- One day in Solvang California | As we roadtrip California, we decided to make a stop in a very unique little city named Solvang.
Solvang is a city in California that is actually known as being the Danish Capital of America! This city is located in Santa Barbara County, in the Santa Ynez Valley. There is so much charm and character in this city that you won't ever want to leave! Solvang is known for it's Danish architecture, winery's, Church's and SO MUCH MORE!
In this video, we bring you along to explore the town, food and other fun things in the area that you can't miss!
Following along on our journey of full time travel as we continue to make our way north on the Pacific Coast Highway on our journey to Alaska!

FYI - Solvang is not a destination spot. It's only for stopping by on your way up or down the coast for a couple of hours only.
I’m so happy I started doing more research. I was gonna book a hotel for 3 days 😭 all I need was a couples hrs I would have been so bummed out

Danish…not Dutch. This video starts so terrible I stopped watching it right away and left this message. Imagine a video about similar city in France but American themed and the first words are “Welcome to the Canadian capital of France”…I’m from Denmark. We are not Dutch. Dutch people are from the Netherlands.
