    been doing these for a while like this, i use silicone ramekins eggs come out easily, did have the crematic ones but silicone beats them too , nice to see so many ways to do poached eggs , and to anyone interested you can do boiled eggs directly into the air fryer, 7 mins they come out great for me in the cosori

      Hi Richard that’s a good comment thank you. You have learnt through your experience and shared that with everyone. 7 mins doesn’t sound long enough to me but the only way is to try it. What temperature do you use ?

      @@grahamgetsabout2672 works for me, guess depends on which air fryer you have , 8 mins prob the best to try , my air fryer has 2 heating elements, 360f or 180c

    Oh my, I know what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow. I never thought about eggs in the air fryer. I'm thinking 5 minutes for me. :)

    Prefer less than 1 minute in a microwave, tea cup, under just half full of cold water, crack egg in and voila

      @grahamgetsabout2672  Рік тому +1

      Hi Brian, there is always another way, if you’ve cracked that method then that’s best for you. I did the egg beans and a sausage patties for two all at the same time today. There is a shortie if it’s any help. Thanks for the comment it’s nice to know how people are doing things so we can all learn 👏👏👏👏👍

    Hello both, thanks for your blogs, really enjoy watching and listening to your funny comments! Just wanted to say I’ve got exactly the same small pudding aluminium basins which I bought in Lakeland and mine have a hole in as well! Don’t understand how they got a hole in them, they’re not cheap to buy! Really weird, must be poor quality materials used to make them

    Its a lot of fannying about. Much quicker on the hob less washing up too

    I have never been able to make these without them sicking in the ramekins, mine are ceramic but I have also used metal (mine were washed out tuna cans). I think it's the water, it takes the oil (or butter) away from the bottom of the ramekin, it floats of course, and then allows the egg to stick.
    I did also try silicone but they still stick and I'm not sure about silicone bakeware as it does not conduct heat.

      Hi, we have used the Airfryer for poached eggs loads of times but if we can a pan of water for 3 minutes is more consistent. So much depends on the eggs, how fresh they are, the chickens and their food.

    • @Dragonlord666x3
      @Dragonlord666x3 3 місяці тому +1

      True but I don't have a hob LOL plus you then have to add time for the water to come to a boil - not long but longer than just popping the ramekins in the AF
      still think it's the water making the oil (fat) float that allows the food to stick

      @@Dragonlord666x3 I can see your point. We’ve had some good results but not always, it makes me wonder if we should try bottled water 🤷‍♂️

    • @Dragonlord666x3
      @Dragonlord666x3 3 місяці тому +1

      I'm going to try add the oil, then the egg then the water see if the egg keeps the water on the top so the fat has a chance to stop the egg sticking.

    • @Dragonlord666x3
      @Dragonlord666x3 3 місяці тому +1

      well not a lot happened. they still stuck. I added (veg) oil then the egg then 3 tablespoons cold tap water, air fried at 190C for 7 minutes and they needed a little more so did 2 more minutes, checked after 1 minute, needed more (9 minutes total) and the only real difference was the yolk was on the softer side, runny. than those last night, so. of course, the cold water slowed down the cooking a little but not helping with the sticking, but I do think they were not as stuck as last night if that makes sense

    Hi Graham and Wendy, they weren't bad, i prefer them a bit runnier. I had one for tea, i did beans on toast, doing the fish tomorrow, i did mine in the microwave, small dish some boiling water, i did it for a minute,it turned out like yours. It so hard getting them just right. I might try your way for 4 minutes

      Eggs are difficult because eggs are like us, all a bit different. I always think eggs are best 3 minutes in a pan but it’s more messing about. We’ve been busy baking all day Wendy’s family bun fight tomorrow. Or late family birthday party in English 😂😂😂😂❤️🥰😘👍

      Hi, we actually found them in a charity shop. They are fantastic for Yorkshire puddings in the air fryer. Their aluminium. We have also bought some pot ramekins but I’ve not tried them yet. Try Amazon with this link
