One of the best thunderstorm videos I've seen. I love thunderstorms, but we don't get any like this in Utah. Thank you for sharing yur experience with we thunder lovers.
First of all is not that heavy rain it's like a baby Michael verse and second you're right that is a loud crazy amazing Thunder I wish it won't happen to our neighborhood!!!!😐😐😐😐😐
I would love to live somewhere where these are common, especially overnight. In my area, all too often too many storms are hit and miss. That really sucks big time.
I believe it was a combination of my son's excitement mixed in with some thunder. Also, it this was captured on my cell phone so mic quality isn't the best.
Just run-of-the mill for that area - - - they are much rougher in Mobile, Alabama. The thunderclaps there rip doors off of their hinges. They make a bigger boom than the 18 1/2 tons of class C explosives that went high order on the Brooklyn waterfront on December 3, 1956.
Cool, but next time, focus on the houses, greenery instead of the parking lot. You can see the rain better against the greenery/street and watch the wind in the branches.

Holy moly that was hectic. I have never experienced that. Lightning and thunder was awesome.

It seems anywhere on the gulf of mexico from FL to TX gets violent weather in the spring/summer

I had'nt experience that very loud thunder and frequent lightning before (i lived in tropical country).
What's that noise at the 4:31 mark? Looks like tires screeching or a vinyl when you scratch it.
