked.
I think it should come from the factory with shutoff valve
@@Watercraftshack I agree, give you options to run with or without on cold windy days.

Keep it on!

I doubt it would have any effect on cooling as it’s not connected to the cooling circuit.
Thank you. Once the hose is pulled off, where does the flow of water go?
Just sprays under the hull but doesn’t damage anything
Could also be capped off.
@@chrisburger4518 yes that’s a good idea too
I would put a cap on the hose barb or plug the hose, hose clamp, and secure it.
Question now would that void your warranty if it's a brand new unit
No it will not, warranty will still be good!
Just reattach it before bringing it in for service.
You have a black ski and even want to be more invisible, I have a waverunner also a boater, that spout could keep you alot safer
Does it affect it performance wise
It doesn’t affect performance at all.
Without the visibility spout, your machine will be completely invisible to surrounding vessels. Be careful!!
Yes, you need to stay alert on the water and never count on people seeing you
Lol kawi and sea Doo do just fine
🤣
@@SME5724 my comment was sarcasm....
@ajlukelepuke It's not always easy to read sarcasm in a text. Try putting /s at the end. I though you were serious too. lol
