Thanks so much Hector! We would love to film a vlog in Houston! Adam is originally from there and we plan to spend a couple days there at the end of next month before we hit the road in our van. We really want to film a vlog there if we have enough time! What places should we check out?
Adventures of A plus K Awesome! I didn’t know Adam is from here. There are so many places we’d like to recommend, here are a few off the top of my head: Tornado Burger (philly cheese & spicy burgers are excellent) Jenivi’s Seafood Shoppe & Restaurant (Viet-Cajun Seafood & excellent crawfish) Star Pizza Tiny’s Boxwoods (formerly called Milk & Cookies) (Coffee & great chocolate chip cookies) Les Givral’s (Vietnamese & highly recommend Vietnamese Iced Coffee) The Breakfast Klub (breakfast - wings & waffles/catfish & grits) Tacos El Gato (recommend Machetes) Bubba’s Texas Burger Shack Agora (coffee shop) If we think of more we will let you know! More excuse for y’all to come down again 😜
Wow thank you so much! What a list! We see tacos on there so we already love it 😉 Hopefully we will get to check out a couple spots soon, but if not, we will just have to go back! 😋
@@AdventuresofAplusK thank you. I also have a question. Is it good to rent a car out there? Not sure how parking is in Austin. Or is Uber better?...I'll be heading to Houston too but wasn't sure if I'd do bus or rent a car for the week.
You could get by using Uber, but it might be just as much or more than renting a car. It depends on what you're planning to do and where you're staying. If you're staying downtown and don't plan on leaving the area much then you could just do Uber. But if you plan to go to other areas then you'll want to rent a car. Same with Houston. Houston is massive so renting a car will probably be the best thing there. Renting a car is probably cheaper in Houston vs Austin as well.
