An excellent presentation of the many attractions in beautiful Edinburgh. Both dialogue and picture quality added to pleasure of this compact video. Looking forward to all your others.
Wow, you did an excellent job with this. It is unfortunate that you didn't have time to explore the residential areas of the New Town and go down the hill to Dean Village, Stockbridge, the Royal Botanic Gardens etc., as that is a very different world fro the Old Town. Also, while there are three hills in the immediate city centre - Castlerock, Calton Hill, Holyrood Park (which includes Arthur's Seat) - there are actually seven hills in the city. I too love Edinburgh (lived there, now visit most years - it is home in my heart) and am always delighted when visitors also love it. But I wish I were there to show them around, as there is much more than just the Royal Mile, Princes Street Gardens, and the commercial streets of the New Town. Thank you for doing such a great job. You did your homework. Nice editing, too.
Thanks a lot for your comment and very kind feedback! Makes me really happy to read that you like my video ☺️ Yes, Edinburgh is amazing and yes, it’s a potty that I wasn’t able to see more of it. I had to choose between seeing more of Edinburgh or more of Scotland and I chose to see more of Scotland. I do not regret that because this trip was absolutely beautiful and impressive! And I do now have a lot of reasons to come back which I will for sure! 🤩
Reasons why Edinburgh is Europes best city, 1, you can WALK everywhere, and the UK;s best bus service means you can travel across the city easily, and cheaply, 2, There are more Food Outlets per square mile than anyplace on earth, almost every street has a pub, cafe, or restuarant, 3, Edinburghs parks are FAMOUS, and intrinsic to the way of LIFE for natives, LEITH LINKS, THE MEADOWS, PRINCESS STREET GARDENS, and the iconic HOLYROOD PARK featuring ARTHURS SEAT are all LOVED dearly by the people who live and visit the city, 4 THE NATIVES, you wont get a more friendly greeting, and we are very open to helping people, and lastly, 5, WORLD HERITAGE CITY, with over 40,000 buildings, statues and other sites LISTED, Edinburgh is a UNESCO protected city, from its medieval OLD TOWN, to its NEO CLASSICAL GEORGIAN NEW TOWN, the city is just breathtaking, and its WORLD FAMOUS FESTIVAL means the city is alive with energy like no other place on the planet.
You definitely named a lot of great reasons for which Edinburgh is definitely one of the best - if not the best - cities of Europe! I absolutely loved it and I think I said it in the video: it quickly became my favourite city of Europe 😍 I definitely want to come back with more time 🤩
Thank you for sharing this video. I loved Scontland too, an amazing, historical, medieval and, such beautiful city. I hope go back again. It's first time that i see your videos and I loved you, you're look so natural and that is really nice. Thanks Alina.

Thank you for this wonderful video and so well narrated. My girl friends and I just got back from a week in Edinburgh and we left our husbands at home in New York for our annual trip. This city is magnificent and so historical….we had a ball and your video helped so much so thank you. I even met a wonderful Scottish doctor and he took me to dinner three times lol. Keep well.

Thanks a lot 🐶😁 The Glasgow video is already up. You can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/kUPEN99iKKE/v-deo.html Is love to here the opinion of a local ☺️
I like you went looking for a cold, rainy country and obviously chose Scotland only to get here and find it sunny and quite warm! Please keep it a secret from everyone else that the sun does sometimes shine here!
The “New” Town (built late 18th/early 19th c) is remarkable in its own right - it is one of the world’s two top sites (the other is Bath, in England) for Neoclassical (“Georgian”) architecture. Edinburgh is a UNESCO world heritage site for the precise reason that it is unique in the world in offering, in a very small area, two utterly different but very well preserved city plans and architectural styles - Medieval and Neoclassical, side by side. Prince’s Street gardens was originally a lake (“The Nor’ Loch”) and the road leading up to the old town from the new town (“The Mound”) didn’t exist before the New Town was built. Both were created by dumping the spoil from digging out the foundations of the New Town.
@@aventuralina I’m not from Edinburgh itself but I am Scottish and know a bit about our history! Edinburgh is a fascinating city and very distinctive - quite unlike anywhere else in the U.K.
@@davidpaterson2309 love that! Again, thanks for some extra information ☺️ And I agree! Edinburgh is quite unique! I don’t think anything comparable exists nowhere in Europe 😍

Edinburgh is bilt on 7 hills and theyare big, if you go to the Tron you go under the old town and many bridges. People used to work and live in the dark place, there are ment to be gohsts, St Marys Close is a street under the old town it had been blocked off when built on. Water in Scotland is called Council Juice becase water is free, we have the rain to do this.
I really love that the water was free! I only know very few places where it’s like that but there should be more countries offering quality drinking water for free. There’s so much history about Edinburgh, I loved that! So much to explore and learn 😍 Thanks a lot for your comment 🤗
