Hey, Tury, really like your video, and just subscribed to keep tracking of it. Can u help with me with a question? I am also living in NYC, and started learning surfing this year, and found it a lot of fun so far, but I have a concern to keep this hobby in east coast, I heard the swell is not good as west coast or other place in US, and good swell is needed to improve, winter has better swell but the temperatures in water is so low, not sure how does it feel..so do you think in NYC, it’s still worth spending time in surfing as a hobby, my goal is to be able to surf green waves and travel to places like Hawaii and South East Asia maybe in the future to surf. Thanks

Hey!!! Thanks for watching and sub. It depends.. you kinda have to have the right mindset to take the conditions as it is. We don't have consistent waves and sometimes even in the winter it could be flat for a while. One of the options is to go to Skudin Wavepool when it's cold an flat out there or pick up some other sports like snowboarding. You can improve by surfing in New York but it will take years to get to the point where you can do a proper cutback with smooth style. Hope this helps! Cheers!

First spot is the most popular in montauk, theres a few breaks there, but what was the second spot?

Unfortunately, I can't tell but you can find some similar ones if you drive around a little bit.

Where do u park? And is it worth the long drive for u? First spot Looks crowded 😊

You will need to have a permit to park at the first spot. If you do some online research you can find the parking spots. It gets easier in the Fall. To be honest, it wasn't actually that crowded. It gets worse.. just add at least 50+ more people on a typical summer day. It was worth it just to change the scenery and surf different waves. I would drive again if the waves are slightly bigger and the wind is straight offshore.
