going into my junior year of eleg and its surprising how different our school curriculums are. The classes you take in your 2nd sem of 2nd year are what we take first sem of junior year. I also find it crazy that you have to pay for so much out of pocket. Everything I've used for lab is always provided by the shool.
I don't think there's an age limit; you just need to get into the UBC Engineering program and do well enough in first-year to get into the ELEC program!
Honestly not entirely sure because they never told us explicitly, but I have a feeling it was a mix of my grades and extracurriculars (or lack therof lol)
Kamyar Momeni is your BIGGEST FAN, HE WANTED TO SAY HI!!!
@6:37. Could you please tell me which software and device do you use for taking such beautiful notes.
I use an iPad with GoodNotes!

Nice to hear from viewers outside of Canada! Good luck with your studies!
what sort of avg do u need for UBC?
Heavily depends on the faculty you want to go into, and a multitude of other factors such as specific high school courses and your personal profile

@@AveryCheng How many hours per week must one spend at the university for this degree?
Probably at least 40
What was the reason u didn't get into co-op?

@@AveryChengOh ok. Cause I asked a student who graduated this year from mech and he said almost everyone gets in coop.
It varies by the program, but I noticed that ELEC and CPEN are a lot more competitive than the other programs
