      Holistic just means complete or while it doesn’t mean gentle or natural (although Botox weirdly is a “natural” product).

    • @VAHZGEN
      @VAHZGEN 3 роки тому +5

      @@clarecrooks8123 while holistic means treating the body as a whole and not just treating the symptoms while injecting doesn't exactly fit that definition. And as far as you claiming botox is natural, it's "basically made from the bacteria that causes botulism, otherwise known as botulinum TOXIN type A." It does state that it can have side effects which is why it's normally suggested that patients do a patch test.

Drinking water for skin elasticity, eating balanced, and having joy, really helps with the aging process. I will start using sunscreen more now to preserve my skin even more.

Treat your face, neck and décolletage all as one and when your 50 those areas will still look like they did when you were 30. I a 54 and I have zero wrinkles on my neck and chest area. Do it 2 days, 2 days, 3 days, 5 days in that order so you get used to it and you study how your body reacts to it.. Searcg this here in YT, The Science of Fasting so you understand more the authenticity of this process. It's better to consult your doctor about it. I appreciate your honesty about certain procedures being painful...or even painful because you can't numb the area being treated.
    Now, a video for expectations about how long people can expect these treatments to last (as in a range). Thank you!

    I’m 41 but The treatment he recommended for my age group seems a bit excessive BUT I love to know what’s out there and where I’m expected to be at my age...I will look into Refirm based on this information....thanks so much Doc😊

    Microneedling ruined my skin!!! It gave me acne rosacea! I wish I never got it done. I use to have great skin then my esthetician suggested I get microneedling. I got that done three times with six weeks in-between each treatment, upon her advice. I also got some broken capillaries on my cheeks and some around my nose (both of which I never had before). Now I have to fork out the money to try and fix the damage she's done. I don't even know if it can be fixed. I've been to see doctors and specialists, but there's no magic fix. They've all said that anyone with sensitive skin shouldn't get this treatment done.

      yeah I bought a dermaroller once and it put little tares across my skin in lines. Took months to go. This time I bought a dr pen dermastamp to avoid the tearing which has been a lot better as hasnt damaneged my skin like the roller however I do feel one of my fine lines has become more enhanced right after although others seem improved. Am hoping it wil improve my sagging skin. So far have only done two sessions and feel it may be a bit better already

    • @AwesomeCakeDesigner
      @AwesomeCakeDesigner 4 роки тому +1

      @@audreaaftayev535 I'm sorry that happened to you too. I'll tell you what I've done and maybe that will help you. First of all, don't go to another beautician, like I did. They just want to make money out of you and don't care if your skin gets worse. Actually it's good business for them if your skin gets worse as they'll suggest facials and many creams for you to use. All those things are terrible for Rosacea! I've only learnt all that since the damage happened to me and I started doing a lot of research about it. The microneedling destroyed my skin's acid mantle. When that happens it increases your chances of skin damage, infection, bacterial growth and acne! Depending on the damage, it can take a very long time to heal.
      The skin specialist put me on a very low dose of the antibiotic, Doxycycline. I was taking one tablet a day for about seven months. Then I cut it down to three times a week, and then once a week. Now I've stopped it altogether. I hated being on antibiotics, but the acne was very bad. I only washed my face once a day with a very mild cleanser and very little moisturiser. Sometimes I'd wash and moisturise every second day. The less you handle your skin, the better. You're trying to give it time to repair itself. Be very gentle when you wash your face and pat the moisturiser on very gently. I didn't use a scrub for a very long time. I still don't use one regularly and when I do, it's a very light and gentle touch. You don't want to aggravate the skin further. It's been a year and eight months since I had the needling treatment and the acne has cleared up a lot. I still get the odd pimple, but I don't touch it. I let it heal alone. Unfortunately the redness is still there, but not as bad as before. I only put some eye shadow in rare cases, otherwise I don't wear make up. Clinique has a cleanser for Rosacea. I didn't like their moisturiser though. I found it too drying. I've been using Synergie Skin. In that range, I use the Ultra Cleanse, Vitamin B serum (very little), and Uber Zinc (also a very small amount).
      My advice to you is go to your doctor and get his/her advice. Use a mild cleanser and moisturiser. Be patient while your skin heals. Keep your face out of the sun. The skin specialist told me that laser treatments help with the broken capillaries, but they too are risky so I won't be getting any of those. I'm very cautious now.
      All the best Audrea!

