Love it. I told my husband when our Keurig dies I will get one that makes a pot and uses regular coffee. I think with as much as we drink coffee the cups cost a lot...but I did get my keurig when I was the only one drinking coffee, LOL. This machine looks great, I have seen it at costco as well.

Invader coffee has some of the best coffee I’ve ever had! I love how the original invader blend is air roasted, preventing the beans from being too acidic or burnt, but my favorite coffee that they offer is the mexican chocolate. It is the smoothest best flavored coffee blend that I have ever had!! Another good blend that I’ve tried is the Whiskey blend which is my third favorite. No bitterness yet deep flavor, it is to die for!! Finally I love how the company is run by a vertern and how the website is super user friendly and delivery is fast and on time. I highly, highly, highly suggest you get yourself some invader coffee.
I am so glad you did this review! My Keurig died in the last month and I have just been using my French Press. I trust your opinion and I am seriously considering one of these now instead of replacing the Keurig. Thank you! :)
I absolutely love it. I would say the only thing that is a little hard getting used to after having a Keurig for so long is cleaning out the coffee grounds. I think that is why they do make filters that fit this machine, so people can just toss the coffee/coffee filter. I don't mind cleaning out the filter, but some might be used to the convenience of a K-cup.
Jess, this is a great review! I want a Ninja! lol when you first bought it I had never heard of these so my interest was immediately piqued. We’ve been Keurig users for about 6 years now, we had a Tassimo but didn’t like it at all. Ninja is my next brewer for sure.
Nice review, thank you. I wonder, Why didn't the designer make the spoon cubby inside a cover? Who wants to use something that's open to the elements? I.e., dust or a random fly that happens by? Or do most people not care?
Jess this was such a GREAT review! I've been contemplating a Ninja Coffee Bar for a couple years now. I have a Ninja Blender and a Ninja Cooking System (both older models from several years ago, still going strong!) so I definitely like the brand. I think I'll put this on the Christmas list for the family.
I love all the features EXCEPT.... that its not programmable and that it doesnt do a full pot. Is this type available in an upgrade where it has all these features PLUS tge programmable feature as well as able to do a full pot?
Mike Ferguson I’ve had this version for two years now, and have some seriously hard water. I get a cleaning light every few weeks, and run a vinegar cycle and the light turns right off. It will continue to brew with the light on, but my coffee starts to taste funky, so I’d say it’s accurate when it tells me it needs cleaned. I haven’t had problems with incorrect brewing amount, not like when I was using a Keurig. If mine died today, I’d immediately replace it.
If you live in an area that has hard water I would pass on this because mine kept telling me to clean it after about 5-6 months. I cleaned it with CLR and it would work again for a few weeks. I did this a few times then I gave up on it and bought a different coffee maker. I did research and I found many people believe this happens due to using hard water. UA-cam has tons of videos on how to fix it... hope this helps!
I got this machine for mothers day. I dont use it that much because it leaves the coffee with an after taste like plastic ir something. If anyone has any suggestions why this is. I use good quality coffeeto start (Starbucks).
Hmm interesting...I wonder if it has to do with the coffee filter basket. I have used these types of machines before so maybe that is why I don't notice a plastic taste. Maybe try to use the paper filters and see if that makes a difference!

There is a model that brews pots and the single serving. Maybe that would be a good model for you!

It comes with the large clear double walled cup I show in the video. I believe it is 22 ounces and can be used for cold or hot beverages.
What were those vanilla and caramel flavor things you had in the bottles in the background?
They are good to use for a sweetener, but you can't taste any flavor. It's called skinny syrup

Yes! Mine is still going strong. It gets used a lot too between me and my son - I would say we brew about 6 cups per day.

Yep! I buy either ground coffee or whole coffee beans and grind them myself!
