Just bought one and I must say when you use the specialty brew setting it makes some of the best darn coffee I have ever had!!! Well worth the money considering Im not buying coffee by the cup anymore.
I am sure a lot of coffee geeks would be very interested in this fact . I just tested the water dripping onto the coffee beans. It was fairly difficult to get a thermocouple into the basket but I managed. The water spends most of its time between 195 degrees in 205 degrees. I would estimate it spends at least 90% of the time in the range. It started out a little low at about 185 degrees but fairly quickly got up above 195 degrees. The pre-infusion only reached about 155 degrees but that is because so little water was dropped into the basket then. I have not done a time test. Also this was for a single travel mug of coffee. Oh by the way this was a really nice Cup of coffee.
Just some advice, one of the main things people want to make sure works well on an espresso system is the frother, it’s hard to mess up making coffee, hot water through the grounds usually gets the same result. But a lot of coffee makers have failed as far as the frother goes, I think it’s a power issue.
The frother works well on this machine using a mechanical mixer type built in device. Far easier and more consistent than using steam to froth which is what I did in past.
NICE TO SEE A MAN BREWING COFFEE FOR A CHANGE . I LIKE THIS NINJA COFFEE SYSTEM... VERY NICE FOR MOTHER'S DAY... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MOTHERS AND MOTHER'S TO BE...
It looks like a lot of people are asking him the same question.. I was wondering the same thing.. So I think his demonstration was a little wrong.. Because yeah if you're making an iced coffee you want to use the over the ice button..
That did hit me a little sideways too. It could be that that is how he likes his coffee. The over ice selection does offer a stronger brew which may not be to his liking. Although if that were true he might of qualified his selection.
i want 1, this black friday of 2018 i saw it for $100. my fav part is tht its Podless... unlike the keurig Expresso machine uses the most uncommon expensive pods that are so hard to find. paid $200 for it 2 or 3yrs ago... this machine will work with any cofee brand, love tht😀👍👍
I love mine!! I got it for a Christmas present 2 years ago and still using it I buy my own Dunkin’ Donuts bag of coffee and I make it in my ninja and to tell you the truth it taste just like dunkins actually the same so if you don’t have one I recommend you buy one worth every penny 😃
The only problem I have had with Ninja is getting the clean light to stay off. After clean process clean light comes back on after first or second cup made. Have followed half a dozens " fix " recommends, double clean, must be cycled properly etc to no avail. This is a common problem it seems.
im getting the 1st version of this swapped out because its got many flaws, does this current version have a way of detecting the water level and not let you make a coffee with insufficient water in the resevoir? that was my biggest issue with v1, when your tired and just want a coffee and it only makes a quarter cup...pretty frustrating!
I like my coffee extremely hot, Ninja satisfies that need. It does take 3 minutes after initial turn on to produce hottest cup. In other words you turn power on you can start to brew a cup immediately but water will not be as hot as max unless you wait for 3 minutes, again after initial turn on is only time to have to wait for hottest brew.
Does the reservoir hold and pass water through a tank or is it directly out of the reservoir ? Trying to get away from water that has been sitting around.
I have one exactly like this but the clock on mine is on the top right under the water reservoir... anyone know if there’s a difference between the two?
Do you have to use a travel cup or can you use the carafe to make 16 oz of coffee? I CANNOT get the setting to recognize a travel cup, it auto defaults to carafe. Not a user friendly machine. The delay button is the worst to figure out. It will not allow me to choose travel cup, only carafe! It's there someone I can call to walk me through? I rely on the delay button for my morning cup of Joe, but i don't need a whole or half carafe!
It depends of the Model. I think the Ninja has about 4 models. Difference is the accessories. Probably u got one of the cheapest and that's y it didn't come with certain cups or filter.
Blue Frog While expresso is really concentrated coffee it is brewed at high pressure and heat giving it a layer of crema or foam and is around one oz a shot
after the clean cycle is complete, you have to rinse everything, fill the reservoir with clean water, then push the clean button again to flush the system. If you miss that step the clean button will remain on.

