My grandma's sister in East Africa lived to a healthy 120....she kept peace with everyone and always laughed...her only surviving sister is 103 years old.
She still walked, had all her teeth and sharp mental health by the time she passed. 2 weeks before she died she called her sister and told her she was about to leave and she didn't want her to cry. They reminisced about their childhood and lives and one morning 2 weeks later she didn't wake up from her sleep.

This podcast was really frustrating because Tom kept interrupting and displaying the knowledge he knows or what he thinks when we are here to learn from Bryan, not learn what Tom knows! (This is meant to be a constructive criticism for future videos. Please Be mindful when you are asking the questions. Wait for your guests to finish their sentences. My grandma lived to a 100. She never kept any particular diet in her life, she ate what she enjoyed, often looked for things on sale even if it wasn't the best food (she lived through both World Wars so learned to be very thrifty and couldn't unlearn being very frugal, she always kept saving what she could from her retirement money and then would give away money saved to her kids and grandkids).
She loved to walk and walked every day, she was very active, we often laughed she was the least lazy out of us all, even in her 90s when we needed something from the store she was always the first one ready to get up and make the run no matter how far (in Europe you walk to stores). She had a hard life, raising 3 kids by herself (her husband died early). It wasn't the diet that gave her a long life, it was probably her attitude. My mom often tried to change her ways and convince her to buy better food because my mom was into healthy eating and wanted my grandma to eat better but my grandma was stubborn and always felt she knew what was best for her and stuck to her ways. Occasionally when she was convinced by my mom to eat something my mom suggested ( some 'health food') she would then complain that that particular food didn't make her feel good, and that she feels better eating whatever she always has.
My mom who was very strict with her diet and always watched what she ate passed away at 70, just 2 years after my grandma passed away. I think the difference between my grandma and mom was in their mental state, my grandma was at peace and was able to shake off any stress very quickly. My mom on the other hand had that worry personality, she stressed easily and internalized a lot of negative emotions and stress.
I used to be very strict with my diet when younger too, it was my passion to eat healthy and live healthy. While I still try to eat healthy I no longer obsess about it and I am much more relaxed about what I eat. I now believe that a strict diet is not the most important piece to a long and healthy life. Also, watching videos on centenarians confirms this, none of them have been strict with their diet, all ate something that would be considered bad (some drank a lot of coffee, many drank some alcohol, some drank milk or ice cream every day etc) but all had one thing in common and that is having a sense of purpose in life, a strong will to live and feeling positive about life, being active, and never letting stress get them for too long, being able to let go and stay peaceful.

Every decision I now make on a daily basis (Relationships, food, work, exercise, sleep, preventative/diagnostic testing, etc) is with the sole purpose of optimizing my health and increase my chances of survival. The strong motivation allows to easily eliminate anything that conflicts with the objective of attaining optimal physical and mental health. I have less mind chatter, have constant level of energy so I can run after my 5 year old boys, I lost a bit over my belly but most likely this as side effect, as this product is not a weight loss product, I sleep better. The most most important for me is, that I don't feel exhausted at the end of the day and don't have those moods swings, woman in my age tend to have ;) It is really so, that I feel younger and thi sis marked as a reverse aging product so I guess it does its job. There are some studies also on that from what I know. It contains 9 collagen which address most of the body systems, what guarantees that it works. Usually typical collagen contain out of two which cover mostly beautiful skin, hair and nails. When they study centenarians in the blue zone, most people ate a lot of organic, home grown vegetables/legumes/ fruit/ leafy greens and were regularly physically active through walking and gardening. But the most profound commonality was they had a strong connection with their community and the elderly. Nobody was excluded or left out to feel lonely.
Sometimes we get lost with the goal of trying to live as long as possible and forget to actually enjoy the journey of life which is only meant to be for a certain time so we appreciate the important things.

Correlation is not causation just because they were forced to be around people that they hated in order to survive in communities doesn’t mean that it prolonged their life or that it didn’t actually lower their total life expectancy. Let’s not pretend like going to family celebrations is a fun and positive time the majority of it is very high stress and let’s not pretend like socializing is not 90% stressful. Avoiding socializing, and being grateful for having the ability to avoid it will drastically increase your lifespan because it will reduce your basal stress levels. The number one cause of the majority of peoples stress comes from socializing and from having other people in their life for every one good interaction, there are like nine other in interactions that are extremely stressful.
Only people you should be socializing with are your pets and that’s about it. Everybody else is just full of crap and most likely going to cause you stress either through their incompetence or through nefarious reasons.
Also, there is no such thing as a community unless you somehow win the lottery and you found everybody in your life to be just so amazing and helpful and never screw you over which is probably a one in 1 million chance of happening. The reality is that the majority of people in the so-called community are just trying to benefit themselves and couldn’t give a crap about you and if you say otherwise, then you either won the lottery or you have not grown up yet. Either way I don’t like gambling.

apparently it costs him 2 million a year, but I assume a portion of that goes to research so it would be cheaper for you... how many hundreds of thousands are you spending per year on this regimen?

