As a reasonably new subscriber I was initially interested in what they did with their boat, but it’s obvious they have very gifted hands and very hard working. Really enjoyed this episode which featured lots of interesting clips of their hard work, but what a lucky man he is, stunning beauty, great figure, modest and hard working everything a man could want in a woman and what man wouldn’t want her on their road trip, even if it was only around the block lol
I have enjoyed this series very much. I found a high desert 1984 ZX 2+2 it excellent condition mechanically. Had to replace window glass and repair as sand storms had severely pitted both paint and the glass. It only had 74k miles and the owner was disabled vet who didn’t trace much. What a fun project - I did refresh the engine and exterior which was a naturals tan leather and painted it for engine red. Drove on the LA freeways for 4-5 years
Great episode! So happy that we were able to catch up and make plans for PRI in Indy. Zen looked great in the Prestone booth, front and center at the SEMA show. Congrats to you and Aaron! Reaping the benefits of your hard work and determination. Can't wait for your SEMA special on Velocity.
Instantly subscribed due to how amazing Emily is. Then I saw the Monaro and was like "oh yeaah". And the Zen car is perfect. Im pretty disappointed in myself for not discovering this channel sooner.
Sure do appreciate this nice comment!!! With a lack of click bait and just good hearted content instead of crazy viral shit, it’s been a slow growth here on the UA-cams!!! Please share with your friends, it’s the best way for our reach to grow! ♥️👌🏼
I'm a new follower I started following on the wagon build and was hooked immediately. The Datzen is a beautiful car I dated a girl back in highschool who owned one and I loved the car more than her unfortunately. Your channel is one of my favorites I'm disabled now but I used to love working on cars and all of my friends and family used to take advantage of that but little did they know I loved it. Now I watch shows like yours to get my fix so thank you and your husband for making these videos. I would like to say that I love that you and your husband wrench together that is the coolest thing once again thank you and I am looking forward to seeing what you get into next. Lots of love see yaaaa...
Now I'm a little mad! I went to sema this year and i missed Zen and you guys! I even talked about you all to the Mantic clutch guys at the show. Always a good day to watch a new episode. Thanks
I'm hooked on your channel. In 1978 (a long time ago) I worked with a guy in Las Vegas who put a small block Chevy motor in his wife's 280z. It was actually in Hot Rod Magazine. The license plate was SUGARZ. At the time it was unique and way cool.
When you go to a show, get a full detail before you leave. Then wrap the car with a good cover. Then when you arrive final detail is a breeze. Another good vid. Looking forward to getting the poster.
It was nice to get up close and personal with your guys DatZEN. So many amazing rides this year. I can only hope that mine will be finished for next years Sema. I wish i could have said hi to you both.
Zen looking slick! The white letters really set it off. Have been subbed for a while now, and always enjoy, and look forward to the content! And yes, Albuquerque is beautiful. I lived and worked there for a year and a half, and was way different (in a good way) than I expected it to be, being a good ole mississippi boy! Keep up the good work guys!

very cool loved the trip video and what you have done with Zen... cant wait for more content. We are having fun shoving a 440 in a 73 Satellite/ Road Runner tribute. not alot of room in there. motor has to come back out for exhaust manifold replacement.
Thank you for the great videos started watching when u started the z-car and amazing what u did with it, truly inspirational! Look forward to meeting you and Aaron one day at a zip tie drag or some other epic event
Yaknow...Emily's gorgeous n all but I miss Roxy! Seriously though, showed some Flying Sparks Garage to my girlfriend showing her that if a woman like Emily can work on a cars...so can she and not to be afraid to get her hands dirty. Your a great role model, keep at it!

Awesome highlights to getting Zen ready! Hope you’re able to slow down a bit now post-SEMA. Great job! And those shots by @adrianberryhill are amaaaazzing! Convinces me that having the right camera (& talent) can really change your game! #respect
Great video! Can't wait to get our video edited and up. That drive was gorgeous and it was 30 hours for us 😫! The load in on Friday night was crazy chaotic, but loved having a car in the show, epic stuff for sure! Zen looked great in the Prestone booth!!! Can't wait to see the velocity footage!
I thought that Zen's stance looked different when I saw it on Sarah-n-tuned sema's video. But I just figured it was the camera angle being that she's 5'11" and it was a glance shot not a full walk around. Great video by the way like always top notch.
I'm behind on YT but glad I finally got to see this. SEMA prep ain't no joke haha. I am excited for you guys and the opportunties yall have made. I will continue to watch and support!
Oh man, you guys really need a good enclosed trailer to hold a car and some tools. But yes, those are expensive. Car looks great. Got the high res image i asked for in Instagram and by mail, will work on it soon !
Love the Z cars. I used to race a 1972 240z which was rebuilt to full on circuit racing specs. L28 engine with triple side draft Mikunis etc. Had 296 hp at the rear wheels on the dyno. Also owned a 280z and a 2009 350z. Great cars. 👌

Car looks great. I know one of the draws of your channel is you being hands-on Emily and that's great. If you hope to have a long life in the hobby, you may want to start wearing latex/vinyl/nitrile gloves. Your work-capable hands look great on you, but our skin is absorbent. And over time, those chemicals have an effect. I used to do it too. Now it's just a foregone conclusion -- glove -up and get to work.

