I had carried an invitation letter sent by aunt who is a US citizen, but I didn’t need to show it anywhere. They asked a lot about my sister because my purpose of visit was to meet my sister after many years. They asked her background, education, current workplace. Then they asked about my background. Lastly they asked about my parents details and background. They tried to cross question, for example questioning more about my father’s business, but I was prepared and wasn’t nervous at all.
I booked a 30 minutes session because my case is kind of complicated, the visa officer of Argo Visa told me I'll be totally fine however I didn't get the extension of my F-1 visa. The officer in my real interview asked total different question which beyond the topics we discussed in this mock session.

I am self-sufficient but my primary source of financial support is my mother but just because she has health issues so the bank accounts are under my name. Also I manage all the family funds and our family sources of income by myself. So I have all the privileges and access to the family income and I am going to use the earnings and funds at my mother's will and approval. If you’ve already been denied an f1 once you’ll always get denied for NIV .Don’t apply for NIV again.