    • @NonEx34
      @NonEx34 Рік тому +17

@@YSFmemories Sharing some thoughts and my approach of adopting most of the protocol:
Most of the 2 mil a year cost is for doctors, procedures, medical devices and examinations. The rest is actually quite affordable. Copying 100% of his routine wont give you the benefits without constant medical supervision and will likely risk doing more harm than good, so I opted to leave out some more dangerous substances and procedures that need constant supervision out of my adopted plan. All the lifestyle choices and food supplements can be adopted for quite cheap and likely have a very big portion of the blueprint impact.
His supplementation list is inflated because he takes most vitamins, supplements and some food ingredients as single pills. Many of these can be consumed naturally. I managed to incorporate almost all non-dangerous substances with a high quality vitamin complex supplement and 7-9 additional supplements at minor cost. I opted to consume turmeric, ginger, garlic, black pepper, lycopene (tomatoes), sulphoraphan (broccoli sprouts), flavanols (raw cocoa powder), some amino acids etc as fresh ingredient or dried powder instead of as supplement and just add those to my meals. Some other supplements are also easily sourced from natural food, like EPA from high quality Linseed Oil. I also adjusted his green giant shake to my personal needs, adding the powdered ingredients like turmeric etc to it and spike it with a banana, honey and berries/fruits to make it higher calorie to sustain my energy needs and made it my regular breakfast (I'm quite tall and athletic and need more calories than he does).
Much of the sleep, training, habit and food regiment can be adopted for a little initial / 0 returning cost.
I have a decent matress, a pillow supporting my spine, I air out my bedroom before sleep as I dont have an active filter and I keep it very clean, I darken the room and use airy bed sheets and matress to help regulate temps. All doable with minimal cost.
The training regiment can be done at home with a few dumbbells, maybe short and long bars with weights, a pull up bar and a trip into nature and your local public swimming pool. Really not much extra cost. I would argue that this is also adjustable to personal preference, as long as you make sure you train the whole body, focus on good posture and dont exhaust yourself to your limits. Physical stress in moderation seems to be the key here.
The meals/food are quite straight forward and dont need explanation. I make sure they provide me with all my macro- and micronutritional needs and leave room for caloric restriction and a 18 hour fasting window. I think its more important to copy the ingredients and understand their nutritional value for blueprint than to eat exactly the same meals bryan does. Everybody will have different caloric and nutritional needs! Bloodwork at your doctor will help getting this right.
Some of the medical procedures and devices actually wouldnt be too expensive but I havent looked into adopting most of these yet and likely will not. Eg the device stimulating the vagus nerve through the ear pretty much can be replaced with meditation/breathwork as it can produce similar vagus stimulation. Infrared lights for home use are quite cheap and I use one of those. One can look into alternatives of the things you want to do and talk to a doctor about feasability. Many of these gadgets actually can be adopted at low to medium cost, some have zero cost alternative activities that provide similar, although maybe less impactful benefit.
My additional monthly cost for supplements and food as of today is at less than 100€ at the moment and will likely be 0€ additional cost because of the expenditures on bad habits I am cutting and the regular grocery budget I have to spend any way which carries a part of the incorporated meals and supplements. That said I had many of the ingredients and habits incorporated into my diet before and it might be more expensive for someone else depending on the country and food habits.
I am into my personally adjusted protocol about 2 weeks and so far I feel small but very profound positive changes in my body, mind and overall health. Will likely meet up with my family doctor to compare my bloodwork, lung parameters etc to previous data in the future. I am tracking sleep, behaviour, perceived energy and happiness, fitness etc as data for personal evaluation.
All of that said, I am a medical student and have a decent idea of what the studies bryan is relying on suggest and how to properly adapt the protocol to my needs, and it would help anyone doing this to have someone around with basic knowledge of human metabolism and physiology.
I am doing all of this on a european student budget of less than 1000€ a month and its no problem at all!
      Hope that helped!

The level of RESOURCES Bryan has is what's overwhelming here. There are some incredible people out there with self-discipline. This is not about self-discipline. He knows the exact customized "recipe" he needs to follow AFTER having all 78 of his organs repeatedly tested, his own specific data, changes and PROGRESS TRACKED as motivation. He can directly measure his speed of aging. The rest of us are floating around trying out these different theories/fads based on very little data. He's literally taking a microscope to each one of his organs. Pretty sure we'd all be motivated if we saw the specific solid evidence of reverse aging in our own bodies. @28:30-31:30 says it all. His education to dissect and understand these expensive repeated tests is also a resource. This data and the future is for the wealthy who can access it. I'm interested only in things that are actually doable and thus useful to me. I give Brian FULL credit though, he has these resources b/c this is his LIFE'S WORK.

