enjoyed the episode, love how genuine you are, and love that you're encouraging the next generation to get their hands dirty, that girl was so stoked to meet you, you are clearly an inspiration, can't wait to see you and your man working on the Nova
What you guys were doing in the sand is how we teach our kids to correct oversteer in the snow up here in BC. Go to the hockey arena parking lot and show them how to play. The RCMP don't mind us either - our kids are learning skills so they leave us alone! Love the videos.
Such a awesome episode!!! Love the old skool cars!! You did quite the awesome job with the donuts by the way!! Looking forward to seeing more of the Nova. Thank you for all the inside action and cool shots!! Keep em comin!!!
What a great time you guys had! Watching this video takes me back to my high school days and all the shenanigans I used to have in my '71 F100 - lots of donuts in the dirt and snow, etc. I really enjoy your channel! Keep the videos coming! 😎
So great, stumbeld into your clip on the CHEVY NOVA stationwagon!! Lot´s of memories came back ! Had an two-door HT back in the late seventies. Got it for just about nothing if I promised not to show up after leaving the garage........on my way back home I came to realize why. Since I´m living in sweden we have this thing of white fluffi things that drops down on us for like five months. In the end that means You have to know about welding .........I do now . Anyways .....great to see the work you´ve made on the NOVA WAGON . By the way ...did I mention you´ve got a fan from nowon i Stockholm ROCKON :-)
Emily is straight up a wonderful woman. She comes across like a professional and is so easy to get along with. And her knowledge is just stunning glad I found her page.
Great episode guys! It was fun to watch! Nice job with the editing too Emily! It really makes me happy to see you guys grow at this channel and seeing the fans come up... you guys are great people and deserve all the praise for both of your hard work! Im glad i got to meet u early on and get the privilege of watching this grow into something awesome. Congratulations! Best of luck to both of you too, u guys have that it factor.... 🖒✌😊
Malachi Stowe I sure appreciate that buddy!!!!! Means a whole lot, it's a lot of hard work but it's really something we feel is important for our personal fulfillment!!! Thanks for the support! ❤👊🏼
Loved the episode and loved all the awesome people that were a part of this! Hopefully I'll join this ragtag crew on a road trip in the near future-this sure made me want to go on that adventure more than ever!
Its settled, I'll see ya'll there! Besides, you guys need more people repping Fords from the looks of it. ;) Thanks for the awesome shows Emily & Aaron, its always fun watching the two of you and your shenanigans.
Michael Fredrickson So, whatcha bringing?! Be sure to find us and introduce yourself!!!! You can cruise with us for sure- we do need the ferrrrrrd balance, I suppose!!! 😅😜
That would be awesome! There is nothing like road tripping with the Hot Rod Family, right? I've been wanting to be a part of one of those trips for ages and its time I made it happen! Well, though its no AMC Hornet, I'll likely be bringing a 65 F100 (Its the one with the most potential of making it through a few thousand miles of road tripping-though Im tempted to build a janky mach 1 with tons of power and zero safety..we'll see what my courage provides.) What will you and Mr. Reeves be taking? Id personally love to see the Datsun but I know she needs a lot of work.
Michael Fredrickson That's what we'll be in!!!! We're taking the Z for our TEN YEAR wedding anniversary!!! She does need a ton of work, and she'll get it! She might not be 100% but she'll be on the tour!
sweetness , new fan here from savannah ga (and shop owner ) glad I found ya channel .. keep it up you two.. or three.. actually four.. cant forget finny..
Someday you will have a bunch of kids of your own, when they roll there eyes when someone says your mom was cool! You have video to prove it! Thanks for the video, your smile is worth the watch................
Ron is sooo cool driving my cars twin, that being a 67 El Camino in beautiful gray primer! I've been working on mine for 3 years and I still haven't gone to paint!
4:10 @Aaron,... actually, that kinda is what they do. For everyone reading,. ALL convertors have a stall speed, but for most, it's just high enough to allow the stock engine to idle without lugging at the lights, and build on to the torque curve before the full load transfers through to the transmission, something like 1200rpm. Race convertors allow the engine to spin much higher, so it can be closer to the torque peak before launching, and will launch harder when they engage, but below that, it'll feel like the transmission is slipping, and around town, it'll waste so much gas with the engine revving and the car going nowhere. They also allow a motor with wilder cam to sit and idle without that pulse through the drive train you see when blown alcohol drag cars are trying to ease their way through the pits, but jerk forward a few meters then slow, then jerk forward,..
im an old school shade tree mech, but also worked in foreign car shops, anybody that, picks up a car, you check the master cylinder, before you even move the car geez, its no fun going when you cant stop, you also check the front and rear brakes, and look for a fluid leak, you either fix it or park it till its fixed, the other stuff on the car can break but its not gonna kill you, if your lucky
Cheers from another HOT ROD family. We've been subscribed for a while but haven't had any time to watch anything untill now. I love your Zed. We have a 73 ourselves, and if you squint hard enough they look similar... except mines full of holes and has a small block. Not that you have time to read any of this, but we also have been unable to attend power tour due to the army and it's schedule, so I'm excited that you said in That video you'll be quitting the eye candy gig. Not that you don't look good, but you belong in the garage... not posing for photos. Or at least that's what we're getting from the videos... Anyways, cheers, keep it up. We have a terminally ill baby on the way, but Lord willing he'll be stable and we'll see you guys at zip tie drags or something if you guys show up. Hoping to bring our rust bucket Zed down...
Awesome episode. Big fan of your channel and Roadkill. Was planning to get from the UK to do this but an op on my heel meant no chance! Maybe next year. BTW how do I get hold of some of your stickers?
My old 727 mopar trans would have that shift hesitation when low on trans fluid, Believe what is happening is with the low fluid it takes a bit for the pressure to build up to engage the clutch plates. It would feel like the trans is slipping, then bang it engages giving a hard engagement and almost feeling like some kind of nasty high stall converter.. Cheers!
Nice episode looks really fon to road trip with all of you guys. I hope one day to be able to link up with yous guys for a fun trip. I will bring my C10 haha
Did the nova put down any numbers? Was it allowed on the track with all the oil leaks? I would have at least liked to see braking times as is after the filming of the master cylinder. lol.
Hey, i was an instant fan when i seen your vids. even more so when i found out you grew up in that tiny town!? small world. where were you when we were tearin up them streets?! haha!
Flying Sparks Garage thats crazy! yeah, graduated in'92 so i got a few years on ya! like i said, love the videos, & your determination & knowledge in the garage is unreal!
this is pretty cool! my first time checking out your channel and I'll be watching again. One thing bugged me though, is there an auto stabilizer on the footage? it keeps looking wonky and cropped in too far (I noticed when name keys were cut off). anyways, great to see more people doing awesome things with cars.
Shane Lansing Hey dude!! Thanks for the nice comment!! On the auto stabilizer thing- when I uploaded this episode, UA-cam did its little pop up thing and said it noticed shaky video and asked if I would like for it to stabilize said clips, and I opted for yes--- I just watched a clip with a name title and it does zoom closer as the clip nears the end, is that what you noticed?
At 10:40 I noticed the graphic that comes on screen is cut off on the left. I've never used UA-cam's stabilizer. It would be a cool test to see what it changes. Hope that helps :)
Shane Lansing That's odd! Are you talking about the screen shots of the IG posts or the titles where we're thanking Aaron Sellars for roadside assistance?
at 11:56 looks like the i10 in phoenix I'm from phoenix and everyone who grew up here holds their breath under that tunnel and if you make it all the way you make a wish its a phoenix thing lol
your every hot rudders dream wife!!!!felt like I was in the car with you doing those donuts....your so lucky to have gotten to meet freiberger and finnegan
I love how excited you are for all the young fans that come out and want to learn. Great job Emily.
enjoyed the episode, love how genuine you are, and love that you're encouraging the next generation to get their hands dirty, that girl was so stoked to meet you, you are clearly an inspiration, can't wait to see you and your man working on the Nova
stevenlee92833 That means a lot, thank you!!!! Certainly my intention to be authentic and it feels so amazing to feel like I'm inspiring people!!
Flying Sparks Garage, I'm just jealous of the Nova, lol. Nice score, and if I had the cash I'd be looking for a 71 just because I was born in 71.
stevenlee92833 you know that's what it is Emily and her husband are genuine don't see a lot of that anymore
I love how you guys are always so nice to everyone. The world needs more people like yall in it.

