  • For awesome skin care tips go to drdavinlim.com/skin-care-tips/
    Ultherapy - Ulthera is a non-surgical skin tightening & lifting procedure that uses high-intensity ultrasound. This energy heats the deeper layers of the skin producing contraction & production of collagen. This results in skin tightening & lifting of the lower face, jowls, neck & upper lids. This is a no downtime treatment that takes 40 to 60 minutes to perform. The majority of patients require only one session.
    .
    Where can HIFU be used?
    Therapy treatments can tighten loose skin on the face, neck, sagging skin under the chin and soften lines and wrinkles on the chest.
    .
    Therapy treatments can produce a non-surgical brow lift in patients with mild to moderate skin laxity. Therapy is also a great treatment for adults that are just beginning to see the signs of aging including face, forehead, and neck skin laxity.
    .
    Is HIFU painful?
    With correct pain relief this procedure is well tolerated. Patients feel warmth on their skin though out the treatment.
    .
    How long is the HIFU procedure?
    HIFU takes between 30 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the areas treated. Some patients may only need a small area treated, whilst others will benefit from an Ultherapy neck and face-lift in the same session.

  • @Bobby-mq9ys
    @Bobby-mq9ys 9 місяців тому +8

    Is it true that the collagen tightening produced from HIFU and RF is 'disorganised collagen' - effectively scar tissue? It was claimed by a surgeon that the denatured collagen doesn't form regular, orderly collagen and instead meshes together in this disorganised manner. It was also claimed that this scar tissue then makes it difficult for any future surgeries. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

After, I felt tenderness and swollen in my lower cheeks and stiffness of my neck. Then the worst part now i got a jawlock. I never had a history of jaw problems ever before. I don’t grind my teeth either. My xray result says that i have a tmj. When i asked the er doctor, she told me the muscle strains is making my joint swollen. Can u tell me what went wrong on my procedure. All i know is that they set the intensity in 0.7 then when i got 3 hifu shots , it felt like i got punched. And i asked to reduce it at 0.2. No one is believing me since im the first patient who have experienced this.😞😞

Initially I thought it's just the anesthesia not wearing down yet but I got worried when 30 hrs had passed already. The condition worsen as days go by and got better after a week but jaw pain started kicking in more often. Just now I experienced a terrible pain in my jaw while having my breakfast and I'm thinking this could be TMJ disorder. Is it possible for HIFU malpractice to lead to TMD? Hope you notice my comment. In some cases the procedure can cause something called cartoid artery dissection which is basically an artery that delivers blood to the brain. Headaches and facial paralysis are symptoms. I'd get an MRI for your head and neck to make sure there isn't any damage to any facial artery or even the cartoid and other ones. I got it done yesterday and had a terrible terrible headache and I am worried about the artery damage because when she did my neck my entire windpipe got a feeling like I was electrocuted till the base of my tongue. No one tells you this but HIFU can cause strokes because of the damage it can do to arteries.😢
