No water more importantly, no love or comfort. As not to confuse anyone else when I say water, I mean hydration. Formula has water even breastmilk. Dehydration happens quickly in newborns.
@@sammanthaford3982 She didn’t intend to surrender her anywhere or she would’ve. She thought if she kept partying and not getting prenatal care that this baby would be stillborn like the first one but when that didn’t happen she just let her starve. She NEVER intended for that baby to live.
This place is dysfunctional AF. Staff rooms are dump heaps. Staff is drinking. Suspicion of pregnancy and then mysteriously hearing a baby cry and NO ONE does anything? 🤢
We need to talk more about this cabin she was at... No one knows what a pregnant girl looks like, she had flesh in the bathroom and they took a picture of it and didn't call the police, after some people speculating that she was pregnant they found a dead baby in HER room and they thought it was fake and didn't call 911, a dog ate a flesh remains, MULTIPLE PEOPLE heard a baby crying and didn't call the police,.... THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!!
I blame it on very young people living/working there who have life issues and little experience. So, they hesitate out of fear and uncertainty. There's a lack of supervision by older people. Their faith teaching inhibits their thinking and gives them no options how to deal with this situation without fearing punishment. A recipe for tragedy
Yes. PLEASE!! 🙏🏼 DO NOT turn yourself into a monster [like THIS girl] with one VERY misguided decision. Because there ARE young women out there who have few or (what feels like) NO options. Because _those_ women DO have good hearts & good intentions. They are scared to death, unsupported, impoverished.. or are subject to abuse, threats, or familial & religious pressures. Women in _these_ circumstances need - and HAVE - options, & deserve understanding! UNLIKE Jessica, who couldn’t be bothered to purchase a $2 bottle or take a 10 minute drive (in perhaps the MOST liberal & option-filled state in the Union!! 🤦🏻)
Sometimes you ask and no one answers. Pregnancy is supposed to be a beautiful thing and more often than not it filled with stress , pain and worry. My husband was happy about the pregnancy, less than a month later he adandoned us without a second thought or warning. M6 baby was born 6 weeks early via C-section and spent 12 days in the NICU i spent my pregnancy trying to get out of the debt he put us in and ended up having to move. The baby is a month now and I have not heard word one from my husband or his family. He didn't even come to the hospital once and when the hospital tried to call his mother she sent the calls to voicemail. I asked and even begged for help no one answered. People tend not to care until there's a dead body, by then it's to late
Do you think everyone just grows up knowing this? Guess you didn’t come from a conservative religious background where *nothing is discussed*, certainly not ‘what to do with a baby you can’t keep’. A lot of ignorance and misplaced blame here. She was in a boarding school for “troubled teens”; her parents had already *sent her away*, and that absolutely played into her being terrified to tell anyone. “Faith-based boarding school” should’ve told you everything you need to know about why this happened. I work with youths experiencing pregnancy, and very young mothers. The majority of cases where young people, especially teenagers, end up with dead babies are coming from deeply religious households, where kids are *so terrified* of what their parents reactions are going to be, and what they’ve been convinced their “fate” might be for committing such a grievous mistake 🙄🤦🏻♀️, that they truly are unable to tell anyone they need help. This is not unusual nor uncommon. Let’s stop pretending that girls are any different than boys, stop pretending it’s not natural and normal for teens to have sex, and start arming them with actual sexual education that can *prevent these situations from happening*. And parents: grow up. Your kids admitting that they are sexually active and asking for birth control is far and away the more adult behavior than denying that protection to them. We see this too much. Blame the parents and the absurd, disgustingly puritanical faux narrative we place on young girls and women. But especially the kids. And especially if you come from a religious background. Stop condemning your children for being normal teenagers. This girl was a kid who found herself in a situation where she knew she was in trouble and needed help, and *was made to feel like she couldn’t ask for it.* Period. Start campaigning for REAL sex ed in your kids’ schools; this girl could become your child, and you’d be willfully ignorant to believe otherwise. Refusing to properly educate our kids is *not ever, in any way, “protecting them”.
That poor baby. Alone, hungry, unloved, crying, and dying. That childs entire existence was misery. May she rest in peace and know what true love feels like.
I'm not sure how you missed it, but the baby was murdered so, unfortunately, it will never know what true love feels like. The woman in this video is a murderer