      AwesomeCakeDesigner yes, it sounds like she overdid it. I’ve had this happen before with over aggressive treatments on my skin. Over time, if you treat your skin well, you can repair it yourself at home. Try using something with growth factors. I really like Le Mieuxs Rx Serum. (I’m an licensed Esthetician, 25 years).

      Oh God really. I love microneedling . Really helped some lines on my cheek after only a hand full of treatments. Did it carefully myself after advice from aesthetics nurse and a lot of research. Only used 0.5mm wouldn't use more than that on face

    I had Ultherapy at age 56 - cost: 2,600. Two hours and painful with no visible results. I did face tite and neck tite at age 57 ( a year later) cost: 6,000 - I kid you not - no results. None. Went to a different dermatologist at 59 and she told me the truth: 'Once you can move the skin upwards to get the "look" you want, at that point, you need SURGERY. You will not be happy with the results of any other procedure." Finally, someone told me the truth instead of taking my money. I wish I had not wasted my hard earned money on those procedures that probably would work best for someone in their mid -forties. And no, my skin is not horrible - in fact, I would say above average for my age.

      Isn’t there some kind of a law against? if anything, a Woman’s face or anything for that matter it’s something she has to live with wouldn’t you consider that medical malpractice neglect, misinformation or malpractice already said that… It’s actually fraud honey. It’s considered a fraudulent statement. I do believe there’s a law that is admissible as a matter fact it wouldn’t even have to go far it’s bad enough that you were Loan can ruin a reputation. It would not be defamation either because it’s deserving with this doctor did because he was not being forthcoming with you to make money. I am so sorry for what happened to you. I don’t think that you should leave this one alone that’s a lot of money. Do you know what honey if it won’t break you it’s not worth the stress, but if this was a do or die for you, as far as this was your only shot my goodness that is more than enough reason to fight I feel for you, because I am fighting for Dr. withholding information from me. It would’ve made my life different. In my case she not only held back information that was crucial, but lied about my insurance covering reconstruct. His fear is Drey because I wanted to double mastectomy and she talk me out of it telling me my insurance wouldn’t cover it. She lied. It’s not only caused a lot of trauma, but the health problems are so outweighing the cosmetic appeal of it all that I thought would get me more depressed than I already was but it’s not even an issue anymore. It turned into some thing that affected my health shortening my life it’s been a nightmare as sick as I am I am fighting all alone. I am ignored, neglected, abused, and everything else because I am disabled and because they can. but I’m still fighting. I am hoping one day the right person reads my email and chooses to help me. This is far past political it’s serious, but yet it doesn’t matter I have no voice. I’m not sure how to feel about that I feel I have no rights. I can’t believe this is happening in this country but I have a lot of energy and what is happened to you and I am sympathetic toward the fact that not everybody has that kind of black tree and even if you did I’m sorry, but that wouldn’t of made a difference at all. For what it’s worth do it and you will see how many women join you they’re just waiting for that one brave person to start and I’m really sorry this happened to you. I would never let this go only if you can afford it because honey- stress will kill you. I am going to send vibes your way and hope everything works out and that you were just delighted with the outcome. That’s my wish for you and we both have the same taste. We know a good doctor we see one I love this guy he’s honest if only he understood that if he does more pro bono work, good things come back to him, it was supposed to be funny. I hope he took it that way if he read it, but it was just a joke. Good luck to you sweetheart the best man always wins you will see that you will win one way or another. And can you imagine if the doctor sees this it just so happens to have the time and it’s been a while since this pro bono and he chooses you nothing is impossible you never know what’s inside of that chocolate right? That’s what I’m hoping will happen out of this I always wake up with hope and then I go to bed defeated, but I always wake up with hope again. Have a wonderful, wonderful life. And in closing I have always believed that when something is not happening smoothly furthermore obstacles that are far too many that means it’s not meant to be and maybe this is a blessing in disguise. ❤ I am visually impaired. I hope you can figure out why the sentences are running together and know where to put those commas and dots if not I’m sorry you had to go through this. Have a good night.

    I had Ultherapy. It was excruciating. It also doesn't work, and, in fact, is known to remove some much needed fat in the face.
