I'm here for Sisi's food reviews - she can have a great food review channel when she's older (maybe supplant the best in the biz, Sonny, from the "Best Ever Food Review Show"). She is becoming a total mini Duong right before our eyes in looks and demeanor (whereas Rolly is a mini Nate). Absolutely adorable!
Great video; looking forward to the next in the series. The crispy rice salad looks intriguing. You should try to recreate it as well as the chickpea fritters. Love when your kids give their reviews of the food.
I think its really cool that you involve the kids in your videos and let the kids be kids and not force them to be fake in front of the camera. Family time is vitally important ❤
Okay I’m stoked for this series!😍 This was so entertaining to watch!! What camera microphone is that, Queen? It works so well I want one for my content 😌🤎 So much love your way! 🧚🏽♀️✨
Love this style of travel videos! Are you guys going to do more trips? Like to San Diego, Ventura. Come to Tucson, Arizona! Nate will love all the burritos there 😂
Enjoyed vid and looking forward to visit in October from dirty San Francisco. Those places looked delicious, but I'm grabbing that famous Santa Barbara Uni. Cheers 🍻 🎉
I always LOVE your videos and transparency! My husband and I are rooting for you , this channel and your family! 🫶🏼💖🥹 Also, I always love you outfits too 🙈 If you don’t mind sharing, where is the crochet top from ?🫶🏼 Thank you!
Love this video! Can you link the Crochet Sweater you wore on day 2? This looked like a perfect getaway. I may take the train from San Diego to check out Santa Barbara. Thank you!
Love Santa Barbara everything looks amazing i so want to retire there honestly its so centrally located and the weather is amazing i live in Gilroy and we have been looking for awhile your video really makes me want to just do it LOL LOL !! Love your swaeter !! Happy Exploring
That egg sandwich looked so good. Try and recreate that one. I have a recipe from Molly Yeh where she makes egg sandwiches and she makes the eggs in the oven and she cuts them into several rectangles to put on the sandwich. I think it looked like that but they used a brownie pan or something thicker. Or they puréed the egg mixture in a Vitamix.
I am Santa Barbara born and raised, live here still. Nice variety on the food and locations. Why no seafood on a FOOD tour in a town surrounded on 3 sides by the ocean?
That perfect rectangle of egg looks just like the steamed egg preparation I've done before I put the eggs in a greased loaf pan, then that pan goes in a deeper one and hot water is put into the bottom pan to create a water bath, then it Cooks for like 20 minutes I think😅
Thanks for taking us along your family vacation and eating tour!!! Do you have a recipe for the Tea Salad??? I've had it at Burmese restaurants, but haven't successfully made it taste authentic. the flavors are so fresh and the texture fabulous!! So glad to see the kiddos enjoying their meals! Can you do an RV trip so you can suggest easy, tasty, delicious meals to make in a camper or campsite?
BTW, I'm loving this trip. Whenever I hear Ojai, I think "Easy A" now. 😂 The coffee roaster place is fancy...but was it worth the money? I mean, the decor on the cups are top notch, but are the drinks worth it in taste or are you paying for the ambiance/aesthetics? That avocado toast was totally NOT worth $10, though. I was confused about that Burmese place...are they SE Asian or Indian or Mediterranean? That salad looks like what a Vietnamese person would eat, but then they had the lamb skewer and naan. I looked at the map and I guess they're considered SE Asia but they're also closer to India geographically than other SE Asian countries....lamb skewer was probably just them tossing that in because they are nowhere near the Middle East and wanted to be hip. LOL! Love your knitted top hot pink dress.