Zen just keeps getting cooler and cooler! When you were at SEMA did you check out any of the diesel brothers' stuff? It's interesting watching different avenues of the automotive scene being in one place but never actually know who the other person is. Great stuff.
Great episode.....You guys should check out Adam's Polishes. They make a rubber cleaner that is not toxic that works awesome, and their metal police blows mother's away.
Hello Emily. I'm new to your channel, having seen the pictures you took with Sarah-n-Tuned. I saw your car at the SEMA Show and it is awesome. I'm subscribed and "notified," so I won't miss a single episode. Keep up the great work.
Emily & Aaron I really like your channel and the information that you provide. What a great couple you two make, best wishes to you always. Emily you are a beautiful creature, Aaron you're cute too but I like the ladies.
Headlamps would be a good investment. Headlights that you wear on your head. Lol. Don't want people to get confused. It is way easier than holding a light in your mouth and gaging.
Flying Sparks Garage Why not wrap the flairs? A friend of mine had the same fish-eye issue painting plastic, so he had them wrapped in high gloss black. It wasn't that expensive and I thought is was a great idea! Also: I'd use the Opti Seal on the velocity stacks interior/exterior. Love the show!
nice datsun, good to see some other locals who love cars. I'm also in DFW). love tracking/auto crossing my subaru. (the show on now 631 motortrend(velocity) 7:45pm 1/25/19.
How was that dinner? I’ve been deployed to Iraq since June. The food here is miserable, I miss fresh veggies and my mouth started watering when you were grilling. I know it’s silly and I should leave a comment about the 280 but you all know it’s an awesome ride! Miss seeing the GTO by the way! My favorite car! Love your truck too! My truck’s name is Orange Crush!
cw2lido The dinner was SO TASTY, goodness I wish I could send you yummy food there in Iraq. I’m so sorry and appreciate the insane sacrifices you guys and gals make daily for us. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Can we send any kinds of food???
Flying Sparks Garage I leave here in five weeks, the mail service is nothing like it was back in 2005-06. It takes almost eight weeks to receive anything. I was lucky to have one friend send me some coffee and a French press. Someone shared a small bag of Doritos yesterday. I had one chip and said out-loud that I forgot what they tasted like, they were so good! That’s probably pretty sad to say or admit. Watching your videos makes me feel human again. I want to thank you both for what you are doing and what the videos have meant for me personally!
cw2lido You’re legit making me cry dude, seriously. I get overwhelmed with my goals and commit myself to too much and get in my head a lot, your helping me too! That reminder that the shit I deal with is NOTHING compared to what you guys have to deal with CONSTANTLY. I cannot thank you enough for the comments, for watching and I’m so thankful it has helped you. Where will you return home to? HURRY UP 5 weeks!!
Flying Sparks Garage I will be headed home to White Plains, Maryland. My wife and I used to live in Vegas but moved to Maryland a few years ago. I was in the service for 15 years and forced out due to draw down. I found work contracting providing my services to the soldiers I once served with in uniform. I still love the Army and came out here to make sure everyone comes back home alive and in one piece! I am embracing the suck as much as they are and support them as best I can remembering those who gave their lives for our freedom. I know it sounds like some commercial but I love my country and the soldiers who serve our great nation. I just want to give back as much as I can and help where I am needed. I had dreams of turning wrenches and getting behind some builds of my own but duty calls and it’s helped my family take care of our special needs son. If I don’t do this who will? Watching your video made me cry, why? I don’t know, but seeing the two of you and your travels to SEMA reminds me of just how great our country. Thanks for taking time out of your day. I really appreciate it!
cw2lido Dude I just wanted to say thanks from a fellow vet who’s been in your shoes through 4 different tours there. My youngest daughter is always looking for someone to send care packages to and if you weren’t leaving soon we’d add you to our list. (I remember how exciting getting mail was. One time, out mail truck hit an IED and I lost a lot of care packages from home 😔) Anyway, stay safe, and know that those of us back home here - even fellow vets - appreciate what you’re doing. 👍🏻🇺🇸