Rick thanks for the info!

I like how brief this video was although I'd have liked to see part of the brewing process

Why did you use classic brew to make ice coffee? Isn't there an over ice selection?

We have one and think highly of it so far!
Thank you. You’re the only one that told me about the drop stop! 🤦🏼♀️
Good demonstration but miss some of the features, like the frother, the espresso, and the other features that this machine is able to make.
Very cool demo, now I know I want to get this machine
Did I miss it, or did you not use the frother?
You missed it... Sheesh go drink some coffee and go back and watch it again..
Um, he did not use the frother.
He did too... Don't lie to them. Let them watch it again and see where he used it..

Why didn’t you chose over ice brew for the first one you made?
i want 1, this black friday of 2018 i saw it for $100. my fav part is tht its Podless... unlike the keurig Expresso machine uses the most uncommon expensive pods that are so hard to find. paid $200 for it 2 or 3yrs ago... this machine will work with any cofee brand, love tht😀👍👍
Walmart has it for $79 right now online !

does the over ice button make the coffee brew hot or cold?
Are you able to program to brew at a specified time?
It has a delay brew that allows you to brew at a specific time. Like if you want your coffee brewed at 8am when you get out of bed, You can do that.
I would like to say this is an great video and a great machine.
Does it have a stainless steel heating element or alumium?
Just bought one. Great unit. Where did you get that coffee container? I have been looking for one just like it.
This Ninja bar looks so asome OMG
I'm waiting for an Ovaltine Station!
Lol
SteelGage Only if it comes with a Tang option.
Ha ha
Whats that?
Where can I order the tumbler, Froather and Glass craft?
Ours was given to us without everything.
Awesome review man , thank you so much

