I know UA-cam doesn't like them, but your videos that I enjoy and value the most are those with you having to help the mother. Especially those with you explaining what is going on and what and why you are doing it. Particularly when you explain the technique, etc. I like learning and seeing the real life - what you physically have to do and experience. It is so much better than reading about it!
I know the situations are stressful for you and don't wish them on you (or anyone). But, it's like making lemonade from lemons! I've read enough comments where people have said that seeing your videos helped them through similar situations. Thank you for all you do!
Yes, I definitely vote for the separate, short birth videos! You can link to them in the main videos themselves. That way, you don't get docked for your hard work on your main videos, but this important, natural, real life stuff is also out there. UA-cam Mama Doctor Jones (an ob/gyn) says "You don't get to be offended by science." I think that applies here, as well.
It's fun to see another Mama Dr Jones and Sandi fan. I've wondered what it would be like to hear an OB and farmer compare experiences. It would be so funny to see an OB assist with lambing for a day.
@@mallorymyers7525 That would be something!
How is a person supposed to learn the facts of life in a animal unless you see it person! So I-tube this IS A LEARNING VIDEO THAT WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE!
Does anyone enjoy watching Kelsey the dog pop up in all the shots? She’s so keen and watches everything Sandi does. So attentive and curious. She’s so sweet. Love this lambing video. Thanks Sandi!
Kelsey is always a treat to watch. She wants to help SO bad! It's fascinating the way she rushes in anytime Sandi appears to struggle with anything: like a reluctant ewe... Or the straw cart handle... Or the feed cart pull cord... Or a trailer hitch...
The ewe right by the bonding cages really didn’t want to have to move far after giving birth. That’s a smart lady right there
Yep... I was waiting for her to just walk in one while Sandy was building them.
Interestingly enough, so was I!🤔😆😆😆💝💖💞
Must admit Sandi , when the lambing starts , Sandi is walking around with a Beaming Smile and a look of Great Pleasure on your face !!
I think we all know of how proud you are of your girls and will try your utmost to make sure every thing goes well for them all !!
Also great to see that the Boys have not let you down with their performance also !!
I think also Carisa is a god send to you and you both work well as an Awesome Team !!
I don’t think I’d ever tire of the mummy’s making those little grunts to their baby ❤️🐑
The smile on your face as you showed us the maternity ward........priceless.
I thought it was funny when you refer to it as a Maternity Ward but true true
She looked so guilty when you said 'ewe are trying to steal" 😆 she knew!
In all truth mis-mothering can be a stock persons nightmare!
Wow her second baby was easy peasy, such a good thing
Everytime I watch my older cat comes and sits on my lap (he doesn’t watch, just listens) I thought it was the babies, now watching him I think it’s your voice lol. Everytime you speak he turns his head, I think you have a 4 legged fans 🐈😁
Cheryl O ❤️
Sandi: you trying to steal.
Ewe: who me.
I seen her nonchalant look
@@LLthereistome2024 I thought that ewe looked like she has some abscesses on her upper right side of her neck. Sandi doesn't mention them, I wonder if she noted them.
@@aileen-heatherk5915 that might be from the feed bunk since they rub on it a lot. but 8m sure @Sandi will double check when she see this😊 good eye...I almost missed what you saw!
@@aileen-heatherk5915 You're right! I'm now worried about Orph... and/or CL. Good eye! 👀
Oh my amazing births of babies it pulls at my heart strings ......when you first see the ewe pushing who else sits there saying "go On girl you can do it " 😉 ......Thank you Sandi xx
AWE to watch the ewes give birth is so wonderful!! That one barely had to push at all, such effortless birth, way to go momma!!! 34 lambs in 2 days, I said this was gonna be a hectic lambing season, lol. BUT as always, you're handling this with such ease and always with a smile!! Thanks for sharing these precious moments with us!!!
My days are complete with Sandi and her Sheep!!
That last momma knew right where to have her baby! She knows the routine. That is a lot of babies in two days! Congratulations!
Anyone else cheering along and yelling at that momma, “GET YOUR BABY!!” Just me?
Not just you! And I’m shouting lick the baby’s face, the face!💕🐑👍🏻
@@here2luv363 🤗🤗🥳🤔💖💖👏👏👏👏👏💞🥳
My two year old daughter loves watching the lambs, she sings baa baa white sheep 🐑. Lol
I'm here for the tail wagging! Too cute!
You are so lucky to have long legs with all the gate climbing you do.
Just what I was thinking!
The gates are 2.5 feet tall...maybe 3 feet.
I agree I'm only 5"
How awesome is that! I love lambing the most. If I could be there, I would stay in the barn 24/7. Watching the new life being born is a wonderful thing! Thank you, Sandi for letting us join you! Love you and your sheep!