This woman is totally clueless and she is a counselor for troubled teens, shocking. This facility should be investigated. The people running it aren’t competent. You find a placenta in the shower, take it to the office and a dog eats it, nobody was questioned, no police called.
When a place is labeled as "a faith-based boarding school for troubled teens", it ALWAYS translates to "cult where abusive parents send their queer or mentally ill kids to be tortured until they believe the cult leader is God or mentally snap". There's your explanation right there.

I feel bad for the girls who are forced to live in this place-- it seems deeply unsanitary, from the staff's person rooms to the communal spaces. The fact that people are finding pieces of "flesh" that get eaten by dogs and the body of a baby that no one calls the police over for two days makes me feel like these "troubled teens" are in a deeply unhealthy and unsafe environment. Edit: Just to reply to all of the comments thinking I am talking about the woman when I say "troubled teens", I am referring to the teenagers who live at this place, not the woman who murdered her baby.
I know someone who got sent to one of a “ Christian home for troubled girls”. All it really was, was getting free work on the guys farm. They never sent the girls to school. They worked on the farm all day, straightening up the house and going to church on Sunday. It was finally shut down. Every time I hear about one of those “schools” I think of the person who was sent away instead getting real help.
I said same thing All we were told was don't have sex or your life will be ruined. Told the boys to use condoms. I remember my boy friend not having a condom & he said they had them in bath room at gas station . I made him go in but the machine was empty. I had no idea where to go without small town knowing so will did the pull out method. He got diabetes & was impotent a lot. I had very little sex before we married & after. He died from the diabetes at 26
You have so many people who don't want their kids to even have sex education and focus on "purity." It would be nice though if more teens learned about cases like these but also how they can take unwanted babies or babies they can't care for to safe havens.
Indeed. Now apply this level of transparency to all of human history, where we weren't being recorded and most everyone had areas to bury or discard unwanted infants. There's cultural reasons built into Japan for infanticide, among other cultures, specifically because babies die and/or cannot be taken care of. Time to be extra grateful for the systems we do live in, from morality to social networks that can help care for babies.

Was it laziness that paralyzed her? Gosh this is just awful and was so preventable. Saying “I didn’t know what to do,” she’s trying to take away her own agency in the narrative and victimize herself which is definitely not the truth at all

You would think she would've learned from her own horrible childhood. Instead she out did her mother and did worse. Apple didn't fall far from the tree at all, shit the apple is still hanging on... Smh 😢
Imposing life on a child that did not give consent to life isn’t “mercy”…. It’s a life sentence. It’s only mercy if you believe that life is good. And that’s fine. But you shouldn’t make those choices for others. If the child you bring into the world doesn’t think life is good - then you’re actually the arsehole, aren’t you?
She's extremely self-centered with absolutely no empathy. She did not regard her own baby as a human being who can suffer until death from dehydration and starvation. She murdered her daughter passively. Passive or active, it's still 1st degree murder. I'm glad she won't have the possibility of parole until she hits menopause, when she cannot get pregnant again. As a mother, I cannot imagine doing that to a baby or a child. She's the one who's not human.
@@NineNineOne While I agree that it isn't so clear-cut, I do want to point out that the decision whether or not you want to be alive is one you cannot make until you have reached a certain level of development that allows you awareness. An infant doesn't have that yet, and by cutting their life short, you take away their freedom of choice. If you feel you have brought a child into a terrible world that brings mostly misery, the most ethical course of action to me would still be to put the child up for adoption and give it a fair chance to be raised by loving people as their own who may instill a joy for life into your child that you yourself could never do. If it fails, it is up to your child to decide life is not worth living and step out if they so desire. That would not have constituted a crime, either, and for good reason. However, I will say that perhaps her own youth has been so bad that she lost faith in adoption as a viable solution, and she may have actually intended her own actions as a mercy. With that being a plausible explanation - though no excuse, obviously - I would argue she is not necessarily a horrible monster, but she sure violated a lot of written AND unwritten rules of our society.
Perhaps her life has been hell and she knew putting the baby in the system would be giving the baby the same life. This is what happens when children have children.

