Okay, my trip to Edinburgh in 2018 was my favorite trip I've taken with my wife in our eight years of marriage. We plan on being there again next year, and your video is most helpful identifying some excellent eats that would be off the beaten path for tourists! Thank you for this! :)
Very enjoyable video. I have eaten at Pantry, best breakfast in town, and l’escargot bleu which is brilliant. Little chart room is definitely on the list. I have also had super meals at Purslane and Taisteal. Keep up the good work…best wishes!

We try to only do independent restaurants where possible so we wouldn’t feature Gusto but Bar Napoli would be a possibility. It’s not in our shortlist for places to feature atm to be honest though.
@@df7451 We’ve never eaten out for Christmas Day in Edinburgh so a wild guess would be the balmoral or the Caledonian just because bigger/fancier hotels tend to do this the best.

How about Bar Napoli on Hanover Street or Gusto’s on George Street both fantastic Italian restaurants
