I love to see Emily working with the children! She has so much patience with them. It's so nice to see!
You guys have the best informative videos.Had a 77 model but could have done with a 4 speed auto.Emily you are an absolute treat. From melbourne Australia
You both really get along working together, great to see how much you LOVE
each other, in a always stressful environment as a garage is.
You look just as amazing with glasses.... But, i got to say i just love your passion for wrenching.
And how you guys bring people together. plus the involvement
with the kids.
Gotta love when the garage munchkins can get in there and help out. I love that you guys are getting the next generation into wrenching.
Especially with cars getting more and more difficult to work on nowadays. It's GREAT to see young ones actually getting excited and enjoying themselves wrenching on cars.
I have not watched the video yet, but just seeing your smile has cheered me up immensely.
Aunty Emily is the Coolest Aunty Anywhere! Lol that was fun!
Nothing is quite like an old Ford truck. Got a driveway full of 'em. Great stuff. Safe travels on Power Tour.
Who would’ve thought she was a truck girl??? Great content ladies n gents, especially the lil helper!!!
I'm thinking a new T Shirt is in order... "Emily's Automotive Day Care" "Bringing 'em up right since 2013 !"
This is quite possibly your best video ever, well done!
Love getting the little one involved :-) Keep up the good work!
Love a Good Family Truck Story.. My GF. has a cool old family ford truck that has been in her fam forever.. I got to help her bring it back to life.. Great Feeling... Glad to see this Red Truck get a new trans.. Hope he has fun on Power Tour..
I absolutely love this episode! Like many times before.... I find myself smiling watching your videos and I don't even realize it! Keep doing what you're doing! I hope your new show is only HALF this good as this episode was!
Thank you soooo much for this nice comment!!!! I absolutely LOVE hearing this feedback!
The TV show will be different in a handful of ways but it’s STILL US!!! The first season is always hard anyway- but we are SUPER PUMPED ABOUT IT!!
amazingly awesome how good and patient you are with the kids...BRAVO
Just found this series this morning. Then I see this episode. Teaching the lil ones the love of wrenching!
Can’t wait to binge watch the rest and dang I realllly need to get a scription for MT!
That was a great video, had me laughing out loud! Great to see the youth of tomorrow turning wrenches and getting the love for working on the old stuff in their blood. I have a couple of old school rides, a 76 F100 4x4 with a 390 and a 74 Toyota Landcruiser with a 350 small block. Lots of Fun to fix them yourself.
I was just a tad older than your young man when my dad first put a wrench in my hand. One of the best things he did for me.
My first truck was actually a 74 F-100.
from the 50's those wheels are my favorite hands down !!!
Thanks for always making such fun, family oriented shows btw! You guys rawk! 😎🎸
OMG this episode made me cry the story about your dad. I mean wow what a great guy..
Great episode! So cool that you are teaching the little one some skills. So wish someone would've taught me at that age. 👍🏻
Dude. I love the videos. great to see a lovely face, not just to look pretty, but actually know how to wrench and understand what she is doing.
Your interaction with the kids, and not only passing on knowledge but getting them involved is awesome.
Best episode so far, Teaching the littlens is what its all about...
Love it when I see anyone keeping the "old" Iron rolling down the highway as Daily Drivers.... Nice job you guys... Good Luck with the new show,, and glad you'll keep doing FSG....
thats awesome my 79 f350 dully is called jenny, great to see the little man get to wrench on his daddy's truck, enjoy all your guys vids :)
Very nice episode. Love seeing little Jack helping too.
Wooo! Been waiting for this one! What an amazing history to the truck. So cool!
Really appreciate showing the kids working and learning. Did that with mine when they were young and now both my sons are better mechanics than I am and I've been wrenching for near 60 years. Although I still am better on the older vehicles (pre 1975)
Creating a gear head for life! Good job Emily!
It’s always the story behind the car or truck that endears us to them, and this story couldn’t be much cooler. ❤️ Also, watching Jax wrench on Jennay made it get “very dusty in here” if you know what I mean. 😥 It just doesn’t get any better than watching your kid get excited while wrenching on a car with you. GREAT episode guys! 👍🏻
Great how to for older trucks. I'm rebuilding a 1977 Thunderbird because I love these cars and they are out of the box cars. Plus, it is a reskinned Torino, so it is a cross between luxury and sports car.