This is so fucked up.
“I guess she just starved” is horrible. Starving is one of the worst ways to die. It’s slow. It’s painful. How do you give even a single f if you can say that? There are hospitals and fire stations. There’s so many things she could have done.

I’ve always taught my kids that they can tell me anything and I’d always give them the best advice. There are too many cases where teens get pregnant and hide it and end up killing the newborn😢. My daughter got pregnant at 17 and had her at 18. She’s 24 now and just had a beautiful son. I love my grand babies so much. Bless all the innocent sweet babies in heaven🙏🏻💔
Babies can survive for 2-3 days from birth with very little. It can take time for milk to come in. You can spoonfeed water until then. I think a Christian based education needs to be revised for the 21stC…..don’t you?
The ending really got me. That poor child was just feet from formula bottles, a warm crib, and a chance to live. Instead, all she got was one of the most selfish "mothers" to ever live. Disgusting.
You know what? People call dead beat dads sperm donors, she was an egg donor and nothing else. Mothers take care of their children, blood related or not and she didn't. I feel the only reason why she even spent a few hours of her life with her is because she thought that would save her from prison. Despicable.
@@MsLoverPower I actually think the only reason she went back for a few hours a day (if she even did) was to check to see if the baby was dead yet. I have a sick feeling that those hours were spent more contemplating if she could work up the courage to physically murder the baby, and possibly trying to gauge how much longer she had to live and/or coming up with ways to prevent people from hearing the baby cry. There was no attempt to feed or care for this baby. When I had my daughter at 20 I recall our 1st night home from the hospital she still had not latched. I had no formula because I was very adamant to breast feed. No stores were open. The nurses had send us home with syringes and a small hand pump and that's how she had been eating, but it wasn't enough and she was screaming. I recall having a sudden aha moment and instinct kicked in and I grabbed a nipple from a bottle and held it over my own nipple and got her to latch onto that, which causes enough suction to finally prompt a let down and she really ate a full meal the first time. I'm retrospect, it was a dangerous solution, but it allowed me to feed my baby and I then learned about nipple shields which we got from our pediatrician on our next visit and after using a shield for 4+ months she continued successfully breastfeeding for 2 years. I cannot describe the power your child's cry has. I would literally stop the whole world, move mountains, etc to get to my crying baby when mine were little. This girl was just out loving her life knowing this baby was alone screaming all day. I think she had the classic denial where she was somehow able to see this baby as non human, but simply a product of her reproductive system by which she could choose how to treat it. I was 16 and pregnant and absolutely TERRIFIED to tell my dad, who was a preacher and my mom. But i did, and they were so disappointed in me, but they stuck by me and helped me raise my son. He just turned 15. How any adult could do this is beyond me or even a teenager. There's no excuse.
Not excusing anything this woman did. But your situation was probably way dif than hers. And alot of parents don't do that. They kick them to the curb and disown them or they convince their kids that they will. In those cases the pregnant child can still get help tho. Living with foster parents is one choice. And in cases where parents treat you that badly it's probably best to just do that anyway. Even if you don't plan to keep/raise the baby yourself. I don't suggest this but I'm pretty sure you can get an abortion now without telling your parents too.
Absolutely! I was also a young mother and was pooping my pants to tell my dad.. he was the last person i told. & the happiest about the news?! 🤣 my little girl is now 11. Bless you for your strength and all you’ve sacrificed for your baby! You go, momma. 🥰
Not everyone has the same kind of support …. But I definitely still agree.. cause I feel like everyone knows about adoption lol. I was bullied for being adopted in just 5th grade so I feel like even by a very young age you kinda know the idea or purpose of what being “adopted” means so for an adult or a teenager to not even consider that being one of the options is very crazy and insane.