Awesome!!! So glad to see a video!! Looked like so much fun!! Love how you can use "because roadkill" for anything!!
Such a awesome episode!!! Love the old skool cars!! You did quite the awesome job with the donuts by the way!! Looking forward to seeing more of the Nova. Thank you for all the inside action and cool shots!! Keep em comin!!!

i find it hard to believe 15 inch tires are hard to find they are quite common here in Canada i have a bran new set on my polara
riflelord2 it’s not the rim/wheel size that’s hard to find, it’s the tire with and sidewall height that presents a problem.
hahaha, glad you guys had fun. See you at power tour again this summer.
BETER CRAZY THAN BORING,MY KIND OF GIRL! GREAT CONTENT.
I thought i saw you guys on the 10. We past you with our ChumpCar driving home from Chuckwalla.
Just meet you going to Seema, love all of your work, see you there
7:17 Love it when a '72 Nova makes a Porsche look like just another car in the parking lot.
im an old school shade tree mech, but also worked in foreign car shops, anybody that, picks up a car, you check the master cylinder, before you even move the car geez, its no fun going when you cant stop, you also check the front and rear brakes, and look for a fluid leak, you either fix it or park it till its fixed, the other stuff on the car can break but its not gonna kill you, if your lucky
Wow looks like a great time!!👍
Glad I subscribed! Awesome videos!!

boyoracer21 We need to get a merch store up for stickers and shirts!! We have some rad designs to unveil!!!
My old 727 mopar trans would have that shift hesitation when low on trans fluid, Believe what is happening is with the low fluid it takes a bit for the pressure to build up to engage the clutch plates.