Can you tell me the model of the ninja
Did you put a filter and what kind of filters????
Great setup and review!
Whats the model number on this specific one?
Does it have a hot water function to make tea?
im getting the 1st version of this swapped out because its got many flaws, does this current version have a way of detecting the water level and not let you make a coffee with insufficient water in the resevoir? that was my biggest issue with v1, when your tired and just want a coffee and it only makes a quarter cup...pretty frustrating!
Can you not just look in the clear water container and see that it's low on water??
Thank you! Buying one now haha
Awesome view, but you failed to taste it and give us your feedback on what the actual coffee tasted like!
I love mine it's great.i made my first caramel ice coffee.
Iced
GOOD VIDEO but does anybody knows the brewing temperature ( i care about flavor ) thank you
I read a review that said the coffee didn't come out warm. How could that be when others say they like it?
I like my coffee extremely hot, Ninja satisfies that need. It does take 3 minutes after initial turn on to produce hottest cup. In other words you turn power on you can start to brew a cup immediately but water will not be as hot as max unless you wait for 3 minutes, again after initial turn on is only time to have to wait for hottest brew.
What was the brew time? You fast forwarded.
Title says review, not tutorial... I was looking for pros and cons.
Just scored one today for $53!! Can't wait to try it out
Rebeka Perez on clearance?
How do U like it?
2003JrF4i I just bought one at best buy ($170 :/), and I love it. Just capuccionos so far, thou.
7 dollar score for me. Second hand yard sale though.
Does the reservoir hold and pass water through a tank or is it directly out of the reservoir ? Trying to get away from water that has been sitting around.
sitting in a resevoir I believe. This is an awesome machine. I have tried many and this is the best because the coffee actually gets hot.
Thanks for all the info! You might want to try and reduce the “go ahead” though in future vids but thanks for the detail.
I'm sure he'll go ahead and try that. Thanks for commenting and go ahead and a have a great day now!
Lol I'm glad someone else caught it too
How many TBS is a scoop?
What’s the model number?
How loud is this coffee machine? Do you know of any silent coffee machines hot or cold?
silent.
I have one exactly like this but the clock on mine is on the top right under the water reservoir... anyone know if there’s a difference between the two?
Sayra Castillo you probably have the older model
can you use espresso?
Can you set a timer for it to come on before I wake up?
The delay button is very hard to figure out.
Thanks for showing how this works
Do you have to use a travel cup or can you use the carafe to make 16 oz of coffee? I CANNOT get the setting to recognize a travel cup, it auto defaults to carafe. Not a user friendly machine. Yeah why the heck didn't you use the iced coffee setting? lol
I don't get it.
If you were making iced coffee to begin with, why did you click over ice and not your regular brew? Just asking
can this make espresso?
Zubi Khan no unfortunately it cannot. Thanks for watching!
you can use espresso grounds
Why didn’t you make any hot drinks or use the frother? All cold and you skipped the Actual brew proses, how loud is it?
You're showing me how to use a coffee maker, but thay moustache says you're going to show me different models of water heaters.
How come other videos that I've watched of people on boxing this there's did not come with that Tumblr ??
I got this coffee maker but I didn't come with a travel cup
It depends of the Model. I think the Ninja has about 4 models. Difference is the accessories. Probably u got one of the cheapest and that's y it didn't come with certain cups or filter.
Great Video thanks!!
Great product review but you never said if you actually liked the coffee..
But can it make espresso?
don’t think that was ice coffee lol that was hot coffee poured into a cup of ice
That's what ice coffee is though...
That's literally what iced coffee is... Are you confusing it with cold brew?
I believe that is how all iced coffee starts out?
Do something about your audio. It will make you sound more professional....which will gain you more subscribers. Excellent review.
What about tea
What about the carafe?
It has a frothed what about that
How would you choose whether you want it brewed hot or cold?
🔥❄️
ANYTHING ENTERTAINMENT for iced you fill the cup with ice and push over ice brew
I'd have liked to see the milk frothing... thingyyy
Why didn't you show all the bells and whistles
That's not the one with all bells and whistles, missing the insulated caraffe
Model # ?
Thank you ❤️
can I use whole bean instead of ground coffee? would this machine grind it??
Five friggin scoops. Holy hell.
Why would you not show it brewing??? 🤷♀️
This system is very versatile, like me
Ahmed Alharbi اننننن
Lol really now..
Pisses me off the stay warm plate refuses to just do as I want unless I'm trying to make a half or full pot 🙄
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Does the ninja coffee bar make espressos??
Lauren Wilkinson no it does not unfortunately.
you can use espresso grounds
I may be simple minded but it has a 4oz concentrated option... Isn't that basically what an espresso is? Concentrated coffee?
Blue Frog While expresso is really concentrated coffee it is brewed at high pressure and heat giving it a layer of crema or foam and is around one oz a shot
Ah ok. Well i'm sure to most people this machine is more than enough for their needs...
the Starfrit of coffee maker...
Dude, wtf? Mine didn't come with a permanent filter.
You got ripped off. :)
dont tell me you didnt count while hes scooping. lools
You only used classic brew twice come on you can do better
Then comes the 5 beeps of death and the 1yr warranty is expired.
What’s the 5 beep of death? My warranty just ended too.
@@titonothere6179 its when you try to make coffee and soon as you start the machine within 20 sec it beeps 5 times and cuts off.
Jd cool, thanks! Hasn’t happened to me yet.
I guess this is what men do after they get married
😂😂😂
I have a newer model.
Horrible machine. The cleaning stays on no matter if you clean it or not. S problem the company need to correct.
after the clean cycle is complete, you have to rinse everything, fill the reservoir with clean water, then push the clean button again to flush the system. If you miss that step the clean button will remain on.
@@agray7940 I have done that and it still continues with the light on.
Not even 2 years old and wont pull water tru it. Stops after 30 seconds
