I fell out of my desk chair watching this video. Any tips on better landings on my living room floor? We love the vids and your excellent presentations!
Great video but it seems like you've focused a lot on the finishing part of the manouver. Would love to hear your thoughts on how to approach the lip/where to look/where to direct the movement. Great video once again!
Noice one mate! I've only ever tried off closeout sections, feels like I land pretty well but always get consumed by the white water as I'm pulling back around, and usually complete the move as I'm popping out the back of the foamy mess. Only ever completed twice from many many many attempts.
First of all thank you bro for your Time , and tour effort that you put to give a lot of informations about our sports . Bro a question Come up to my mind : like bro im rinding an 41,5 , so if i buy a bigger board like 42 , it Can really help to complete the flips more than the 41,5 or it IS out of subject the size had nothing to do with completing them? And also i wish you the best for the Maldives bro Hope you get the trophy
Appreciate the support and kind words bru! A bigger board generally makes it easier to land but harder to control. There are positives and negatives to using bigger boards so it’s always up for debate. I would say that a 0,5 inch change is noticeable but will make things easier to land.
Keeping the board close is easier if you are keeping your elbows close to you side. Will keep everything compact and tight. When you go to spin out you should already be close to where you need to be and just moving your head should be enough.
Dude good landing advice. How about approaching the lip and advice on directing the flip to a decent landing area. Also head position when starting the flip?? Maybe next backflip vid. Hahaha I have too many questions 🙋♂️
He's done heaps of tutorial vids in the past, pretty sure there's a backflip one Edit : yep, look up "explained" on Iain's channel, those vids are gold.
Head info was in the first one but I will do the approach with some GoPro clips soon… seems like that is the tough part everyone is struggling with. Will get to it 😉🤙🏼
@@iaincampbell_ thanks bru. I’ve never been a backflip dude since I hit my head on a pool edge - still scarred haha boog is diff but still have trouble going straight back over 😂
Hi there, I write a Bodyboarding interest blog, which is slowing down a bit named #FriendsOfPlymouthBodyboarders And sometimes contribute to UK Bodyboarders. Most significantly to , change the name from : British Bodyboarding Club , as that excluded Northern Ireland and other British Isles thst needed including. Be great to have someone with enthusiasm join Friends of Plymouth Bodyboarders. And hopefully contribute to keep that going. Also, did you see The English Nationals ? I notice Ross Littlejohns an older rider was in the top three. I met him once , when I was deciding whether or not to try and compete or try and have a Surf Photography career . Or just to be an enthusiastic spectator .
Hi Robert. I can help but let’s connect on instagram where we can chat in DM’s. I am happy to help where I can. I was down at the Nationals the other weekend and was awesome to see the level of bodyboarding here.

Why you are not in antofagasta ibc😢😢?
I just moved from South Africa to the UK a couple months ago…
Yo bru im struggling to keep my board close to me while i do the flip and if i do the flip i spin the opesit way do you think you could maybe help?

It takes some time to get them right so take your time with it.
