It was because of the axe comment. Other people have gone through for the first time and not gotten pulled over or searched. That was a lie they used to get you to pull over. They were searching for weapons, contraband, etc.

Funny. My wife and I just met with Jared yesterday to mearsure boxes and garage for our 2025 Cirrus 920 on our 2024 F550 84CA. We have enought room to fit a 30" garage cabinet with the headache rack installed. We are also doing the false wall cabinet. We are super excited for our project. Highly recommend Jared, StableCampers.

Do you know your total weight fully loaded and what your GVWR and payload capacity is? I’m so torn between a truck camper with an F350 or F450. I know the 450 turns way better but the F350 has a higher payload.

This is exactly what I want to do, I am thinking on possibly getting the 920 but I am currently looking for a truck. Good job guys. Enjoy!

Homer is great, but Seward is the small town Alaskans go to for that small town feel. Homer is good for halibut fishing and Steelhead out of the Anchor River. You mentioned in your description that you have been all over Northern Alaska. That would be difficult considering most of northern Alaska is dirt roads not even Alaskans will drive on. Fairbanks isn't considered north. That is about as far as most people get.

I hope you didn’t find out about heavy sand dollars like I did! I filled the back of my truck with ocean treasure back when I was your age, and went home and parked in the garage. Ugh! Three days later I opened the garage. The sand dollars had expired. What a terrible smell!!!

Do you have problems with insurance with the F450? I've heard some have issues with it not being a commercial vehicle.