She left her alone to die, starve.......what a horrible person. What that poor innocent baby went through just being left there to die, so horrible, all alone, no comfort. Rest easy in the arms of Jesus now little one.
This is one of the most disturbing cases I’ve heard, solely because I can imagine how much pain and suffering her poor baby went through, hungry and thirsty, no nappies just left to lay in her mess for hours and hours on end till mom comes back. This is the stuff of nightmares, she tortured that baby.
I come from a “religious” family. My cousins were not allowed to wear pants, tank tops, they had to wear clothes that covered them. One July, in Puerto Rico the middle of summer, we’re celebrating the 4th of July and one of my cousins goes into labor. She was 19 not allowed to date, seemingly no one knew she was pregnant. We hung around all the time with my cousins and NEVER noticed they were pregnant. Right after my nephews birth, she was made to marry, it didn’t last. Her family were Jehova witnesses. A year later her “single” sister also gave birth. Religion can wreck family
Yeah, I don’t understand that part either. Look at the filth she lived in. What a great example for the girls she was supposed to be helping even WITHOUT what they know now😒
She is crying, but not because she lost a baby, but because she got caught. Bringing the baby to a hospital, giving up her so a loving couple could adopt her would be the right thing to do. Why she didn't wanted to do it? She didn't wanted to caught and go to jail.
Except she wouldn't have gone to jail if she gave up the baby. There would be no further consequences. That was the safe route to go. But because she was misinformed about the 48 hours instead of 72, and because her "acting sick" didn't convince her boss to send her home, she didn't find an opportunity to. All in the name of that stupid religion she was raised to believe in. Her boyfriend saying her family would have welcomed a grandchild is absolute nonsense. They would have dropped her like a brick. Religion works that way.

