Hi! Thank you for the insightful video! I heard you mention a standard time table that Sauder students get and I was wondering how that worked exactly? I have already registered for my first year Sauder classes (took the 9 classes that are required to upgrade to second year). When I was registering, I just picked whatever times fit my schedule and the highly rated teachers that taught the those aforementioned classes, so I’m a bit confused how 20+ students would have the same classes together?😅
hi! this is a great question :) class sizes will vary, so classes can be as small as 20 to as large as 500! essentially, in my year, instead of registering for individual classes, we each picked a “standard timetable” and everyone in the timetable had the same classes. the 20-30 students in my timetable share the same classes with each other, but there was overlap with other timetables/students for the bigger, more general classes. maybe they switched this in the coming year because of the transition to workday though 😭
what was kwave like? I’m an exchange student coming from london and love my uni’s kpopsoc, i saw that for kwave u have to pay to join classes and can you only do group dance covers if you pass the audition for their dance team?
hey! so k-wave is divided into two teams: exec team, which plans events, runs the social media, etc. and dance team, who film dance covers, teach dance classes, and do performances both at k-wave and non-kwave events. i think as of right now the dance team only does group covers, but they've done some solo covers in the past too (ex. chungha). you do have to pay to join the classes but if you're a member of either the dance team or the exec team, it's free!
hi! can you elaborate on this a little more? from my understanding, your high school, not you, is responsible for sending ubc your official high school transcript/grades to consider you for admission. let me know if you have further questions!
Thanks so much for this video! I’m heading to UBC in the fall and this really helped :))
no problem! hope you have an amazing first year :)
great stuff mikayla! 💪 keep up the awesome content
thanks 🥹🤞🏼

Is it possible to get admission without school report if you only have grade 12 results only.