Lol, the girls wanted their suite ready and right now!!!!
Wow this group is gonna be done in no time. I have never seen so many lambs in such a short time. Keep up the great work ladies. And obviously Sandi. I love seeing them give birth, it's so special 💗 💕
I like the one lambing in the background right next to all the maternity pens you put up. You could just box that one in right there. 🤣🤣
🤔🥳💞
Somehow, it ALWAYS shocks me to hear the ewes bleat in what "should be" the voice of a RAM! THEY'RE JUST SO DEEP.
Love the lambs. I hope you can do the full births. I am not sure why UA-cam has a problem with birthing lambs. I have had friends that had animals just so the kids could see this happening. I love all you do and share with us. Sheep farming and all that goes with it is very interesting.
At the birth of my sons I remember waiting to see their first poo and you Sandi copied my delight and big grin when it happened. It's funny how the small things puts a motherly glow on a birth of 2 or 4 legged babes. 🇨🇦
Oh Sandy you're so lucky to see this miracle over and over again. Thank you ever so much for sharing.
Ok so that one ewe who kept trying to get into the pens you were building, might just be the worlds smartest sheep. In her head she is like, the blue boxes mean I have a baby, and I am ready to not be pregnant anymore! 😂😂😂
I absolutely love the way, that the Mommas talk to the babies! That’s such a sweet sound! I also love it when you’re talking to a Momma that’s in labor and asking her if she’s going to have her babies! It’s truly sweet!! Sandi, you’re definitely doing what you’re supposed to do in this world! Much love to you and your flock!! Kristin from Oklahoma 💖💖💖
THESE ARE IMPORTANT VIDEOS FOR THOSE WHO THINK FOOD MAGICALLY APPEARS IN THE STORES AND IN THE FRIDGE..
I totally agree! Also important for the people who post "How could you raise those calves, lambs, rabbits, etc and then send them off to be MURDERED. You are a heartless monster!" and then go eat a veal cutlet.
In ANYWAY, if it is on your vlogs or you do a separate video of the full lambing. I AM HAPPY EITHER WAY, I AM JUST SO HAPPY AND GRATEFUL THAT YOU ARE SHOWING EVERYTHING AGAIN!! But these mommy ewes are some champions. That one you first got on video lambing, her second lamb looked like it came out backwards and she acted like it didn’t bother her at all. I also thought the sheep behind her at (5:45-6:20) was just so cute at what she was doing! But WOW Sandi these ewes are popping out babies like it’s nothing and you can so tell the difference between the last lambing group and these ones. The last ones were first timers and these are OGs of being mommies!! 💗💗💗🐑🐑🐑💗💗💗
Of course we like watching every Part of lambing. Only pay attention to positive comments. Again. We all love you and your lambs.
OMG, CUTENESS OVERLOAD 🥰
34 in 2 days is awesome 🎉
However I can see why by the end of a tight lambing group you get burnt out. So glad you have such an Awesome helper in Karissa. She Rocks🎊🥰
Love how that one ewe is like "I know where the Maternity ward is, let me in already."
We defiantly all would love to see the full births in a separate video, it’s shame that UA-cam has a problem with educational content 🙄
Yeah, a lot of youtube docs and historians get problems. Like its a WWII doc, of course they’re gonna mention the wicked chancellor a time or ten
Bryan McGucken Honestly! Some of the history UA-camrs I watch, like Lindsay Holliday, have issues stating facts because UA-cam flags their videos, so annoying!
Agreed.
It's weird--You Tube has *no* problems with lambs getting *into* the ewe (ewe getting bred), but them coming out is another matter. This narrow-mindedness has been going on since Disney's "Living Prarie" (?) back in the late '50s
،دمخك&
Sorry for the loss of the little lamb. The birthing you filmed was amazing!! Good mama ewe!! Hahaha the ewe that lambert close to the birthing pens knew she needed to go to the maternity ward, good ewe she knows where to have a baby. What a huge baby!! Great video!!
It's like Christmas, 3 videos in 3 days. Thank you
Hooley Dooley that’s a lot of lambs for 2 days
Sandi - Did you change the feeding times to see if you could "prevent" night births? I remember you talking about it in the past and was wondering if it is a myth or if there was something to it :)
I love lambing videos.
Favorite time(s) of the year.
I understand that it's a lot of work to balance between filming, editing and lambing, so thank you so much for bringing us this content Sandi.
