Everyone in the comments saying it’s a slow/inefficient way to do eggs: not everyone watching these videos is looking for that. I just moved into a new (old) house and the oven and stove top both don’t work and need to be replaced and all I have currently is an air fryer and I don’t like using the microwave even if it’s faster. So I need this recipe because it’s a necessity! Some people do God’s work, give the guy a break! 😂

I live in an Apartment on the 3rd Floor in Northern Kentucky and my A/C doesn't do a Good Job Cooling off the Kitchen in the Summertime & I try not to use my Stove as Much as Possible. This is where I relay on my Air Fryer to do the Job and get me through the Summer!
Thank you for this, all these comments are negative but I found this useful when i got my gas cut off, I dont liek the radiation of cooking raw things in the microwave so the airfryer is great option ❤
Rather time-consuming and messy. Microwave 2 eggs for 1 minute without butter. If you get the timing right, it results in nice creamy eggs. Quick and easy to wash crockery afterwards.
Heavy cream and a gob of butter, eggs are meant to be healthy, haha. Also, with the way it cooks, the only way it would be feasible to make eggs in an air fryer is if you have no stovetop.
I cook bacon first then add butter to the bacon grease. Carnivore diet. I see mixed opinions in the comments. I think this method is useful for some people like college students living in the dorm or for those that have an air fryer in their office spaces.
For truck drivers maybe. Because this sure answered my question as a truck driver. If this could be done. Even tho it’s time consuming it saves me money and I can actually eat a healthy breakfast
It's about trying new ways of cooking seeing if something works for you or if you might be able to use it at some point. After seeing this video you learned that it did not work for you. While someone else saw an idea that they could use. That's "Why"! Now without a stove one could cook bacon and scrambled eggs as long as electricity is available and not have to pay a small fortune for breakfast on the road. Thats why!

Why the ***k would you do this rather than use a pan and be finished in 2 minutes? We're currently having our kitchen ripped out and replaced and im craving eggs. My only cooking devices are a microwave and a borrowed airfryer. I'd probably go in this order for egg fixes 3) airfryer 2) microwave 1) not have eggs
I crack eggs with one hand, so I have one hand with egg on it and one hand clean I can use to grab stuff. this two hand egg cracking stuff seems silly. Use the edge of the bowl to crack the egg then pull it apart with one hand and drop the content into the bowl.
Let me know if you tried it. Just so you know, cooking time will vary depending on your air fryer :)

same here, just moved into a flat and there's no stoves for cooking
Looks nice but I’ll stick to a frying pan for that one. A lot quicker and less hassle. I cook a mean scrambled egg too.

Scrambled eggs are so easy in a non-stick pan and takes no time. A skillet is easier to wash than the air fryer basket.

Overcooked and dry. Takes twice the amount of time they would on a stove top. Impossible to monitor as they cook. So one word: Why?

I think it would be easier and faster to do it in a non-stick frying pan.
