Arron your blessed to have such a happy, positive wife in your life. It is so funny to watch these fun filled episodes of you two. We have a Yorkie also. I laugh every day with her. She is our precious little nuisance. All the best.
I have a soft spot in my head for the LUV pickup trucks. My first truck was a 78 Longbed LUV and a 81 Shortbed a few years later. Sadly I was in a accident with the 81 and totalled it out. I really dig the fact you guys are running a diesel in yours.
As I have mentioned before (All thanks to you guys), I bought a power probe and it's now one of my favorite tools...Much love from Australia keep the videos coming we miss you guys too much :).
Back in the mid 80s my dad used to own a nursery in Marietta GA just outside of Atlanta and he had a first gen luv single headlights with a stretched frame, a 10' flatbed and a dually setup on the back. It also had that Isuzu diesel and a 5 speed. I used to drive the snot out of it and deliver nursery supplies in the summer when I wasn't in high school. I think it had a straight pipe exhaust because it sounded like a bumblebee in a gord when you wound it up tight. Great memories, luved that little truck.
Are used to do all my front in alignments the old fashion way, with a string. And I could get it more precise than any Machine. but I am new to your show but let me say that you and Aaron are doing a killer job.
I honestly don't know how people dont like you guys. You guys are great and even if its throwing an axle in it's still entertaining to watch you guys. Glow plugs are no big deal but still a great 22 minutes of video learning about a chevy luv with a chevette engine that makes no power 😂
Finley steals the show... Especially when laying down right in front of the camera ! Those Chevy Luv's all rotted away up here long ago... thanks for the memories !
I’am happy to see you Yorky is given a spot to watch you work. My Jack Russell always wanted to see what I was doing under the hood of the car but I never thought of making a spot for him. I did how ever pick him up to show him what I was doing and explain the situation to him! He crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago. I still miss Jack!
We bought our LUV brand new 1977 . I loved driving my little 4L 4-speed truck . It always ran great. We lived in Northern Missouri and due to salted roads it rusted away in less than 7 years! I searched for a replacement body and couldn't find a good one. No internet existed to find one!
Kevin Tucker Sure appreciate the kind comments and tuning in to the show!!! Yeah, gotta admit our channel growth has been slow! We attribute it to a lack of outrageous content and no click bait! We trust our growth will be sustainable and we’re also real grateful that great companies want to work with us and if we used questionable tactics that might not be the case! Share the channel if you’d like, every viewer counts :-) Also, we shot a ten episode season of shows for Motor Trend/Velocity! The show is called Live Love Wrench and the whole season can be watched at www.motortrendondemand.com! If you’d like to watch it too 😎👌🏼
Early 90s my first truck was a 79 Luv 4x4, 1.8L gas, yellow, Mikado trim level (which meant a few stickers). I had so much fun with it but quickly outgrew it by my late teens, as I have been 6'5" ever since.
I had a butterscotch 76 Luv up in Wichita Falls 35 years ago. Ran off the road and hit a rock and bent the steering . Drove it for another 2 months holding onto the steering wheel so it wouldn't pull to the left. Good times !
Hey guys, enjoy the video's. The glow plug warming system is abit different than on my 1980 Kubota ,but still similar. Nice to see the little rascal running well. Long live the little diesel that could!

Thanks she always brings back a lot of good memories from when I was young and add one from California Stepside same front end I miss that little truck thanks again
loll @ 2 minutes of black screen at the end??? great videos! I have ran my little Mitsubishi/Ram 50 diesel truck on used vegetable/fryer oil. Not good for winter (gels) but perfect for summer. Just have to filter it well before adding to the tank! seems to add a little power as well. Free fuel is always cool as long as no harm done to vehicle. I have not had any problems at all. Also exhaust smoke is white when there is any and it smells like whatever was fried in the grease! I am working on 3 more diesel swaps, a Kia Sportage/Mazda turbodiesel, the Mitsubishi swapped into an 84 Bronco II and Isuzu (NPR Truck) Turbodiesel into Dodge 4x4 truck! Love those diesels!
Ole Miss you guys videos and now you probably busy but hopefully fees get more for us to show love to work love the tag team job you do on the vehicles please keep it up and keep them coming look forward to seeing them soon

You can also put a ground to the glow plug housing and a hot with the same gauge wire used in the vehicle to glow them up...if they don't obviously they are bad.
OMG I love the Chevy Luves and wish no I pray I will get to own one myself some day before their all gone. I prefer the gas type more than diesel. 55 HP?!!...my Luv Mikado (same color!) made around 375 HP. 'Course that was because one of the guys at the city garage hoisted the cab and box off and replaced the 1.8 L Isuzu with the entire 455 Ponch Super Duty drivetrain out of a Gran Safari wagon with a towing package. It was nasty rusty, but ran like a scalded cat til it got scary and I'd lift to live! Bought it for $250, dug it out of a huge snowdrift, aired up the tires and drove it home. It left "dualie" tracks due to the fact that the wagon's rear end had better than a foot wider track than the stock front. Kept it for a year and parted it out for $600. Lived to type the tale!
Funny you wired you glow plugs that way, I did the exact same thing to my 6.2 NA diesel in my 86' K5 Blazer after my glow plug controller board went out. It has the advantage of removing the one and only circuit board in the entire vehicle. Oh and a tip on the glow plugs, put antisieze on the threads when u put the new ones in bc a broken one is a SERIOUS PITA to get out.