You said "Lord Jesus it's a fire" LMAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow this is similar to my truck!
Kids, cars, and good people, cant beat it!
Good luck on the power tour! Great video 👍
That is the best video I have ever watched.
It's amazing how a new set of wheels and tyres can make a vehicle, that if we are honest, is a bit beaten up, look so bloom'n awesome.
Next time I get a beater, I'm definitely going to do the new wheels and tyres thing.
Great video guys and girls...
Thumbs UP...
cheers.
Emily when the time is right, IF the time ever comes and y'all decide to, YOU WILL BE AN AWESOME MOM... But if kids aren't in YOUR future YOU ARE STILL AWESOME with kids and cars/trucks.. Luv y'all.
Emily good job teaching the young ones! We need to make sure they can fix things!
Great video. Love the 78/79 fords. Great job guys. Wasn't sure about 20s on it but they look good on her . I had never seen anyone take the transmission out of one of them without pulling the exhaust and the suspension crossmember before . A big block bellhousing won't fit out through there without taking them out .
Emily is the “Sparkle Muffin” on this show. Good going girl.
LOVE you guy's greatest family channel... heaps of love from OZ :).
This is one of the best video's I have seen and I'm lovin Emily I just did the same setup in my 95 F150 Flareside with the 302 and the built early AOD trans but also made the truck in to a 4x4
Good to see my man Jax! Miss him from the Power Tour but I have my ROCK he gave me!
Kevin Singleton We miss ya buddy, we’re having dinner with my family tonight and we were telling Power Tour stories and the Sunbird burnout was included!!!!
Ha! Tell him his Sunbird buddy said Hi! :-D
Great truck history and your lovin on it since sixteen.
Love the truck! My favorite Ford body style. I have a 78 also.
The little guy and your niece need their own youtube show about helping in the garage or maybe stuff kids can do to maintain their bikes etc. Torque Tykes or something! Too cute!
That 53-56 Ford truck in the background looks sweet.
What a great back story! Keep up the awesome work!
It was Very Honorable of your Father to help that young lady out the way he did =)
Good vid. Nice to see Jackson having a go.😉💪👍👍
Awesome, another homerun guy's! 🤘🏽
Awesome pickup Guys 👍👍Great show too. Cheers.
Great episode, cool truck! And yeah, gotta teach the young one's. Good job!
Love this episode!! I have a 1977 F250 (my first vehicle) that has a 400 with a C6 in it and I would love to have overdrive! It runs about 3000 rpm at 75
I was 16 around 2003 as well so that's awesome I can relate to wrenching ony dad's good ole 1969 Ford F-100 with a 3_onthe tree and 360 w I think a 4bbl carb! 😎😊
Emily, your smile is contagious.👍👍😎
Great stuff!
I love how you all laugh love life love your videos
And that guy's son is awesome and full of energy I'm glad you can control it to take some parts off
A helpful tip: when removing or installing the bell housing bolts use a 3 to 4 foot 3/8 drive extension with a swivel socket and stand by the tail shaft to use. If used with air impact all bolt will be out in 5 minutes or less. Thanks for the show.
Note to self, take engine and trans out together for t5 swap!
Great episode! You guys are awesome!
Great video Emily thanks for sharing have a wonderful day
Flying Sparks Garage
Adorable little boy!
Nice truck. What power tour did you go on? I had my ‘78 on 2015 & 2016 power tour. Wish I had an AOD. Big block with C6 does about 11-14 mpg. I’m jealous.
Got an AOD on my junky v8 supra. They aren't bad, I just hate how you have to do an odd shift to get second gear right after 1st.
Holy crap, I felt every second of your guys pain pulling that old transmission out.
Nice video awesome truck! I love you two videos. That truck is awesome too
Great days to you all on the tour !
Yes it should be that hard. I have the same issues with my c6 trans on my 73 f100
Ps I don’t care for the new wheels....