Sandi, it cracks me up to see you going over those fences, one more inch and you couldn’t make it. 😂. It’s a good thing God gave you those long legs! Thoroughly enjoy your videos. Only wish I had your energy but alas at 85 it’s long gone. God love you 😘
The circle of life is amazing. Pain, struggle, success, new life. Kinda awful for a bit and then glorious. Such a good video. You captured it all. Thanks. ❤
Quite the assembly line you’ve got going , Sandi🐑🐑🐑🐑
I love how the other ladies stand around an watch as a ewe is lambing. It’s as if they are giving support and advice!
Sandi I Am Proud To See All Your Lambs As I Was A Sheep Farmer With My Dad .From England UK .
I really enjoyed the live birth you showed - birth is such a beautiful miracle! Those sure were two beautiful lively twins! Good job mama ewe! And good job Sandi! (And the bonus birth! Whopping big lamb! Whoa mama!)
Please tell Carissa what a great job she does to help keep things so nice and for being such a great help to you!
Thank you for showing the twins birthing in its entirety, LOVED IT!!
Sheep butts on the milk machine!
I love the full lambing videos so magical the cycle of life.
More lambs! Great job Sandi! 🐑🐑🐑
I love how quickly they learn to associate you with food. Too cute calling for you. I'm so sorry you lost one of the teeny tiny ones. Hope the other does okay. My favorite videos are these.
When the ewes from the other pen gather around the mum giving birth, it's like they're all giving her moral support and admiring her beautiful babies at the end... sooo sweet! I've always believed no matter the species, animals want to have a job. These ladies seem to enjoy theirs immensely!
Lambs here, lambs there....lambs everywhere!!!! ❤️
So surprised to see your new video during this MORNING. Usually it’s late afternoon before I see your posts. Your posts are just so amazing. Nothing like witnessing a birth....animal or woman!!!! Cannot wait to see what tomorrow brings you. Congratulations on the birth of so many lambs already🎊🎉☺️
Ps. Thanks for all the extra work on the lambing videos . It is still my opinion that every time you assist a ewe you extend her productivity and her life .🥰❣❣❣
Love to see all the lambs!!! 🥰
Thank you for sharing the uninterrupted birth of the twins! Amazing to watch an experienced ewe do it so beautifully!
Just about to whatch this one, so excited!! The other video ft the song "push it" had me crying with laughter, absolutely brilliant, i hope you have a wonderful day Sandi 💛🐑
Day two and 21 lambs!!! Wow! All of your sheep look so happy and healthy. It’s such a pleasure to watch the farm workings.
Great job Sandi! Those ewes are doing so well so far. Can you remind us about the placement of the purple dot on a ewes back to indicate when they were pregnant checked if it was suppose to be 1,2 or more lambs? I’d love to see how accurate the preg check was. I guess you’d need a long line on her back if she was having five! Five, just imagine! Good mommy....said in Sandi baby lamb voice. ❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍🐑🐑🐑🐑
At the shoulders is one, middle is 2, hips is 3 or more
Jyuukai thanks .👍
I feel so bad for skinny momma and her babies. I just found out one of them died and I'm literally crying right now.
I fully understand your feelings but remember two things,
A key issue with any new born is birth weight - hence the importance of late gestation nutrition. Just watch the video to see the relative size of singles at birth and compare them to the size of lambs from multiple births.
It is also an unfortunate fact of life that where there are livestock there will always be deadstock and so that is why stock people work so hard to minimise this.
Whatever changes you made to this lambing group to get these multiples, keep doing it!!!
Ur videos make me happy when I am sad, Lambs are so cute!!!!! Love you sandi!
Wowza! That's awesome! My sheep have only ever given me trips. And only one of them. :) but hey! I can not WAIT until mine lamb out in Jan/Feb. I'm SOOOO excited! Love watching these videos! ❤❤❤ debating on vlogging it. Really am!
Hi this is sandy. I started watching you . In the last few weeks. When I was 13 I use to help my Dad bring lambs in to this world. We had 60 head very April we had little lambs running around the little pond behind the barn. Love watching you deliver lambs. Reminds me. Of the days when I was young I am 72 and love your show I just wish Dad was here to see this. He would’ve loved to see how you take care of your lambs your friend sandy
Well the boys really did there thing this time and it definitely I think affected the numbers by using the ceders... With the last group most had one baby but this time I can see that it is noticeably different this lambing group. I guess we will truly see how everything worked at the end of lambing. CONGRATS ON SOME FLUFFY QUIT BABY LAMBS 🥰🥰🥰🥰🐑🐑🐑🐑🙏🙏🙏🎉🎉🎉🎉🎈🎈🎈🎈🍾🍾🍾🥂🥂🥂
The last group were new to lambing and so are much less likely to have multiple births.