I had the worst PTSD episode I had ever had a while back.
*side note which is interesting per Bryan also being an ex-Mormon: the PTSD was from my childhood trauma from being raised in the LDS church and ensuring SA from my chilhood bishop during "worthiness interviews".
I, like Bryan, found my way out of that toxic cult!
*The PTDS episode was so intense that I completely lost my appetite.
*side note: I found an amazing PTSD therapy who used A.R.T. (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and I finally resolved the PTSD that had been plaguing me for years.
    * through losing my appetite, I began eating only healthy foods.
*the sugar detox i went through was uber intense. I got very sick as all the gnarly gut bacteria that had me addicted to sugar died off and made me very sick. After this sugar detox, I began feeling so good that even the thought of eating sugar is nauseating!
*I then stated eating oy healthy foods. It's fascinating that through my research I have come up with some of the dame protocols that Bryan has come up with.
*I now get 8 hours of sleep consistently! I used to only get 5-ish hours of sleep. I can attest to this wisdom of getting good sleep that Bryan is sharing has changed my life right along with eating healthy food!
    * I have come to the conclusion that sugar is a poison. *Do yourself a huge favor and just quit sugar. Period! The cravings have completely gone and the thought of eating a bowl of ice cream makes me think, yuck! If you don't have that reaction to consuming processed sugar, you are likely addicted to this potent poison.
*I do not have the monetary funds to do what Bryan has done. HOWEVER, I have been able to buy healthy organic food and eat only healthy food!
*eating healthy food has given me the gift being free feom brainfog, zero cravings for the toxic poison of refined sugar and processed packaged food.
*I didn't have enough energy to commit to exercising. The sugar detox gave me the energy to start exercising.
I'm 62 years old. I got myself a mini trampoline. I now jump on the trampoline for 30minutes daily with wrist weights. I had lost a lot of my muscle mass and the trampoline and wrist weights have restored my muscle mass.
*If are struggling with feeling like crap and addicted to sugar, you can really do this.
*Start with detoxing from ALL refined sugar. I had a fatty liver diagnosis. Sugar is killing us. Quit sugar!
I needed the help from a PTSD therapist because of all the trauma I experienced in the Mormon Church!
And that trauma PTSD ruled my life for way too long.
*However, I had a deep desire to feel whole and happy and healthy. I have achieved it and so can you.

So many nuggets. The "self-destructive removal", how we are engineered, and having the programmed discipline to choose the best version of yourself. I loved the "How can I achieve world peace inside our body between our organs and our minds. It speaks to the necessity of organ synchronicity and the ability to automate and systematize the best habit, behavior, and mindset. The first goal: the goal of alignment of ourselves", is brilliant, yet, thought-provoking. Focusing on organ "signatures" that are standardized as "optimal" based on Bryan's personal biomarkers. Which is a great baseline to be able to strive for. Removing the "self", which by implication, suggest an organ unified, blueprint. Makes sense. The second goal, after "blueprinting" (to be used as a verb), is the widespread availability of this age-lengthening, and "REGENERATING" strategies. Will be interesting to see how mainstream it really can become, with so many obstacles, one of them being the albatross of overcoming the way society engineers, reinforces, and rewards unhealthy, age-accelerating mindsets and habits, and the toxic world in which we live. Thank you for so much insight and such a natural conversation.

Spending half your day on health to get 20% older than average. Sounds strange. The only longevity guys I am willing to listen to are 110+ years old. And you know, they exist, without all this mumbo-jumbo. They'll tell you: Be happy, be lucky. Enjoy life.

"Does your life suck?" Tom has the ability to ask exactly the questions we think about simply, assertively and directly. This guy seems to have come out of a distant reality in the future, from posture (something Tom has to review) calmness, to the way he articulates his thoughts and builds the sentences.

If you really listen to everything Bryan is saying, he is a pioneer of how humans will eventually operate. Bottom line, everyone will be healthy both physically and mentally, hardly any disease, and have more time to enjoy their lives and take care of the planet. I would say it would take 3 generations to get 80% of the population on board. Think of how much money could be saved on sick care, mental care, and human suffering attached to those alone. ❤

@@jasonwestwood7092I think the best is eating sugar in moderation, sugar is not bad unless you have diabetes, are addicted to sugar or have an illness/condition/allergy to sugar.
That Japanese woman probably had soft drinks in moderation, 1 or 2 glasses a day, not entire coke bottles like some people do