That baby, if she was truly never fed, would have been crying her lungs out with starvation. I'm surprised not MORE people had heard her cries. Something I learned years ago from a story of baby neglect is that a baby can cry and scream so hard, that it actually loses its voice. How heartbreaking is that?
My husbands dad was born to a 14 year old prostitute who was addicted to meth and periodically living on the streets and with her 26 year old "boyfriend" (abuser) and she managed to keep him alive and then kept his twin brothers alive. She definitely didn't take the best care of them, but it's a miracle she even managed to keep them alive. Immaturity is not an excuse for this full grown woman.
@AreYouABadfishToo yeah, it's a wild story. She ended up giving them to their father and disappearing when her oldest was 12. My father in law assumed she was dead for decades. He went to prison at 19 and found God there. That child would have gotten a chance of living if Jessica would come forward instead of not knowing what to do. She could have gone up to someone and say hey..I need help. This detective is a hero. Until now I never looked at their work the way he put it, being the voice of those who died because there's nobody else to speak for them. He fought hard for that poor nameless baby and got justice.
It's too late. Anyone could have been a hero to raise a concern in time or raise a child semi-properly. The real parents of the murderer; the coworkers, the cohabitants that have seen the signs of the pregnancy. What about the boyfriend who haven't noticed the _second_ pregnancy?
I thought the detective was dreadful. For a start in this situation another woman should at least have been present, if not actually doing the questioning. And Jessica should not have been questioned alone. He was basically bullying her. Yes, what she did was dreadful, but hearing her talk about trying to feed the baby and failing was heartbreaking. A lot of what she said was clearly the truth. Yes, what she did was awful. But she didn’t just decide to starve her baby to death, as he cluelessly claimed. She was clearly in no fit state to make any decision and simply waited, in the crazy hope that it would all just go away. As a result , her baby died. But unlike most of the people I presume the misguided accusatory detective was more used to dealing with, she was no heartless, villainous murderer, as the misguided detective clearly believed. Did the place have no personnel with any sort of medical or other personnel more used to dealing with young people who were ill? And did no one realise that she should, at the very least, most definitely have been supplied with a court-appointed lawyer, even if she was too traumatized to ask for one? And if I understood the introduction, this happened in California. Unbelievable.,
What is EXTREMELY troubling is that a 23 yr old who has problems and has ZERO life experience, was HIRED & ALLOWED to counsel young kids. ALSO... This thing in California where they read a Beheler statement instead of your rights to remain silent, , and only read you your rights AFTER you incriminate yourself. As far as I saw, she incriminated herself multiple times and was never read her rights
It sounds like they couldnt believe that it was real. They just couldnt process it. I mean, who would find something like that and immediatly know "Oh wow this is an actual mummified human baby in my roommate's room." I would also think it was fake. But after some thinking, I would start to wonder.
She probably wasn’t allowed to have contraceptives and this is the result - girls having babies they don’t want, having to hide it from everyone… I feel sorry for her having to grow up like this, being so brainwashed by religion she’d rather let her baby die, than have anyone find out that she’s having se# outside marriage.
None of that has anything to do with "faith". She didn't want the baby to get in between her and her mans life. Plain and simple. If you think "faith based" automarically means doesn't end well, you live in a biased mind. Far worse and far more cases happen outside of "faith" as you say.
@Jebbreh Guess I struck a nerve. 😉 There are other safer, saner ways to prevent an unwanted child from being born, or stop a baby from "getting in the way" of one's life, but Christian brainwashing prevents considering them. As does being in a total institution environment like the camp where even speaking of such alternatives is forbidden, let alone trying to access them with limited funds, support, knowledge and transportation. Your comment only proves my point.
You know nothing about religion My sister was pregnant before mariage and what did we do? Nothing, she has a beautiful son and a daughter. You accuse religious people of brainwashing, ironic. People choose to be a-holes and religion has nothing to do with it. If it was fear due to religion, she wouldn't have done what she did, because last time I checked ending a life is worse than having a baby out of wedlock. Also she chose to abandon the baby instead of actually dealing with the situation.
her room is DISGUSTING. that alone should’ve been a red flag. how can she be employed by a troubled girls camp when she was clearly still insanely troubled? she had no business working there and neither do the girls who saw the infant and chose to go to bed instead of reporting it immediately.
Hear me out. I lost my first daughter at 2 months old. With my second pregnancy, 5 years later, my brain blocked the entire success, no emotion, no happiness, I didn’t want to get attached to my child because I was still grieving my first child. I was lucky enough to have a husband to watch us both and care for us. For the first 3 years of her life I was detached from her. Then another pregnancy, something changed then and I was excited about this pregnancy. Now my child is 17 years old and I love her to pieces, but I carry the guilt of not being the mother that she needed as a toddler. I honestly don’t know what would of happened to the both of us without my husband supervision. Mental health is serious, postpartum depression is real.
I keep thinking about this... Yes, the choices she made were poor, but she obviously did not feel she could trust anyone in her life to help. She thinks love is conditional. This story is tragic all around.
Thank you for bringing up this perspective. This woman wasn’t a cold blooded killer, AND this baby shouldn’t have been neglected this way. Both can be true. It seems maybe she was suffering from trauma and postpartum depression. So sad for this little girl and I’m so sorry for your loss, Mama. I have a child in heaven too. ❤thankful for every moment I had with her.
And by the way, i feel sorry for your kids. This woman had a lot of options for this baby, yet choose to let her die in cold, starved. And the fact you try to justify it it's beyond my understanding. I had post partum depression but never once neglected my baby. And guess what? I didn't have ANY support. And yet still managed to take care of her. It's called mother's instinct, mother's love. I couldn't sleep knowing my baby has not been fed, changed. And this cow did sleep and ate and drank. So shut up
Been watching this with my earphones with my little girl fast asleep next to me.. how anyone could treat another person, adult like this let along a baby.. and innocent child, your own baby! Truly disturbing, thank you again EWU crew for another educational video! ❤

She's not a young girl and even most "young girls" would not starve their baby and find a way to get help..... desperation= give up for adoption (she had the idea but did not follow through and drop her off at safe haven), or give to a family member, not starving and torturing an innocent being for 4 days. This is a Christian institution, and no doubt their belief is that birth control leads to wanton sexuality. Can't have that, so it's dumpster babies instead.
Though it does lower your chances, even birth control isn't entirely fool proof. It would be smart to have it while also pairing it with condoms. Can never be too careful if you aren't ready for parenthood.
Poor baby girl. You died not ever experiencing any love, not even any care. There's one teared up UA-camr out here that your short, tragic life has touched. I'm thinking about you with love in my heart. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