Oh my! So many in just two days!! Means your Rams were very busy when they were doing their jobs! Hehehehe, and they all so cuuuuuuuuute! 😁
Also does anyone else sit and talk to the screen? Come on mom you can do it. Clean off the face so the baby can breathe!!! Great job mom, baby is already up.... hahaha I do it all the time
Yes!! It is all I can do to not go through the screen to help her deliver! My son thinks I have lost my last marble because I say "You can do it - now PUSH!". or " Mama Ewe, c'mon! Clean that baby quick before another one distracts you!".
Kygirl722 Totally!!❤️🐑
I do too lol all the time
Yup I sit here waiting and holding my breath waiting to see movement.
@@aquieterwolf4190 My daughter and BF think I'm nuts. They give me the weirdest looks lmao 🤣
Thank you for letting us see the births
Loving all the new babies, great job sandi. Love to see how happy they look too.
You gotta love the Lamb-aze coaches across the fence around 8 minutes when mom is having the twins!
That was a perfect birth! No meconium even! Thanks for sharing! -Val

This group of gals is making up for all the singles in the last batch. Congrats on an awesome group so far.
I will second Willen Enable's comment below. Sandi has that gorgeous bright smile of hers on, and her voice raises an octave when she's dealing with her babies.
I don't think there's anything more beguiling when it comes to baby animals, than a brand new lamb.
They sure are coming fast. Maybe you will have a quick lambing. The mums certainly seem to know what they are doing. Love the little lambs. You look so happy Sandi. 🥰
Sandi, your dad's seem so much healthier, leaner, and stronger with pushing out those babies this time! The dad's last time seemed so heavy they could hardly stand and weren't as effective at pushing. Great job so far!! 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Welcome babies!! Such a busy group. Love the great video Sandi ❤️❤️
Hi Sandi, Thank you for taking us along for the day, love the babies. I like it when you leave the camera to film what's going on. Nice choice of music. Hope all is well with you❤️
That backwards lamb sure made a quick entrance 👍 had to watch twice to catch that it was butt first!
If you ever wanted proof that diet matters for gestating Ewe's, here it is!
The lambing and stories of your journey are my favorites of your videos, thank you for sharing them!!
Loved seeing the little lambs being born. That's amazing! 🤍🤍 🥰🥰🤍🤍
Awesome video as always Would love to see more births so my grandsons could watch. He said he has too watch more for when his has there lambs so he knows what to do
What a magical moment just watching the lambs birth. What a great mom. So calm. Thanks for sharing!
That first birth was Textbook! Thanks for showing the Lambies being born I’ve been dying to see this. 😃👍😃 ☘️☘️🇮🇪☘️☘️
That lamb crawling to it's mom was so sweet.
Thank you for all of your great videos! So happy that there are more ups than downs 😊🙏 Love from Anna in Sweden
😱 baby boom.
The race is on that's alot in 2 days🐑🐑
Can’t wait for tomorrow’s video of new babies! Loved the full labor videos! Want to see all the mamas give birth to every little one please! Sleep well. Bet you won’t have to count sheep after all your daily hard work!!!🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑❤️❤️❤️❤️🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Lambing is going so well. Beautiful to see the ewes doing what needs to be done. Great job. 🐑🐑🐑
I was so excited to see more babies and I had to wait all day! Worth the wait love to see you able to show the start of life. So happy your posting life as is as a farmer, its not all sunshine and daisies. Thank you and rest well Sandi!
If Carissa is doing such a swell job she definitely deserves a pay raise don’t you think Sandi!🤗👍
Hi again SANDI
Another productive day I'd say!! Thinking by the looks there's many more multiples coming! Off to a really good start and yes it's soo nice when all are fed happy and quiet. Means all are good yay! Everything feels different this go around and you are seeming less stressed too. So hoping all will cruise through this time for you Sandi. Thx as always for sharing. Enjoy those babies...
Goodness either those codes make a big difference or the boys really had a good time. Just love that smile! It’s contagious makes me smile.
I love watching you help deliver babies. UA-cam needs to get on board!
These lambs are the cutest to watch. Your eyes are so relaxed giving birth. There all adorable.
Here I am, leaving a comment and watching ALLLLLL the ads so you can get your coins :) also liked the video!
I can't believe that something as natural as giving birth has to have a warning. What is this world coming to?!? I absolutely LOVE watching your videos!
Woot! Time for some sheep content!!!!
What a nursery you have. So precious. I love watching births whether it is humans, goats, sheep, you name it. It is an exciting experience to see.
Another beautiful lambing video!
You can always tell when an animal trusts you. They come to you, they stare at you, they know your voice, your animals/kids trust you :)
Sandi has ewes that become ultra friendly, calm and loving prior to birth. That’s the influence of hormones.
