Thank you for the honest review. I've been eyeing this phone because of the specs are amazing for a 200.00 unlocked phone. 6gb ram, nice chip for the money. I get the feeling that most of the people dissing the phone, never even owned it. What I believe is, reviews cannot account for taste. One person may love it, the next may hate it, and that goes for all technology. A big plus is the lack of bloatware that most flagship consumer mobile phones have today. Your review is helping me determine my next phone purchase, because I can't afford a thousand bucks for a phone. This one has amazing stats for the price. Compared to the LG V40 Thinq, I believe I like this one more because of the lack of useless software which the V40 will not allow you to remove/disable without rooting. The 3ds like screen looks cool too, not sure I'd use that feature every day, but so long as it plays Blades, I'm probably going to buy it.
Most reviews are based on when it was freshly released at $1500, the software wasn't ready and there were no camera mods as promised. Combine that with the super heavy duty size means that it's not for the average Joe. The 4V is something no other phone has and the design is out of this world. Depends what you want really. Some people drive 25 year old Jaguar, others drive 10 year old Golf and claim the Jag is trash...
I mean I got mine for 200 brand new and I'm loving it. It can also double as a fucking weapon, you could literally kill someone by chucking this thing at them.

For some reason, phones that have a box shape looks really appealing to me. I only owned lumia 920 and Razer phone 2 which are both boxed shape
There's something about them.
The iPhone 4s is also a great box (with rounded corners). I wish there were mid-spec Android devices made in that shape. The closest so far was the Essential Phone.
I just picked up a Titanium one. Still in the box and unused. I love it. Sure, it was a bit pricey on release. It is pretty nice, but it doesn't floor me. It's pretty incredible as far as build and looks though. It's gorgeous.

do both the titanium and the aluminum come in the silver metal color or is aluminum black only and the titanium silver only, i love the silver color , eveyr othe reeview i ahve sen was the black version
I have no idea to be honest but it doesn't matter. What matters is that the paint on the black one scratches relatively easily and the silver underneath becomes visible. No such issues on the silver one.
@@VoloKinProject ok i think i figured it out watch unbox therapy video on this phone, the silver is the more expensive titanium version, though i am not really sure if there are any other differences besides the color , metal used ,like better internals ,specs or features on the more expensive titanium one

@@shaunigothictv1003 it's already going away so most new flagships will be notch-less where a teardrop notch will remain in mid and low range phones for a good 2-3 years.

Just bought one for 180$ on ebay, that makes with Shipping to Germany and Tax about 240-250€, but compared to an Finepix Real 3d w3 or an Panasonic 3d1 it's still a better option in my opinion. You can shoot 3d in the near field because of the smaller IPD and have the better Resolution compared to all of the 3d Phones that where released till now. Plus a mouch better Screen. Even if the Android gets old, there's pretty mouch no better, higher res compact 3d Camera out there if you don't want the Distortion of a VR Cam or the Bulk of a proper Steteo Rig.

@@free_gold4467 Sorry but that's not true, You can Always Just post an animated GIF or a Stereo Pair, If You are willing to edit the Photos in Your PC You can also do so with Stereophoto Maker That officially supports the Hydrogen, and that way the Possibilities are even bigger. Facebook3d, Anaglyph and such are Always an Option. And If You want a Device that's available now, brand new You could buy a LumePad.On the new LeiaPix App You can even Order Lenticular 3d Prints If You live in the States.

As average cell phone user, Red Hydrogen One is a great phone. No matter what all the professional UA-camrs say.
The 3d camera is not perfect but very close. Might not use it ever day but I'll have it ready in my pocket when I do.
The size is just an illusion. Its size is the same as a Samsung Note 8 with case.
The weight is also subjective. I've carried the Hydrogen with no additional problems than when I carried a Note 8.
Price is the only real arguable issue. That is now resolved with Red having the aluminum & titanium for $399 & $649, respectively.
You are crazy not to purchase one, now that the price issue is resolved.
Some people just have to hate it to justify getting the next, newer, shiny phone. Those people will never be satisfied with any phone.

@@VoloKinProject Hey, actual Red company had it on a extended black Friday promotion, but just ended on 12/11/19. Keep visiting because I'm sure they have something similar closer to Christmas. I got a titanium one for $649,and that price it an incredible phone. I've been extremely happy with it .

Hydrogen died because of a few things.
Most people don't like heavy phones. They are most famous for their cameras, but they decided not to put a red camera into the red phone. And the 3d is crap.
BUT now on ebay for 330 new, or 180 used, it is still a powerful phone with a big battery, and it doesn't look like everyone elses phone

@@VoloKinProject The 4v cameras are a gimmick at best. They never worked fully as intended and no one uses it for anything. That's why no other manufacturer would ever implement it.
Btw try to take of the stickers for the front speakers, you have a surprise waiting🤣
That's exactly what the whole phone is about. If you don't want 4v you buy something else.
@Eden Vladia unique phones can't be reviewed as any other normal phone especially when it comes down to price, that's the mistake most reviewers made when they got their phones delivered. It's a niche phone and it's not a daily driver by any means, but again it cheaper than the average iPhone.

If you may, I would disagree regarding LG brand, in my community almost all LG users had the BOOTLOOP issue, and it's amazing how no one is talking about it!!!
LG G4 days are long gone my friend which was mostly SD808 fault anyways.
That was the one shitty review. You have a whole category for headphones, which has the same importance as software or cameras.. And if this is one of your all time favourite phones, you lose all credibility. If you guys really want to love this phone, and that's why you're here, just don't. Go watch ANY other review, where the host doesn't relly entirely on having a different opinion than "those big UA-camrs"....
I ain't gonna waste my time trying to explain to you the importance of each category as all of them form an overall "greatness" of a phone and yes, it's not a brilliant phone for the masses but it was never intended to be. You've got a 3D cameras no other phone has and considering it was like $400 brand new last Black Friday it is helluva phone for the money. The "big UA-camrs" obviously didn't get their checks from Red...but feel free to follow the rest of the sheep spending $1500 for an iPhone every year just to blend in.

Perhaps I was a bit too mean, but since you actually pay attention to the comments, take some constructive criticism and fix your categories. And that IS a friendly tip. Also, it's not fair making assumptions with 0 information. I am not an iPhone user. Plus I switch phones once every 3-5 years, and I do consider many factors when making my choice. Being defensive (and offensive at the same time) is not an argument. Also, I watched the review a couple of days ago, so I might be wrong, but did you even mention the chipset of the phone? Come on.. And no, the headphones are not as important as the software.

It´s seems that you were paid, this phone is so bad with snapdragon 835 for that price the minimum was 845 that kills the phone and the price, i so bad that is in offer in Mexico with Telcel in 300 dollars today new... The 3d of 4V dont worth paying a lot of money...
It's not worth to you if you not gonna use it anyways. SD835 is totally fine considering its running stock android. However, if you have the chance to buy it brand new for 300 bucks and you don't then you're officially mental.