Cool truck. So many C10s out there that the older fords really stand out. Those wheels look much better! The others were dated a bit. A little altitude adjustment (lower) and it will look mean! I've seen those trucks forever growing up and don't recall one that didn't have a dent in the front bumper like that.
Danny Compton. nope, it has to clear curbs..
Bummer....I still need mine to clear stuff as well, but its much newer and a stupid high tailgate. I just want to drop the rear to level it so I can get my dirt bikes in and out easier.
Damn, she has the prettiest smile!
I've got the same Aod in my 89 LTD, does james know how to do the AOD Shuffle? If not tell him to look it up it really utilizes all the low gears in the aod!! keep up the great work!!!
Always thought that frame support under the trans was dumb, along with the studs in the torque converter. Gm, once the converter bolts are out, converter is completely free of the faceplate. And after you remove the trans cross member, you have all the room in the world. If you're running the factory cross pipe, it has to come out or at least loosen it. And going back in, all you have to worry about are the two dowel pins on either side, rather than the converter studs on ford. And about every ford I've seen, the exhaust has caused clearance issues.
yeah Mopar is the same way it has bolts through the fly wheel into the converter once they are out the converter is free from the fly wheel I guess that's Ford for ya making things difficult LOL!
Glad your back!
1973-79 is my all time fav Fords
So awesome! Love this channel.
Nice wheel and tire choice. You guys sure say dude a lot down in Texas. LOL
I had a 76 just like that one. had a 302 with a 3 speed on the column. dang I miss that truck
Awesome truck! What size are those continentals? I have those same rims I'm going to put on my 65 F100 shorty
Nice video. I just recently purchased a aod transmission for my 77 f100. Do you have a video of how to properly set the pressure valve on this truck. Did you use the tv rod or the tv cable. Any help would be appreciated. And I’m running a 302 2 barrel
James, that old enamel will buff out amazingly well if you use some finess and a shiny finish will transform that old Ford.
Nice Ford. Really like the rim's. Good match. Keep on Keeping on. 🙏God Bless🙏.
You are truly a unicorn!

Torsee Thanks for the kind words!!
Torsee
Definitely Super..
Torsee relax loser
My daughter is always in the garage with me she loves working on the gto or the nova
You guys are awesome people
Jack is a lucky little boy!
Well done, what a crew.. 😊
You guys are awesome keep up the good work
i actually liked the original wheel combo but i dont hate the new 1s its still a cool looking truck
I was thinking the same thing. Some vintage Cragars would have looked great on that truck also.
Just watched this video and your fly-in video, and hit that subscribe button!
With a good polish that paint would probably look pretty good. I found that using a orbital polisher with liquid wax works best on old faded paint.
RCDS I agree. Something about old oxidized single stage paint that buffs so easily and looks great afterwards especially red. Buff that truck!
Great experience. Start em young👍
Great video but I cringe at some of the "wrenching". Here's some tips of what I do whenever I do any work on cars... Use impact tools on everything you can get to with impact tools. If you can't get to it with impact tools use a ratchet and socket. I f you can't get to it with a socket use the box end side of the wrench. If you can't get to it with the box end then, and only then use the open end of the wrench. The key to using impact tools is swivel impact sockets and the proper extensions. I used to pull transmissions out of trucks like that in 15 minutes.
#JamesRocks! Pickles and yogurt, is there something you're not telling us? lol
Hi, I am doing a build of a 69 f-100 with the same type of swap. Have fresh 89 mustang gt cobra engine. What fly wheel did you use, was the trans from a car or truck? I am buying new one any brand you guys recommend. Any info on the swap would be helpful. Thanks, I enjoy the show.
I can smell the burnt rubber from here. LOL!
So, what was the truck's mpg with the old trans versus the AOD's mpg? Please. Any idea what gear ratio the truck had? new rims look a LOT better...
curious about the 50? f100? in back ground.. I have a wrecked 2014 F150 with 5.0 auto 39k miles debating on what to do with it.. is that truck for sale or u interested in buying mine to mount your body on? I am in Fort worth tx. my truck is on craigslist silver hit in drivers side.. might make u a good deal if u guys will make a video of the build
