Hi, sorry for late reply, I had some works to do now I am here!😃
I had my VISA interview in US embassy in Nepal
I applied for F1 visa, I had really good academics!
I had 9.3/10 cgpa and good English proficiency with 7.5 in IELTS as well, so I guess my academics played a vital role during my interview!
I was asked about 4 questions
      Why this university?(Webster university)
Why this major?(My major was biology)
      Who are your sponsors?(parents)
What are your future plans?(working in the field of health and medicine)
I was really confident about my intentions to go to United sates and that is to continue my study, I mentioned the academic aspects of my degree and provided the abundant information about my university that would really help my major! I was confident and I made my VISA officer believe in me!
As I wanted to be a health and medicine specialist I had chosen biology major with special emphasis in health and medicine, I exactly mentioned him about my idea and he immediately gave me a good response from behind the window!
I had about $23,000 to pay and I said that my parents will pay for my studies, I mentioned their profession and income & the collective income from my parents was $38,000, I didn’t lie I had all of the documents present with me in the embassy! So he believed me!
I mentioned about the deprived health and medicine services in my country Nepal, as I am studying biology with health and medicine emphasis, it would really help me to gain wide range of knowledge and while returning back to my home country I would look forward to work in these sectors!
I was confident with all of the documents present, I made good eye contact with my VISA officer!
He knew I was confident, I smiled in each and every answers I presented and he smiled back to me!
I deserved my VISA and he approved it! I did it so do others can !just be genuine and confident about your case!

@chaiandcoaching I recently discovered your valuable videos and tips for passing the F-1 visa interview, and I wish I had found them earlier. I applied for an F-1 visa two months ago but was not successful. I believe this might have been due to the MPOWER loan I had at the time.
Since then, I have canceled the loan and received financial support as a grant from my employer, where I have worked for three years. This grant includes a job offer with an excellent salary in their financial management team after I complete my master's degree and return to my home country.
Would it be beneficial to mention these changes in financial support at the beginning of my upcoming visa interview on Thursday, August 8, 2024?

I'm a bit confused. Let's say I applied for a visitor visa back in 2012, around 12 years ago. At that time, I was just a student with no job and weak ties to my home country, which were the reasons for my rejection. Now, in 2024, I have graduated and have held a stable job since 2018, amounting to 6 years of professional experience. I've also applied for an MS degree. My question is, should I be concerned that I was rejected before, even though my circumstances have completely changed? I hope this question will be helpful to many.

Hi im in a bit of situation here could you help me?
So next year im planning on dance training for a year in america but im torn between these 2 studios:
    A. Millenium dance complex in LA but the studio cant provide a student visa so i have to go on a tourist visa
    B. Broadway dance center in NY the studio can provide me with an M1 visa
(Idk if provide is right word to use in this context 😬)
Which one do you think is betterfor me? I ask a couple of visa agent in my country and they said it's gonna be reakly hard to obtain that tourist visa since Ive never traveled outside of my country before. But what do you think?

Okay so in 2018 i was refused for a tourist visa to the US, which was to attend a competition.
Right now I will be going to the University of South Florida with their highest scholarship for international student. I guess i was refused before because i could not answer something about my father's job (well i was too young then).
All i wanted to know is, does the previous rejection affect my F1 visa now? If yes, then how do I prepare myself for it now?

Ben is so much amazing. The tips for Ben helped me alot. I took his advice about how interview response should focus on how studying in the US is important to home country and self. Also I took his advice on how to make sure of the first question ask. My F1 visa just got approved and I have less than 1 minute. I make my case strong from the first question.
VO: Where are you going in the US?
Me: I was able to name the University, my fully funded scholarship, my program and level of education, my research goals and my intentions to return to Liberia to have a senior lecturer position at the university of XY where I am currently employed.
VO: Who is sponsoring your program.
Me: l have a funded scholarship from Prof. XY research group and I will be a research assistant in that lab.
VO: But I am seeing personal funding on your I-20.
Me: Sure you are right. I am taking my family with me so I needed to provide fund to take care of them.
    VO: Where are your family
Me: They are in my home country, Liberia
VO: How many children do you have
    Me: XY number of children
VO: Sir your visa has been approved and you will get your passport in 10 days.
Me: Thanks with a simile 😅
I applied from a third country where I am currently pursuing my Master's degree.
Wish you all good luck to come. Thank Ben and this amazing team for helping with tips.