@@kandiceblair1105 I agree, that is not "a mistake", a mistake might be thinking about letting her die for a few minutes , if she was really afraid of what people would think, & then looking at her baby & coming to her senses. If she went those 30 miles to the supermarket & did buy her formula, if she did care for her baby girl , & if she did feel guilty about ever considering allowing her to suffer forever...but she didnt make a sudden deadly mistake, she kept it up for days with a cold perseverance. We dont need beings like her, people who can watch their own helpless infant scream for food & suffer for days, in our global community. How can she live with herself?
What did that even mean? Seriously, what was she even talking about? What was she trying to say? What point was she trying to make? That absurd question-“Who dies like that?”-makes absolutely no sense to me at all. I am dumbfounded by the question. I can’t even begin to wrap my head around what it is that she was actually asking. It’s infuriating! Was she asking who-as in who specifically? Was she referring to the baby she starved, neglected, and ultimately chose to murder? Premeditatedly, over at least six months (and that’s being extremely generous). Her baby girl. Her innocent, defenseless, newborn daughter. It’s a level of cruelty and delusion that’s incomprehensible. And when it wasn't stillborn like her first, she had to improvise. If she didn't want that baby, all she had to do was find someone who did. Smh.
"My 48 hours were up so I didn't know what I was gonna do." And over 12 of those hours...the hours right after she was born...were spent with friends bike riding and drinking. She left that baby alone to die. Period. Disgusting.
Some states have expanded their Safe Havens law, to allow new mothers more time to surrender their babies. It ranges anywhere from 3 days to 1 year. My state just went to 30 days! Check your state's Safe Haven laws and spread the word!
This part confuses me bc how would a safe haven place know exactly how many hours ago the baby was born? I mean at the very least she could have just lied about when the baby was born and still brought her in passed the 48 hr mark. I think the 72 hr rule for some states is not well thought out- esp for ppl making such a hard decision to surrender their child.
And its quite normal that the brestmilk doesnt come out the first time. Happens to most women. Just get formula in the meantime. Like she said she couldve gone to walmart!
@@izzatihassan1475 yes, and baby needs to usually actively suckle to stimulate milk production. It usually takes a few days, and doesn't always work, but that would mean she'd have wanted to try and keep her baby alive.

She bought herself a bag of cookies after she gave birth but it "never occurred to her" to buy the baby formula and a bottle while she was at the store. She was waiting for her to die
No how was she going to do that with her boyfriend there with her when she was trying to keep it a secret from him. You are one of those low IQ people.
When the detective was frustrated saying “I’m the only one speaking up for that baby” I got really emotional 😢 this girl is a monster. Who could just leave their own newborn baby to starve to death? 😡There were bottles and a breast pump in that apartment!!!
@Tread1775 Right! So irritating. That poor child! Her child’s father might have been able to help her had she just told him, she was not thinking clearly at all and was very selfish.😓
I absolutely guarantee that she did not try to give that baby water. If she was heartless enough to leave the baby alone for hours on end while she soiled herself and starved, then she definitely didn't think to try giving her water. I think the detective gave her the water idea after she said that she was giving the baby her finger to suck on. She wasn't trying to provide nourishment, she was trying to get her to shut up. As horrible as it sounds, I don't think this girl gave a second thought to that poor baby. If you notice during her interview, the times she cries are only after admitting her massive screw-ups; she doesn't shed a single tear when she tells the detective about finding her baby dead. That's pretty telling, to me.
I get what you mean and agree with you. However, you literally can’t give babies water. It’s lethal to them. They can only consume milk/formula their first weeks of life.
What's even worse, is the ending. The realization that there were bottles, and a breast pump in the unoccupied house where she kept the baby girl. She could've easily fed that baby. She made a conscious decision not to. 😢 That poor baby starved to death. Such a sad and tragic case.
@MobileGames-xz2ff yes there wasn't much soiling. Also that's why the baby was mummified. Dehydrated and surrounded by blankets and clothing keeping oxygen out, it did not decompose.
Same with the girl who heard crying but chalked it up to a ringtone or computer sound. She sounded heartbroken when she realized after the face and it was too late. That has to be nerve-wracking to know you had the chance to save that baby. Ugh

