    This is a great video Dr. Gary. I love that you are so detailed in explaining the procedure and what to expect afterwards. Very, very enlighting. Thank you so very much. You really tell a patient what is best for them and not what they want to hear. That is genius.

    Doc, I’ve been watching a few videos where you had no hair and you are like a blank canvas. You have a wonderful personality and your engaging and informative. Your way too young for me but you’d be a fun teacher, friend or an interesting boss. I do psych I wish I knew someone in my field like you to be a mentor.

    Aging is so creepy. I've been doing it for several decades now and you get used to it and stop thinking about it too much. But every once in awhile, it suddenly strikes you how creepy and unnatural the whole thing is.

    • @bonniebelle5707

      @@bonniebelle5707 Well, you can return to wherever you want to, but that doesn't make it any less abnormal. ESPECIALLY when you compare it being in the universe. When we were in the universe, we didn't do it. We just always were the same. Then you suddenly get into the meat body and it does this abnormal decay thing over decades. It's a disease, a rot, at the core of the world. It's not the natural state of human beings.

      @@ammabthedigitallynomadic3385 No, not really. I've been doing the aging thing for awhile now and I find it increasingly deranged and unhinged, not less so. Will I make my peace with it when I'm 70 or 90? Maybe. But for now it more and more looks like a huge gaffe, a sort of universal cancer. Just wait till you age, maybe you'll think about it the same on a lucid day when you can't sweet-talk yourself into the whole thing being "natural" and the "progression of life" or some other cope. Good luck.

I would like for you to address issues specific to olive, black and brown skin. I have had minor cuts and a robotic hysterectomy and I did not have keloids as a result. Your areas of specialization are face and hair but I would like you to address other parts of the body like fat deposits on the thighs and inner thigh skin that caused thigh rub.

    I'm aiming to get a lip lift in a few years time. I really would like to get a face lift as well, I'm 36 this year, but I gained 30kg weight during pregnancy from 48kg to 78kg! That picture of me is old, it's just before pregnancy. So now I still have weight left 15kg so I'm 63kg at the moment, and I feel like that contributed my face to have a bit droopy skin. Why does skin grow longer with age? How much? How many meters of skin produced when someone is 100 years old? Some organs (nose and ears too) keep growing through life. How odd.

    • @rominawitschnig
      @rominawitschnig 2 роки тому +3

      They don't "grow". When you get older the cartilage in your ears and nose starts to break down and begins to sag, it's just gravity. And your skin loses elasticity most of the time also with facial fat. That's why it starts to sag

    • @royzlatanestevez9843
      @royzlatanestevez9843 2 роки тому

      @@rominawitschnig Yeah. That never made sense to me. Here I have a pencil. It has zero elasticity for all practical purposes. But it doesn't sag or become long. It's hard and brittle. Explanation that skin becomes long because it's not elastic is not a good explanation. But doesn't really matter. Let's forget I said "grow". I just want to know how many square meters of skin does skin become "longer" by. It's a renewable resource.

    • @iluvglue
      @iluvglue Рік тому

      @Roy Zlatan Estevez but skin has alot of elasticity think of a rubber band that loosens overtime when being stretched becoming "bigger" its still the same volume of material but isn't able to bounce back to the same tightness. The same with skin. Also wit cartilage, fat layer under the skin thinning it doesn't have the support keeping it "up". Skins elasticity is effected y genetics but wearing sunscreen, keeping the skin hydrided and moisturised, and exfoliation (aswell as chemical peels, lazer and led treatments help collagen production) help with maintaining skin elasticity. Also diet high in collagen and anti oxidants help but genetics and sun exposure are the biggest factors. U shouldn't be scared of aging it's inevitable who are we to fight time