The faith isn't inhibiting reporting. Being troubled teens does.
@Studydog899 they mean the staff not Jessica? Unless the staff are all former "inmates"

DO NOT turn yourself into a monster [like THIS girl] with one VERY misguided decision.
The responses here are why pregnancy gets hidden.
Literally all she had to do was drive to a fire station or hospital ANYWHERE and hand over the baby and leave, no questions asked
And she admitted to knowing that too
But that requires action/work and this POS just can’t be bothered.
So true, it's no question asked you wont be pursuit by police afterward
It's mind blowing women do this shit. U can seriously drop a baby off no problems no questions. This woman is disgusting
This girl was a kid who found herself in a situation where she knew she was in trouble and needed help, and *was made to feel like she couldn’t ask for it.*
Period.
Start campaigning for REAL sex ed in your kids’ schools; this girl could become your child, and you’d be willfully ignorant to believe otherwise.
Refusing to properly educate our kids is *not ever, in any way, “protecting them”.

Her birth mother showed her mercy and gave her up for adoption. She showed that baby zero mercy. It’s absolutely disgusting.

Babies can survive for 2-3 days from birth with very little. It can take time for milk to come in. You can spoonfeed water until then. I think a Christian based education needs to be revised for the 21stC…..don’t you?
Nobody should feel bad for her--she neglected her baby to death. There is 100% zero forgiveness for shit like that.
Truly shocking and sad.

Unbelievable.,
@jenniferh6813 stfu...she could have WENY ANYWHETE FOR HELP...she lied and didn't care.
@@jenniferh6813 lol wtf she killed a baby and you´re making excuses. You´re what is wrong with the world.

They really found a dead baby and just went to bed?
That's what I was thinking? Like what???
like she said she was definitely traumatized and convinced herself it was fake at first
Right?!
I thought the same thing. I thought, “Excuse me? They did WHAT?!” And who the hell can sleep after finding a deceased baby?
It sounds like they couldnt believe that it was real. They just couldnt process it. I mean, who would find something like that and immediatly know "Oh wow this is an actual mummified human baby in my roommate's room." I would also think it was fake. But after some thinking, I would start to wonder.
As soon as I heard “a faith-based camp for troubled teens” I knew this was NOT going to end well as per unplanned pregnancies. Never does.
She probably wasn’t allowed to have contraceptives and this is the result - girls having babies they don’t want, having to hide it from everyone…
I feel sorry for her having to grow up like this, being so brainwashed by religion she’d rather let her baby die, than have anyone find out that she’s having se# outside marriage.
None of that has anything to do with "faith". She didn't want the baby to get in between her and her mans life. Plain and simple.
If you think "faith based" automarically means doesn't end well, you live in a biased mind.
Far worse and far more cases happen outside of "faith" as you say.
@Jebbreh
Guess I struck a nerve. 😉
There are other safer, saner ways to prevent an unwanted child from being born, or stop a baby from "getting in the way" of one's life, but Christian brainwashing prevents considering them.
As does being in a total institution environment like the camp where even speaking of such alternatives is forbidden, let alone trying to access them with limited funds, support, knowledge and transportation.
Your comment only proves my point.

This woman is evil!!!! No excuse for what she did!

Birth control anyone???! After the first unwanted pregnancy, there is NO excuse for what happened the 2nd time.
This is a Christian institution, and no doubt their belief is that birth control leads to wanton sexuality. Can't have that, so it's dumpster babies instead.
The facility is a fundamentalist religious cult, so who knows if the girls there even know that birth control exists.
Walgreens sells birth control pills over the counter now. Walmart and CVS too. 20 bucks for a month supply or 50 bucks for 3 months
No prescription needed. Pretty low cost to not get pregnant. I'm on it. It's called Opill
